Many benches, much lawn and water. Great place to relax and enjoy the sun!

An amazing park very clean and with a lot of beautiful birds. We have walked it and we needed two hours to do so. We came form Greece and I was so jealous of this beautiful place to go for a walk, to relax.

This place was super cool to see in the evening. They had those protests going on and free wifi. Also, I think someone lost their dog, but it seemed to have a happy ending. 5/5

Its hard to believe its in the middle of the city. Want to catch a fresh air in the urbanized Amstersam, this park is a place to go. Also, Dutch way is the best way to explore the park. Bike it up.

It has some amazing houses aboard bordering the park. Just walk off of Leidersplein and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Big park, reminds me of NY's Central Park. Very nice place to walk around and breath some fresh air, or just sit down or lay down on the grass.

Wonderful place for leisure, socialising and anything you can name. It's the best place to go to experience Dutch life. In summer, everyone is there! Whether you kick a football, enjoy a picnic, or ride a bike, Vondelpark is for you.

Very relaxing and serene park. I sincerely advice getting a bike and exploring this place. You will see a greatndiversory amongst the people and beautiful scenery.

Very busy as it was a hot day but still lots of room, plenty to see also lots of hot dog stands. Lovely ponds and flowers. Only down side smelly toilets (yucky)

A lovely places to walk around! There was even a place to stop and get a beer and some snacks.

Best park with the best people and the best attractions

Wondered around for a bit, but the fun really started once we rented bicycles and got to zoom around the park. Once we got a feel for Amsrerdam cycling we grabbed a hotdog and relaxed under a tree in the park. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

It was not a very long walk from our hotel. The park has lots of space with wide roads for walking and biking...Perfect to visit.

This park is a perfect place to escape to from the craziness of the city. There is an amazing tree house in the middle of the park and lots for kids to do. There are some beautiful views with the fountains. Even with the weather not being warm it was a lovely escape from the city. A couple of maps would have improved the park in my opinion.

Very beautiful park . It was well maintained, clean and green. The lakes were beautiful. Even though when I went there it was drizzling, but it was beautiful nevertheless.

One of the great urban parks, the heart of the 60's revolution in the Amsterdam and now a large playground for young and old alike. Both well manicured but also wild, it is an ideal place to bike, run, walk and play.

Vondelpark is one of those iconic must go to places in Amsterdam. It s fairly close to central. It s a nice place to take a walk in - multiple paths, dirt and paved. There s water, animals, bridges, and a monument or two. There s usually people out on the grass relaxing and drinking.

There s food all around the park. There s even a cafe in the park, and usually a few small food stands with things like hotdogs.

As always, beware of bikes!

Great park! Lots of benches and there are a couple of restaurants inside too. You can quite a bit of it and not even realize it.

Far too cramped and packed with people that feel the need to share their music with everyone.
Typical visitors: drunken tourists, snowflakes and people with no imagination. Amsterdam has many parks. Sure, Vondelpark is nice, but do try the others.
It's also a commuters park so watch the bikes.

The park is centrally located and it is an attraction point for both locals and tourists.

Its vondelpark....take your bike or go for a peaceful stroll...they have some nice restaurants and cafes in the park....despite that this park is full of people it is somehow peaceful.....plus it's close to everything...

There is one downside to this park. Winter or summer it is just always to busy.
But this is a lively and lovely city park. There are some spots which are for BBQ purposes and the rest is just park.
In the summer you can sit and enjoy the people walking and biking the park.
I love Amsterdam and I love this park!

One of the most beautiful parks I've visited. It takes one a small hour to walk a full circle. My favorite place to meet before doing a walk is the Vondelpark3 restaurant.

We wanted to go for a bike ride in Amsterdam but didn't want to take on the busy streets of the city. This park turned out to be a great spot to bike around for an hour and enjoy the fresh air and greenery. We rented our bikes at MacBike just outside of the park which was convenient and the staff were very helpful.

BEAUTIFUL! There is a knee high splash pool in the middle of the park. Perfect for the summer time, with plenty of playgrounds for the kids.

My home town local city park, every day you find something new if hou know where to look..

Nice place for either hanging out or running. It's a tourist place so you'll see a lot of people chilling in the grass, listening to music, etc. However, you can always run, bike and do exercise also. It's a good place if you're like me and enjoy running and seeing people.
