Nice eatery but there are only some small garden umbrellas?
Is very messy and is completely inadequate. We have been waiting until a shadow spot was released.
In a couple of large, square-shaped terrace parasols, put things in better shape and do not let your guests sit in the blazing sun!

What a nice thing: a great place for a long, lazy dinner session in summer and winter

This place has a privilege to be in an awesome place. Other than that, service is far from excellence: the personnel is not very accommodating nor customer friendly. Also often waiting time is too long cause not enough waitress. Better to go somewhere else.

There is a cozy atmosphere and I really enjoyed the food! For the children there is room to play so that was great too! Come back soon!

This pavilion cuts people's throats in terms of prices. It really is not about anything when you order a cup of coffee here. One and a half sip for three euros. The shelves with wafer-thin matured food do not look good either. All served by children. The park, on the other hand, is very worthwhile and it is ten times better to bring your own food and drinks.

Beautiful location, even in case of large crowds, it is soon a turn. Tasty dishes on the menu.

Very nice and popular among locals place right in the middle of the park!
We went for desserts, but they also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner as well. Their menu offers a lot of variety of food, so I am definitely going to come back and try some more!

Location is top especially in the summer. Coffee and service top. Only in terms of lunch options I thought it was not that special. But the taste was fine.

Super eaten for a normal price. Dinner menu is a bit small, but the food is fine

Go there to sit outside in the park and take in the somewhat slow service. in the evening around the campfire.

very slow service and semi friendly. on the picture you see how the boterham met kaas for children comes to your table...not invitive hmmmmmm....most times the people working in service are just not friendly. getting drinks, a second round takes ages....a friendly smile you hardly find there....

Staff who understand that you not only come for good food and relaxation, but also for a smile and a little extra.

They do their best in this. Food is good, place in the park nice. Only sometimes there is some frequent miscommunication. That remedy would yield the last star.

Decent enough food. A bit hipster. Slightly on the expensive side but hey...you pay for the lovely location in the park! Service could be better though. Slow and disorganised.

Nice little spot in the park to go for a fresh drink or some food. We went here for lunch. The portions were not so big (looked very nice though), and e.g. the pancakes were quite salty. We ended with a sweet 'dessert', which was fine but not impressive. It didn't taste and look like homemade. Even the whipped cream was not fresh and almost dripped from our cake. We won't go here for food again, but for just a drink and a nice 'park-feeling' it's definitely ok!

Relaxed place for a good coffee and light meals. Nicely located in the park. Dog friendly. Too bad they don't do soja variations anymore. The oat versions don't have the same fluffy texture. I very much like the avocado and bacon toast including a pooched egg

Perfect place to have a drink. Even if you walk over the heads in the park you can still find a free space here. Nice service, just a pity that it closes so early.

This is a hidden gem in the back of the park. Drinks and good food. Occasionally you can join wine tastings here.

Saw this on Sunday afternoon very crowded and got a chance to sample its wares this afternoon, with much lesser crowd

Chatted up with a smart gentleman who came with his grandkids. His name was Richard and he did look like his namesake Harris in the movies

Nice tent with original card. Oyster mushroom balls are especially tasty! Little seating. On a warm day the terrace is always full and you have little chance of being able to connect there ..

I will never come here again! A terrace, in the open air, which is non-smoking ???????? What kind of nonsense is this ???

Lovely place to have breakfast or lunch. Extensive menu with tasty options. Something for everyone, many healthy options. There is a spacious terrace with a view of the park. Lovely to sit in the afternoon and enjoy the sun. Service extremely friendly, only clearing the tables took a little long for us, a lot of rubbish was on the table for quite some time. Furthermore, definitely recommended.

Fantastic location, delicious food and very friendly service. Then why not five stars ?? The menu is very limited. That in itself is not a problem. However, the card also remains unchanged for several months. If there are only five or six main courses on it, you are quickly bored ... I would come more often if the menu changed faster. Everything else is Pico Bello

It is exactly what the Vroesenpark needed, but somehow it usually only stays with 1 beer and then we leave again. Maybe too hipster for us.

Had a nice lunch, the aubergine stew. The blueberry pancake (breakfast) remains the best.

Love it there on Sundays to chill on their chairs. And loving the coffee they serve there. Friendly people in friendly neighbourhood.

Informal, great food, very friendly staff, nice location

If you have an open kitchen, it is not so handy if there is a cook there who always puts his fingers in his mouth to taste but then does not wash his hands. And covering your staff as soon as they do something wrong is not fancy in front of guests.

Beautiful surroundings in the Varesen Park but sat inside and that is not comfortable without air conditioning. Prices also a bit on the higher side for what you get.
Service very friendly and high chairs abundant. Nice and delicious the homemade ice tea and brownie. Although the brownie was more like fudge .. but still very tasty.
