I just had the worst experience with Vodafone. This company is not suited for professionals who have to travel and may not fit into their very narrow scope of service. I terminated my contract in the summer, because I moved out of the country. My mail was forwarded to another place, which then sent mail to me. I received puzzling bill from Vodafone and tried to contact them in any way possible. I could not contact them through my account as they never gave me the codes necessary to log in and as hard as I tried, I could not obtain them from Vodafone, because there is just no way to contact them. I could not contact them through messaging, as it asked me to log into that same account first. Answering their email only lead to my email bouncing back, because it is a "no-reply" email. Calling was impossible, the phone number only works if called from a German phone. I finally gave up and when I was near Germany, I drove 1,5 hours to a Vodafone shop! There they explained that these were residual bills before closing the account. I paid it the next day. Some days later, I received a an email from a collection agency! This was after Vodafone would have received my payment. I sent the collection agency evidence of my payment, both by email and registered mail, but a week later they still haven't responded. I again DROVE 1,5 HOURS to a Vodafone office!!!! They told me that nothing can be done. I had to pay the bill AGAIN, this time to the collection agency, and all the penalties, which pretty much tripled my bill. If I did not, the extortionist collection agency Vodafone employs would instantly increase my bill even further by additional penalties. DO NOT DEAL WITH VODAFONE, you've been warned!!!!!!!!
