The VHS offers a wide, diversified offer. Especially rare languages, such as Hindi, one can learn. There is something for everyone. Dedicated employees. Unfortunately, when the lecturer of my course became ill, I was canceled by e-mail and by phone. Due to the central location I was able to reach my course well in the evening. I have been very happy!
Goodwill is a foreign word at the VHS Freiburg. Lt. Internet information, written notice must be given within 2 working days after the first day of the course. Relevant is the date of receipt. Assuming normal mail, you would probably already know before the first day of the course, if you want to quit, because in the evening hours the post would probably only sent on the following day and then unfortunately the date of receipt exceeded ... Lapidare answer on the phone: 'You would have Yes, can terminate by phone ... ', which lt. Internet information is not and probably arbitrarily interpreted. Service orientation is something else ... sure the last course here ...

The quality of the instructors varies widely, from excellent to bad. But what is really bad is the administration. There really is no course where you as a participant are not subject to annoying administrative errors. In a city of education like Freiburg there should not be such a bad administration at a VHS!

Volkshochschule Freiburg offers a very wide range. Something for everyone. Good speakers and nice staff. Looking forward to my next course at the VHS. Maybe you will see yourself there.
Personally, I would NOT recommend the Rhetoric Course to ANYONE! The rhetorician herself is very dubious and by no means objective. These skills should actually be a prerequisite for a rhetorician. The lecturer is not able to use rhetoric, moreover I was restricted to my nationality and confronted with racist remarks. It's not the money for this lecturer: Woman: S-H.
