Amazing place for walking or biking, you can rent a bicycle right near the entrance of the park and ride among the amazing views

As long as you dodge the bikes, the park is beautiful and tranquil

I had read and seen quite good feedback about this park on Maps and YouTube but frankly I was very disappointed with this park. I think having been to Regent's park, St. James' park and Hyde parks in London led me to expect much more from Vondelpark. It's not even half as good.
Lawns are not well kept, bad cleanliness, dust and mud, water fountains not working and rude cyclists. Didn't find any good cafe's as well within the park. Waste your time here at your own peril.

Pretty typical city park. There is mostly grass and trees with a pond in the middle.

It's hard to find usable green spaces in Europe. This is certainly a spot to play a game of anything or just lay down under a tree for a snooze with the ambient sound of bicycles. Such a nice escape.

This is a beautiful park, great to walk around or people watching. The pavement is wide enough to cycle around so it does get packed with people in bicycles. Either way, you can spend hours to relax here.

Stunning in August sunshine. And lots of places to sit in the shade, on seats or under beautiful trees.

Truly one of the best parks in Amsterdam if not the best. It can be a bit too busy with tourists on warm or sunny days but not everyone sees it as a bad thing.

Love this park in the middle of Amsterdam. Great for relaxing. Having a beer at the Blauw Theehuis. Great beer from the tap! Or with your kids klimming over the tree tops.

This park has everything: fluffy dogs with no leashes, locked up gazebos, rocks, rich people in close proximity, etc. If I had a lot more money, I'd live near here!

Always full of tourists and locals alike. Despite the abundance of trash cans, visitors seem to like to abandon their trash everywhere. There's plenty better parks in Amsterdam.

Nice park to cycle,run or walk on paved or gravel path. Great view of the surrounding buildings and clean.

A great park with many lakes, featuring its own free WiFi services. Great for going on walks, jogging, or cycling.

Well it's a public park? Nice place to relax I suppose but the cyclists are a pain, you can't hear them from behind until they ring those bloody loud bicycle bells... I found myself constantly looking around as the cyclists here ride like people possesed...

Vondelpark is spacious and welcoming. We enjoyed walking and biking through the park.

The park is so beautiful with long walks all around. Theres multiple small rivers running through it and it's a great place to cycle with cyclists weaving in and out. It's just a nice way to spend a summer's day!

We enjoyed our leisurely stroll through the park, enjoying the rose gardens, the little forests, the quaint bridges over the small waterways and also the lovely areas to just sit and relax. Truly a lovely day out.

This is a beautiful place to be. I visited in November and the weather was pleasant. The best way to see this park, as many other will agree, is by bike. I rented bikes form nearby- you will find many places.

An excellent place to relax and to read your book at a bench during a sunny day. The area near the fountain is breathtaking. A stroll through the park is an amazing experience you should have once you are around.

Great park right in the heart of Amsterdam. The cafe was great for a quick bite and beverages...adult or otherwise. Lots of plant material in the air made it a bit annoying but I am sure that's just the time of year.

Nice place and very popular, overcrowded in sunny days and weekends. Nice rose garden to look at. If you prefer wondering in a quite park, enjoying nature on your own... that's definitely not a proper place for you

Amazing place to visit. A lot activities here starting from bicycles and runs and the end yoga with private teachers to big groups of people. Also nice place to come here after work and seat or walk around. Here is a lot lakes and bunches and very green area.

If you visit AMSTERDAM... you have to visit that park.
Green, water, people, dogs, old small bridges, birds, more dogs and sporty people!

Beautiful park. Ive traveled to Amsterdam twice and visited Vondelpark both times. I went bike riding there both time as well. Beautiful views. I cant wait to go back again!

A must go to, I recommended going by bike it is much easier to get around the park and you will see much more versus going by foot.

Biggest park in Amsterdam. Beautiful, peaceful but not calm all the time due to the increased number of tourists...

A lovely park. Clean, tidy and very peaceful. A nice place to walk the dog, cycle or go for a run.

There are no places to sit, all the benches are full. Would have needed a bench with a table attached to it, so I could easier eat my food. Every corner you turn, even if you sit on the dirty grass EVERYONE SMOKES WEED! Not a welcoming place!!
