It's a nice park as far as big parks go, pleasant to walk through , tho maybe not worth going out of your way to see if honest.

Central park of Amsterdam special attention for the rose garden, here the grays gather to get a tan.

Loved riding the trails on our bikes! Nice playground for kids to climb amoungst the trees.

Probably the most peaceful part of the city. I end up going here everytime I visit. Try to cycle through this park if you can, it's that much better.

Take a run, do a workout, have a joint ore a coffee, just so what you want in the green lung off amsterdam

Very very cool park. Amsterdam is full of life, and its partly due to its great parks, and this is a great example. full of little canals and lakes and green ares, this is just perfect to hang around and take strolls when it's not raining

A very beautiful and wide park. Unluckily some of the entrances were closed and it was slightly difficult to access.

My friends and I spent a wonderfully lazy afternoon in Vondelpark. There are a lot of paths to take and things to see, nice grassy areas to sit beside and plenty of people watching to do. Plan ahead and bring lunch with you to enjoy while you relax in the grass!

This is absolutely my favorite place to hang out in Amsterdam. Its so nice

Great place to spend time when you have good weather with you. Big place to play football or any game you like. There is place for your animals aswell. Dogs are welcome and there are many ducks who's swimming around. Many trees and benches where you can hide from the sun.

Wow! Can words describe this amazing place? I will try: I was in many parks around the world but never I felt so much joy and happiness. Even the grass was warm and soft... Even sober it felt the same. As if the park and everything in it just hugs you and gives you positive vibes... there will always be some guys there with great music playing loud to complete the perfect picture!

Best place in Amsterdam. Be sure to check out the hostel while you're there.

Great place to go for a stroll. Some places include drug usage, but an overall pleasant experience.

The Vondelpark has great diversity in spaces, atmosphere and the people that visit it....next to being a cycle highway. It also much bigger than most people realise as it's design creates different smaller areas.

A must-see place in Amsterdam. The rose garden is amazingly pretty! And there is so much animal life and the cutest doggies running around.

Cute park. Did a bike tour and we rode through here. It was nice to learn background info about the land and history about it. Pretty trees and plants for one to enjoy a stroll though.

It was such a nice park, you can take a seat when you are exhausted, the nature is stunning and the people are nice and friendly

This beautiful park in Amsterdam is a small escape from the shopping area! You have a drink at vondel 3 or picknick with friends! When the weather is good, I am there to relax with my friends:))

Very nice place. Some water, a lot of grass, very brave birds. A lot of people sitting on the grass and just relaxing. Also o lot of place so you are not in immediate danger of being smashed by a light-speed travelling bike.

It's a really beautiful park at the center of Amsterdam. Iv'e been to Amsterdam twice, visited it each time and really enjoyed it. The park has beautiful small lakes and lovelt views, although it's in the center of a big orban area. I'd that's what gives the place it's magic. Anyways, putting my weird description aside, its recommened. Go there.

Lovely peaceful place to relax. Some interesting sculptures and flowers.

Fine and clean. Ideal for everyone, including families with smaller children. A quiet place, with lots of trees and fresh air, in the middle of Amsterdam. Services, such as restaurants, buffets and public restrooms are also provided.

Note: a "proper" restroom (water available) can be found a little further in the park (after the viaduct and a smaller lake, to the left). All "restroom funds" benefit the Vondelpark Open Air Theater!

Love the vibe, too big a park with lush green grass and trees. Enjoy an evening walk here or can cycle around.

Visited on early Summer. A Lot of grass. Nothing important to see as they removed the I amsterdam sign.

Wonderful timber climbing frame with various forms of bridges across interesting spaces. A safe place for children (and some parents) to challenge themselves

I love this park. In summer is always crowed but isn't important, because it is big and is very nice place.

I took a walk through the park after attending a conference, however the weather did not show the park at its finest, although I have no doubt that this would be a very pleasant place to enjoy a picnic on a sunny summer s day.

Big park with many paths and of course ubiquitous bicycles going everywhere. A few nice ponds and places to eat that range from food carts to fancy restaurants. On nice days, very crowded

BEAUTIFUL PARK! Love to walk around here! Too bad it was raining on and off when we were there, however, it doesn t change the beauty of this park! Los people on bikes , lots people commute through here, what a beautiful commute!

The park was nice, open and scenic. Cafe was a plus with nice food and drink. Can fill drink bottles up using the taps. Good to relax and enjoy this city oasis. If you re nearby at the Rijksmuseum it s a good place to take a rest.

Went in January so it was cold. Plenty of people walking and biking. Beautiful place away from the hustle of the city.

Absolutely stunning...so chilled out....just make sure you walk on the right path or you'll get ran over by a cyclist
