Beautiful, spaciously designed bookstore in a beautiful building that has been left in its value. Skeleton van Hermen (?) Visible under glass plate + his wax figure on the upper floor. Here and there there are also seating areas + cafe.

Even if you are an alphabetic, it is good to be here in this special bookstore! The church itself and the restaurant give you the feeling that you are out for a day! You can safely speak of one of the crown jewels of Zwolle that you must visit!

Waanders is a bookstore annex Brasserie housed in the monumental Broeren Church in Zwolle. The church was built in 1460 and used for catholic, protestant -mostly- and jewish worshipping. In 1983 it was closed and in 2013 repurposed. There is still a very impressive organ present in the church and the food in the Brasserie tastes good! Overall very much worth a visit.

Beautiful place to have a bookstore! Huge collection of books, enough reading places and friendly staff. There is also a section where you can eat and drink something.

Always a nice bookshop where you can find what you are looking for. However, due to the many books, it is a quest. But certainly not a punishment for the real bookworm like myself.

Beautiful location in Zwolle with many options. Of course the bookstore with a lot of charisma in such a special place. But also room for a snack and drink in the restaurant. You can also rent that location for parties.

Super bookshop in historic building in the center of Zwolle. You really should visit even if you are not a bookworm.

Very nice place! They have stationary stuff and there is a good cafe. I wish they would sell more English young adult and new adult books and that there would be more clear signs for the categories.

For the building and the decoration alone, definitely worth a visit. You can also have a nice lunch there. Nowadays also on a beautiful terrace. It is truly an asset to Zwolle, but not the best bookstore in my eyes. If you're looking for a slightly older book, they do not describe here regularly. They have the principle of much a little here, with the emphasis on new books and bestsellers.

Very impressive bookstore in an old church, employees know a lot about the history of the building and Zwolle in general. During a visit it is advisable to look at the story of Hermen, a human skeleton that was excavated by accident in 2010. In addition, there is of course a complete offer at reasonable prices!

This is not a bookshop, but a book mecca! It is situated in an old church, and the architect has done it beautifully. The church organ still occupies a prominent place.
You can also eat there for a very reasonable price. We had the daily menu, which was very tasty.
The arrangement and layout of the books is clear.

Fantastic place. It is housed in an old church and completely renovated into a bookstore with a piece for a cup of coffee or something tasty. In my eyes, a very good combination with nice employees and a neat, well-arranged layout. Recommended.

What a wonderful place this remains. Enjoy an extensive arsenal of books under the beautiful frescoes. For me the most beautiful bookshop in one of the most beautiful and pleasant cities in the Netherlands, Zwolle.
