If I was to buy a new Volkswagen I would definitely want to buy it here.
If I was to buy a new Volkswagen I would definitely want to buy it here.
Well they charged me $900 for a problem they could not fix .. Ok ... Then they tried to charge me $2100 for a problem without even looking what the problem was... guess what it costed me $115 to fix the problem and I have kept all my bills and I can show the bills if anyone wants to see... And if anyone has a Vw and doesn't what to deal with Vw Saskatoon there are other really good options ...
Needed new keys for my car. (Not purchased at this dealership.) I ordered the keys and was told they would take 3-5 business days. The quote they gave me on the phone was not the same as what they told me when I got there. I was told it would be $75 to program the keys and the person I dealt with told me they were going to charge me an hour of labour ($180) but was nice enough to only charge me the $75 I was originally quoted. On the 5th day when I hadn't heard anything I called the department and they said that they had already come in and blamed not calling me on being short staffed. Now I m stuck waiting another week for them to be programmed. I would have taken them anywhere else to be programmed but as my car is a Volkswage no other dealership will touch it. I m hoping that they can restore my faith in their services by getting it done sooner as it is very difficult living outside of the city without a vehicle.
Edit. Volkswagen reached out to me and they were able to get my car done today. I appreciate the extra effort! Thank you Volkswagen Saskatoon.
I had great experience at this location which led me buying a new vehicle.the staff is friendly, professional and helpful. I would like to thank Chase who helped me getting a new vehicle. He went extra miles to help and share his extensive experience with different cars and choices.I would like to thank Steve and the staff involved in that wonderful experience. Deffintely a place I would recommend to friends.
My family has always had good dealings with VW in the past having bought a few vehicles and have recently had a view returned visits to check out some vehicles. Josh Epp is very good to deal with and knows his cars inside and out, easy to talk with and doesn't push the sale. Would highly recommend dealing with him if you plan on going by VW.
They were respectful of my time and the challenges from coming in from out of town for a service in these times. When I required more work on my vehicle they efficiently provided me with a very comfortable loaner vehicle. I was able to accomplish all my tasks and pick up my car before the end of the day. I appreciate that they always take time to wash my car for me too.
Tim Usher is a wonderful sales person! Very knowledgeable, down to earth and really listens to his customers. He is always a pleasure to deal with. Keep up the good work Tim!
Super quick and amazing service. The staff were absolutely exceptional and so helpful! Special thank you to Anna, she went above and beyond for me in purchasing my new car! Thank you so much to the amazing staff!!
Nice service, Great price. My English is not good, but there have a guy who named Wen help me a lot. Strong recommend
I had only heard exceptional things about the service at Volkswagen centre in Saskatoon so I thought I should check it out myself when shopping for a vehicle. And I definitely can say I was not disappointed. My experience all started when when I walked it the door. I met with salesman Jay Hudon. I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable and above all else friendly salesman. Even tho I was a new customer just starting to look for a new vehicle, he made me feel like an longtime member and valued customer. I could have asked for a better experience. And will definitely be coming back with customer service like this. Thank you guys for the outstanding experience!
Wen was helping me to get my dream Car. Thats the best shopping experience ever. I like vw anyway.
Great customer service and we know our car is in good hands.
They made me wait all day until closing for a new battery and headlight after having the 10:30 am appointment booked 3 weeks prior. This should have been a 30 minute procedure but they made me wait until closing to get my vehichle back. Not impressed. I also thought that $540.00 was a bit much for this service but the biggest disappointment was wasting my whole day waiting.
Although I have not done business with VW Centre I talked to Joshua Epp about the possibility of a new vehicle when my old one was written off. Josh is extremely knowledgeable and gave me plenty of options to consider when I was in the market for a new vehicle. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle.
What amazing people
A own a jeep a Ford and a Chevy vehicle
But never had the kind the service I got in the Volkswagen center in Saskatoon
My wife's vw golf city is very happy
Thank you so much for the great service
Not pleased with this particulars dealers car network and hiring/staffing. I don't care for the EPA investigation and fines regarding VW Diesels.
Definitely the cheap entry level brand of the umbrella group of Audi, Porsche, VW
We recently had the opportunity to deal with Mitchell Boutin at Volkswagen Saskatoon. Fantastic experience. Mitchell was great to work with and we would highly recommend going to see him for your next VW. Thanks again Mitchell!
Went in to buy a Touareg and Jay Hudon helped me out. He was the best I have ever had, honest and fair. He knew his product and didn't have that usual BS speech you hear from other people. Do yourself a favour in life and go see him!
Avoid this dealership at all costs. I bought a brand new car from them in 2014 and recently sold it for a Toyota because I couldn't put up with the terrible service any longer! I took my vehicle in for regular maintenance there and they often would try to get me to pay for work they did that I didn't approve (as well as not complete work I asked them to do even though my car had been there all day). In general the communication was horrible. More then once I got a call at the end of the day saying they needed to keep my car overnight in order to finish up a routine oil change! Totally not acceptable. Stilling waiting for a call from the manager to talk about issues and concerns I had with the service I received (going on 4 months now with reminder messages from me left on his voicemail.. I give up) overhead the staff say they would never "waste" their money on a Volkswagen and that they don't trust the people in the service department (something about an unqualified relative being hired...) No way I could trust taking my car there anymore. Still waiting on promises that they used to sell me my car.. new building was supposed to be built in 2015 but never heard anything about it again once they had my money. Really disappointed with my experience here. I will never by another Volkswagen again.
Great experience here with the guys at VW center of Saskatoon from the guys who start it off in sales like Josh, Bill and Steve to the Finance guys like Ryan, Travis, and RJ to the service team such as Jeremy and Keith I've always had a great experience with you guys thanks!
Rick Riffel the new general manager is a beacon of integrity in the automotive industry. His knowledge and values are key components to a very pleasant car buying experience.
I appreciated being treated respectfully as I outlined our concerns and the speed with which things were assessed and dealt with.
Purchased my first car through VW and couldn't be happier with the service I received. The salesman that helped me out, Lyndon, went above and beyond to ensure that all my questions and concerns were answered/addressed. Nothing but good things to say about the company and the team!
Although I don't live in the area, I called to inquire about buying a vehicle from Volkswagen Centre. Jay Hudon did not just go above and beyond to answer all of my questions, but he was kind enough to make me feel just as important of a customer whether I was physically there or not. Customer service stems not only in person, but over the phone, too. Thank you Jay for your outstanding service!
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I went to volkswagen thinking I would trade in for a new vehicle, the offer they made me was nothing short of ridiculous, a good 10,000 less than the trade in value. On top of that I had only a few hours to scoop up such an "amazing deal", because apparently they were "doing me a favour". The salesman didn't have any pertinent information other than my biweekly payment and only when it neared the end of the month did they even try to run a legitimate offer past me.
I've had great experience with Josh! He's very knowledgable and pleasant. So if you need to buy a car, go see Josh!
Kelly, the sales manager, is fantastic to deal with...I have now purchased two vehicles (one used and one new) from Volkswagen Centre of Saskatoon and highly recommend dealing with Kelly if you can!
When I went in to shop around for a new vehicle the attendant was very informative and helpful. He had a good answer for every question I threw at him and was very knowledgeable about every model. Thanks Jay Hudon for all of your help!
The customer service was astonishing. My problem is not paying the price I was told I would be paying. I was told I would be paying 2.9% interest. Instead I'm paying 5.22% on my vehicle and was not given the all the papers after the finance was complete.
Jaramy bacon is the man! Helps me without question every time! The only reason I still have a powder blue beetle!
If I could give this place no stars, I would. Worst service experience I've received my entire life both from sales and service department. To start my sales person was pretty much clueless about the car and its specs when I was test driving it. Even with a simple question as does the car have bluetooth? The deal itself was long and painful, as the salesman was always playing messenger with his manager all night. In a full hour, we've seen our salesman for a total of 8 min probably. I was trading my car in, and I was offered an absurdly low price, and nickle and dimed on every detail. I guess that's their job however, once I bought the car, I was no longer given any time of day, treated with any respect, or shown any kind of courtesy. To give you an example, when my car was given to me, I was given only one key and promised the spares shortly after. I waited a month to get those keys, and without batteries in them. When I confronted the salesman who sold me the car, I was told its not their job to give me the keys with working batteries and its my responsibility to do that. That's also after I received my new car, with the worst detailing I've seen. To quote another review I read on here, "it was like a blind man did the job." The seats were disgusting and stained. They told me to bring it back in a week, and they'd steam clean the seats for me, like it was a big favour. I then had to take more time out of my day, get shuttles back forth, to do this. Ill move on from the constant negligence that happened EVERYTIME I needed something, and go on to the worst. My first oil change, I was given the car back with a crack in the windshield. A small crack, however, living in a province where the cold could freeze hell over, it quickly spread across my entire line of sight. After arguing back and forth with the manager, I was given a 'deal' for replacing the windshield for only 50% off. What a steal! Every time I've gotten this car back from the shop, I've ended up with further expenses from unexplained faults. ie, now I have a car that doesn't have proper flowing windshield whipper fluid. I'm not even gonna bother going to them and making a complaint, because I know their going to try and place the blame on me somehow. In conclusion, if you like being bent over, and taken for a ride, while someones taking money out of your back pocket, then the Volkswagen Fun Motor Group Dealership is the place for you. Lost business for sure. I won't be going back even for an oil change.
Always the best..... nice friendly staff and happy people thanks for all you do VW
We recently had some concerns with the service we were provided at VW Center of Saskatoon. I reached out to Steve Molinelli new car sales manager with my concerns. He took my situation and turned it into the best experience I could have ever imagined. My expectations were not just met but exceeded. Steve handles him self with integrity and class. The Funn Motor Group should be proud of what Steve does for their brand!! Thanks Steve.
I went into to Volkswagen Centre of Saskatoon to take a look at my options in terms of replacing my vehicle, & possibly trading it in. & was helped by Josh Epp.
Never have I had a better, more welcoming experience at a Car Dealership. Josh Epp is truly a knowledgeable, thoughtful & caring employee of VW & made my visit a stand out experience in my 2016 year.
VW consistently messages me and I feel harassed to purchase a new car. I have informed them that I am not interested in messages or a new car over 10 times in the last year and continue to receive phone calls and emails. When I do get a new car, it will not be with VW due to this treatment.
I have been going to Volkswagen Centre for years and have always had a great experience, I have purchased 2 vehicles from there and the sales team was great, parts people are friendly and service is prompt and knowledgeable. one of my vehicles in not even a vw and they are still able to perform any work I have requested to date. weather you drive a vw or another brand I would recommend this place to anyone :). thanks again vw Saskatoon for your awesome work. see you at my next service!
the staff at the service counter are very helpful and friendly and the shuttle drivers are awesome.
Customer service on the phone is terrible. That is if you get them to answer the phone.
I phoned about a trade in for my 2011 Jetta several times with information I saw on a kijiji ad to speak with Tim or Chad. I was transferred several times and each time was told they were busy, so i just asked to speak with someone in sales. The salesman I spoke with was extremely rude with absolutely 0 telephone etiquette. Speaking with that sales rep was enough to make me go to another dealership. Id steer clear of these guys, total bad vibe.
Hands down the worst service experiences I have had with a vehicle occurred here. The service is beyond inept. On several occasions I had my car returned in worse shape than when it went in. One time it came back with a broken windshield and they said I'd have to make a separate appointment to return and have it fixed! The damage was to the point that it was illegal and unsafe to drive with the windshield in that condition and they simply gave it back and asked me to return the next week. After they replaced the windshield I fought with the manager because they returned the car with grease on the headliner - he claimed that I must have done that myself - I told him I don't often drive around eating Doritos and wiping my hands on the headliner. When they gave me complimentary car detailing afterwards it was as though a blind person had cleaned the car. That is just one experience with this service department. If you have someone in your life who you absolutely hate you should recommend they service their car here, otherwise I'd stay clear. Ffun? More like Ffukt
If you are buying a vehicle, of course they will help you and provide service but after you bought your vehicle and you happen to have any questions or need service, suddenly they're not so helpful, will give you attitude or nobody is available to answer the phone! Seriously, been calling all day and nobody is even picking up the main phone. Save yourself a headache and go to a different dealership.
I deal with Mark Sugar for my vehicle needs and I highly recommend you do as well!! He is top notch and a review doesn't do justice. Give him a chance you won't be disappointed
Friendly staff! It was honestly the easiest purchase I've made as far as vehicles go. I'm so happy! Tahir was very knowledgeable and helped us find exactly what we wanted!
Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever as as car owner when dealing with this service department for four years.
Worst customer service ever I have received..Having issue with my car since it was under warranty made 3 appointments to solve the issues but could find root cause, Now my car warranty runs out from warranty and ..Finally they decide to work on car, after working for 20 days on my car they hand me over 3912$ bill ,Tough I have been told that I would not get charge cause this my car having this issue since it was under warranty by my advisor and shop foreman Think Again if u buying VW guys dnt waste ur money...BRUTAL
Well, I had multiple visits to this centre for various reason and feels like my own place. Nice and talkative people with always smiling faces, but this time the reason was to get a vehicle. Robert Patton was the product specialist, he was well organized and humble. I had some parameters before buying the vehicle and Robert with full energy took me to various vehicles and explains. He was the man who running all over the places to get the best for me. Thank you so much for all your efforts and giving me the great vehicle. I am happy now:)
I love Volkswagen! Everyone who works here has always been so friendly and accommodating. They have gone out of there way to go above and beyond for me in more than one situation. I look forward to going there to get service done just so I can say hi to the staff. Being friendly and pleasant is the best way to keep your customers wanting to come back- good job Volkswagen!
Was to have some work done that was covered by a manufacturers extended warranty. They could not make the car misfire on the test drive, so did not complete the work. They cleared the two misfire codes from a few days ago, and then billed me for the one hour of shop time.... to do nothing. Not impressed at all.
Big thank you going out to Mark Sugar for giving our family the sweetest deal on wheels. All of our referrals will belong to you. Das Welt Auto :):):)
Robbie Clark from the VW Parts Dept has always gone above and beyond for me. His demeanor and customer service are top notch! If you are needing parts, I would recommend looking him up.
I went in there 4 years ago to buy a new car cause my old one was falling apart. I was 18, desperate for a new car and incredibly naive when they took full advantage of that, charging me 15k for a car that was worth 7k (at absolute most) on autotrader, Kijiji, and other car sites. Me trusting the salesman, finance manager, & branch manager went ahead with it. As part of this process, I was promised that VW would pay the $500 damage deposit. It was actually written on the contract as well. A few days after I drive the car off the lot, I get a call from Travis Yun telling me I need to pay that $500 all of a sudden and that I need to come do it ASAP. I go to the dealership the next day and start objecting to this out of the blue $500 charge and after getting nowhere, I decided to return the vehicle. Before I have the chance to go through with that, I ask to speak to the Branch manager and I explain everything to him. He tells me not to worry about it and not pay the additional $500. Thank you Travis for bringing me in and wasting my time. So as if this isn't bad enough, you call me every now and then wanting me to buy a new car from there and each time I tell you that I'm not interested and not to call back. About a month ago I sell my Jetta and purchase a Jaguar XJ. I get a call from some salesperson saying he's calling me because they have a shortage of used cars on the lot and want to buy my car. I tell them I'm not driving the Jetta anymore and now driving the Jaguar. He says great, I'd love to buy it from you and at this point I go off telling him to stop wasting my time and to AGAIN, never call me again. I don't know how many times I gotta tell you guys. My name is Rafael Pavlovic. Get me the f*** out of your CRM.
I recently purchased a vehicle from the sales team there. The professionalism and customer service was beyond what i've expected. The way they handled my issue regarding my newly purchased used vehicle was quick and had no problems during the process. And for that i recommend this VW and hope that others who use this dealership experience the same great service i did. Thank you
Great experience dealing with VW Centre of Saskatoon as a business. It's always a pleasure working with Joshua Epp who us very polite, professional and on point with communication.
The people are really nice but they pump you up to get you in a vehicle after they call multiple times saying they want your car for their used lot and tell you they'll call you back with an answer if you're approved or not and just don't call you back. This is the second time this has happened and it's beyond disappointing and frustrating.
Took my Tdi in to get timing belt changed.
Went in starting fine came out not able to start. Tech brought it back in and insisted the timing was good and the injection pump was the issue.
Happened to have a good working one he could sell me.
Eventually got it looked at by someone else.
2 of the 3 points were in the correct position.
Avoid this place, looked into it techs will not fess up there mistakes.
Knowledgeable and helpful staff! Be sure to see Josh Epp in sales, he is great to work with!
Josh Epp has helped me several times with servicing my vehicle and has always been courteous and knowledgeable!
I got my 2012 gti last year from Lucky Singh he was up most professional and polite gave me a great deal on my car couldn't be happier. I send all my friends his way!
Great service, never a problem there. Prices though seem inflated in the parts and service centre. Switched to another repair centre because we couldn't justify the cost versus any discernable difference in quality of work.
Dealt with Kim in sales and she was amazing. Very knowledgeable and just a great person to deal with. I d highly recommend seeing her if you are in the market for a car
VW Centre is top notch. I've purchased two vehicles here, one in 2013 and now one in 2016 from Josh and both experiences were excellent. They treat you amazing, explain everything very well and work with you to find what you want and/or need, rather than pushing you into something they want. And, their service department can't be beat! I can't say enough good things about these guys. I highly recommend VW Centre and will go here again!
I personally know Josh. Even though he is the new car sales, but he helped me go through all the process, I'm very appreciated. Dustin at Service is very helpful. I'm not from Saskatoon, he got my car booked in for windshield replacement and provided me a loaner so I can get back to Regina on time for work! Great people, highly productive overall.
Great shopping experience there! I've been there couple of times for looking a used car, one of their sales Wen helped me a lot, he's super nice and very professional.
Tahir is a amazing sales person I recommend him to anyone
The Customer Manager Wen is very nice. If I have some questions about my vehicle, I always contact him anytime. He is always patient and enthusiastic to help me solve all problems. So I rate him 5 stars.
Don't waste time, energy and unreasonable pay. Just ask for Jay and I promise you'll have a good day.
I got my car from Mark Sugar after reading reviews about him online and they were all true so here is my review to back up all the great claims of his service to get you into the right car with no pressure. Thank you
I've tried to like this place, but they make it pretty tough sometimes. My car battery went dead this last winter in -25 weather at night, so I called road side assistance because I should have still been under the 4 year coverage from purchasing my Golf. But, they told me my coverage had expired a couple months ago. Which didn't make sense as my car was less than 4 years old. So, after trying to boost it myself and then eventually getting my dad to call CAA, I called the dealership up the next day and talked to the manager who said "yeah, looks like it expired early for some reason, but not sure why." I then asked if my 5 year warranty would expire early the next year and he said yes, likely, but not to worry about it because I only have 30,000km on the vehicle so it's unlikely anything will go wrong. Obviously that wasn't a good enough answer, so i pushed him further and he said he would call VW Credit Canada and see what happened. Didn't ever hear back from him. Proceeded to talk to about 5 more people there, most of whom were just trying to sell me a new VW, but they all said they would look into it for me. It's been 5 months now and haven't heard anything, or gotten a simple apology like "hey, sorry you got stuck out in the cold because of this." I'm assuming there was an error somewhere in the paperwork because i had to re-sign the contract 4 times when I initially purchased the vehicle, because VW Credit Canada kept rejecting it for errors, but who knows without a response.
Great staff in the service department! They're personal and friendly. Adam Sargent in the shop is always knowledgeable and helpful.
Had a great time at vw center Hugh thanks to jermany Bacon. For helping me figure out up with my car. And getting it fixed. Thanks
Your representative Jay Hudon was extremely helpful! He really knows alot about making your customers happy. A guy like him is what Volkswagen needs internationally! These guys are the reason Volkswagen is such a fantastic place to get a car. Thank you Jay. Good work.
Staff was friendly but management was rude. Would not recommend
We had a great experience at VW in Saskatoon. Super helpful and knowledgeable. We worked with Josh Epp and he was able to look at our needs and fit us with the right vehicle for what we needed. Would recommend anyone to work with him!
Been dealing with them for 8 years. They start out amazing but once they have you it all changes. From overcharging on everything and anything they can get away with to ignoring customer phone calls they have become one of the most 2 faced companies I've ever dealt with. They will tell you they want your trade in and guarantee putting you in the vehicle you want without being able to follow through. I am a Die Hard VW fan but whether it be lies or incompetence, its driving me away. How is one car with 80,000km on it worth the same/more than the SAME CAR with 30,000km in the same amount of time? Sales guys are good management not so much...
Jay hudon took us on a test drive and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and was not pushy.
I'm glad to be a part of the team at Volkswagen Saskatoon, the value in a VW is a must experience, come down and ask for Mark Sugar - drive it, you'll get it! Das Welt Auto
If you want to waste your money? Here is the best place ever. They will charges for you everything! Even if they can't find a reason.
I was referred to Wen by a friend when I was looking for my first vehicle. He helped me through out the whole process of making the choice. He gave professional suggestions and recommendations when I had literally no idea about cars. Though I didn't end up buying from him, (VW doesn't seem like my style)I would still refer friend to Wen cuz he seems really reliable and trustworthy.
Recently went to VW to look at cars and had Jay Hudon help me out. Jay was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He took his time with me and was by no means pushy. I would recommend Jay to anyone looking to purchase a new car!
I bought a vehicle from Wen Sun last year, it was great experience, all staff are friendly, Wen not only help me get into my vehicle as a new comer to Canada, but also arrange service appointment, pick up my call instantly when I need help during weekend, and he get me a lot of the info about the life here in Saskatoon. I really appreciate his services, I would refer my friends and family to them if one buying a vehicle.
The worst experience I had was given me a certified car. with bad battery, then exploits the oil filter, is now liquidating engine oil takes two weeks in the workshop. the worst mechanics. I do not recommend them at all.
I've never put an online review before because I think that is not necessary at all. But this time, a guy who works at VW Center at Saskatoon made me changed entirely. A Chinese sales whose name is Wen helped me getting knowledge on VW vehicles which I have the feeling that in the near future, I must have a VW vehicle and I may stick with VW for a long time. Good service, excellent knowledge, great experience over there. Many Thanks. I would recommend all my friends whoever need a vehicle to VW center at Saskatoon.
I recently (May 31st) purchased a new vehicle from VW Saskatoon. The staff I dealt with (Brett, Ryan, Travis, RJ) were great. After test driving some vehicles from other dealerships it was refreshing not having pushy staff. Brett was available whenever I asked to come look at the cars, and just generally very easy to deal with.
I've had the vehicle for a few weeks now and had a minor issue with the car, which was covered under warranty. The service department was also easy and pleasant to deal with. They booked me in, did the work, and got me on my way.
Overall I'm very happy with the car and the service so far.
I was dealing with Jeremy and all the questions I had, he answered. It is a good place to get all your Volkswagen needs met.
Truly a pleasure to deal with, and I will be back, even if it's just to upgrade my vehicle.
