We finished Kindergarten and are on to 1st grade! I was really worried about my child s reading and writing, but his teaching was very helpful and patient and even helped enroll us into a program called Reading Eggs that he absolutely loved. Definitely improved on his reading and he passed with flying colors!

My daughter graduated 3 years ago and just got accepted into USC s Masters program a year early. She said Connections education more than prepared her for today s college environment.
The teacher keeps giving 0's whenever my child makes below a 70 in which sends my child strait into anxiety because she strives high . When we confronted the teacher ,which also let me add is the only teacher doing this out of all of them. She stated it was because of the investors . This school needs to get it together and stop aiming to please investors and be their for our children.
Terrible service. No one knows what s going on. They sent my child s courses via email. When I logged in to confirm the courses were listed. So I called to find out the next step. After calling and being transferred 5 times they state he isn t excepted yet because the shot record from Georgia wasn t transferred to a S.C. form? I ask why I didn t receive any notifications at all and they said they didn t have time for that this year and since it wasn t cleared up prior to the August 30th we had to wait until after the lottery and try to submit a new form then. If the school is that incompetent about registration I definitely don t won t these people teaching my child!
Connections Academy allowed my children to not only keep up with their work but also to get a jump start on the next school year. They are a little tough to deal with when requesting transcripts and test scores.
My children and I love Connections Academy! One very important detail is you have to be the learning coach. This means supervising the lessons and being your child s teaching assistant. The lessons are tailored for visual learners. The videos are entertaining and helpful!
My child could not keep up with the lessons each day. Statistics was one main subject she could not understand. I can't travel to Columbia or Charleston for those one on one help sessions. She's has to repeat her senior year at another school.
We were with SC Connections Academy for seven years. In those years, my student had wonderful teachers and excelled with the academic flexibility. She was able to follow an academic path that best fit her needs and goals. With the flexibility of working hours, she was able to have life adventures not otherwise possible. The only academic issue we had during this time was a lack of the availability, even at the national level, of honors and AP level science classes.
I have had 2 kids graduate from SCCA and 1 who still goes to it. They all love it. The ones who graduated went on to college and the youngest one loves having a flexible schedule.
Also love the teachers who really care and teach. In a mortar school a teacher would have never called my child on cell phone directly to help her. She knows all she has to do is ask and the teacher will email her or call her to help her with schoolwork.
They are really bad my kid has never ever failed and they did nothing to try and help her I think they should have a better support team
Best decision ever to leave the traditional brick and mortar. My son is excelling . More one on one with teacher. Teachers are awesome.
Excellent teachers, good teaching material, flexible hours ... (students have to be responsible, no matter the age ..)
I went to SCCA for all of high school and loved it! The teachers there are amazing and really work hard with their students. I recently needed my high school transcript for a scholarship application with a fast approaching deadline. Sabrina Raber of the Counseling department helped me with this, even though her work day ended in a matter of minutes. This goes to show that the staff at SCCA is committed and very helpful. Thank you!
We just finished our 3rd year and I absolutely love it! My son has excelled since we left b&m and was on A/B honor roll for the first time!! The teavhers are awesome, the school is great, I have nothing bad to say!!
Connections in itself is a good company however, if you have a troubled teen then this is not an understanding school! They will jump at the first opportunity to unenrol them and then refuse to allow them back in regardless of good grades.
This is my son's second year and we love it. The flexibility and all the resources that are available make it so much easier for my child to understand.
Absolutely LOVED how they turned my son's educational experience into one that he would remember for a lifetime!
Hated connections academy . Hard and I got good grades on tests and lessons and my teachers gave me bad grades in the grade book . Hate this

The amount of work each day is outrageous! I don't see how anyone can get it all done in a day! WAY TOO MUCH READING AND WORK!!
We have been with Connections Academy since we started school 5 years ago. Now my youngest is starting kindergarten. We love it! The teachers and staff are amazing and extremely helpful.

I love connections and this is will be my fourth year attending in October . I used to go to private brick and mortar schools and they never challenged me like connections does. I love it so much!
Too much work you could work from 8 am to 10 pm and still have overdue lessons
