Very crowded but a really nice place to go for a stroll. Just should be closed for cyclists

A lovely park with lots of routes to take in the very centre of the city. We rented bikes and cycled around Vondelpark, highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam! Lots of wildlife and greenery to see, plenty of places to sit and relax, aswell as some cafes.

A great park we caught it in a lovely day and it was popular. Our children enjoyed the playground and tree house.

Bring your running shoes with you on your business trip and have a great run before breakfast. Beautiful park in Amsterdam!

The largest city park of Amsterdam and the most famous as well, Vondelpark is full of things to do not just for the locals but the tourists alike. On a bright sunny day you'll find this park is full of people and families enjoying a picnic and basking around or engaging in some activities, relaxing with a bottle of wine!

It's definitely one of the best go to places to relax for me at the end of my trip to Amsterdam after I'm exhausted.

Fantastic park in the middle of the city. You can find lots of people enjoying the summer days there. There are also more private spots to be found. I suggest experiencing the park on a bicycle.

Historical park in Amsterdam... awesome when its not that crowded

Very peaceful! Freshest air! Fantastic for a run or a walk or even just lying around reading a book or best part what I enjoyed doing nothing! Went twice during my visit in Amsterdam!

One of the most peaceful places that I have spent time in,The whole place is so calming and beautiful, you can sit and watch life going past you as you sit on a bench.

Loved the place, though better sunset viewpoint would have made things better. Lot on people use it, jet there seemed to be room for everyone.

Like a paradise in the middle of city. You see people jogging, skating, cycling around. Lots of kids playing in parks and dogs runnning around. Peaceful place for every one.

Very nice park to relax in with water, birds, fountains, hot dogs, bridges, paths, bikes, places to lock your bike, restaurants and nature. I saw a heron wigging out on it's nest!

One of the best parks I've been to. There's so much space and the paths are large enough to accommodate any amount of runners and bikers. It's the perfect place to bring some cheese & wine and enjoy the day.

Beautiful park! Whether you want to sit in the sun and get a tan or find some shade have a few beers and get on the sesh, you ll find many spots available even during the busy times. Spend a couple hours here just chilling out and meditating.

Nice park close to centre of town. Many people relax and stay a while here if the weather is nice. Bring something to sit on.

Lots of containers to throw garbage away, so the park was not so littered. Many other parks were unfortunately full of garbage. Hope things will improve.

Great place to hang out whether your sober, drunk or just watching the world go by in a haze.

A big and well looked after park with plenty of quiet areas, cafes and water.

Its very nice to sit in the park and enjoy a drink or some snacks. Its big enough that even with so so so many tourists it never seems too full. Running or going for a nice walk is always possible!!

I was super mad at my boyfriend and this cool park did really smooth my mood. Nice dark-broken trees in the water.

A place with a lot of nice corners to lie down and to chill wit some friends. There are also some nice coffees inside you can go like the Grootmelkhuis with kinds it's perfect.

I love this chilled park. Very amazing atmosphere with a lot of people jugging and cycling. Some may play volleyball and football on the grass. Cute little ducks in the water.
Trees look awesome, and to top it off, the flower work.
Of course there some food carts. I ve seen one at least.

Very nice and big parc, very busy in the summer. Good for a nice run or easeful walk. Unfortunate a lot of people don't pick up their trash so it can get a kind of messy.

What a relaxing Park! We decided to have a walk around here before leaving Amsterdam. It took out the "tourist stress" with the people enjoying the sun, nature, and even a small performance that harmonizes with the park. Glad we took the moment to enjoy this park along with the locals. It's a must to check visit.

One of the biggest park in Amsterdam, lot of playgrounds, places to run, walk... Some places where you can also eat and enjoy life (if weather is good)

Always a great place to go and relax.

But keep in mind tourists tend to go there to get high and eat mushrooms, not recommended for children.
