Lovely place to have a picnic and appreciate nature.

One of the most relaxing spots in an anyways very chilled city

a bit rough in the winter but i bet its way better in summer. Some very cool birds.

Loved this park! Great for cycling and running around or just relaxing in the sun. Plenty events going on during the weekend if you wander through you'll find something happening.

Good park with plenty of people. It had walking space and cycling space. There are a few nice ponds where you can spend time as a family. There is also a child's pool and plenty of food stalls.

Probably the busiest park in center Amsterdam. Beautiful but can be trashed sometimes, in summer often there are events.

Vondelpark is a beautiful place to soak up the sun, go for a walk and hang out with cool Dutch people.

Really nice park and best for biking rather that walking since the huge amount of bikers will scare you if you are on foot. Sounds like a bike autobahn :))
The trees and ponds are really nice and one could spare some hours there relaxing and enjoying the greenness.

If it's warm and sunny, be sure to bring a picnic blanket and plop down here. You'll fall in love with this European park.

Good times. Very inviting. This park is a fantastic city amenity. They're lucky to have it.

Beautiful and large. Winding trails around small bodies of water. There is a great playground with a bouncy house (for pay) and a zip line (free) are next to the Groot Melkhuis.

Great day out, pleanty see and do. Great for picnics, kicking a ball around with kids or just for a wee walk or sit watching the world go by loved it.

Beautiful park but way too much bike! Impossible to walk quietly, not really relaxing. A pity.

That's the central part in Amsterdam, a big place in such a small city. It is usually crowded, but it is really a nice place to go after the whole day's work.

Takes about 25 minutes to do a loop on the bike. Good Little park with lots of playgrounds for little ones

The park is bigger than you might experience: that's because not all of it is accessible to the public.

A nice spot to forget about the surrounding city when you're walking, but be aware of cyclists!

Absolutely wonderful park. Quite large, lots of beautiful birds and people. Stumbled upon a rose garden and a concert here. The day was especially hot and the singer was singing about how the earth is heating up and we should celebrate at the end of days instead of being afraid. I won t forget my day here.

Lovely park to spend time in, way bigger than you'd expect!

It's a huge and a very clean park. It takes a long time to walk it around. it is worth spending some hours of your time there. You can ride a bike too.

Visit this park if you want to flee the incredibly busy city for a while. It's not too far from the center, so you can even walk there.

I love the part. Very quite and pleasant. Many people come for jogging or relaxing or with their pets.

Great park to spend the day. There is concert arena where there are local shows and presentations, with incredible fries. The park is big and if you are looking for a chill place to eat your mushrooms, you've found it!

By choice, I was homeless in Amsterdam, chose to sleep on a park bench in Vondelpark, about 11:30 pm, a gentleman considerably younger than myself, stirred me to wake, and passes me a 5 note, to ensure u could buy something to eat in the morning, was quite touching, the hospitality and kindness to a total stranger,

Vondelpark is a great place to escape from the city. Lots of routes for cycling, running or walking

Beautiful place and nice atmosphere. We made rounds there by bicycles and it was possible to rent them near. Beautiful green area with water and park benches. Crowded with a good weather.

So much of Amsterdam is wall-to-wall urban buildings, while quaint and beautiful, it is really nice to reach Vondelpark, where there is greenery, wide lawns and places to sit and enjoy. There are also quite a few interesting sights inside the Vondelpark.

It is a busy park with all walks and cycles of life passing by.
Favourite thing was being with my partner and people watching.
Including the woman who was kitted out entirely in knitting and crochet, and the bike with the dog carrier.

Very beautiful. It's a shame there are so many tourists making sure a spot is a real challenge to find.
