The forest is a human marvel! It is a result of what can result when man and nature co-operate. The land was barren and is a human-made forest. The forest is entirely eco-friendly has unique flora and fauna. On the benches and pillars there are excellent pieces of art made by the local villagers which are as real as the animals themselves.
There is a small collection of different relics of animals as found in the forest. There is also a collection of the local heritage in terms of objects of daily use of bygone era.

Only open 10 am to 12 noon on Wednesdays and Fridays. Nice lush forest area with plants labeled in Tamil and English, big nursery and interesting outdoor museum items. Careful of the tons of very hungry mosquitoes!

Gorgeous forest and wonderful project afforesting the area. What's especially wonderful is the way they preserve medicinal plants and educate others about the importance of using plants to treat medical problems!

Good
