We loved the trip. Denison was a fantastic guide and we appreciated also his great knowledge of geology, geography and the river. Thank you Brandy for safe and efficient transportation.

Absolutely loved every minute of my experience rafting. Pick Jessie for your guide if possible and you will have an fun as well as safe trip.

We did the Brown's Canyon about a week ago. Although was down a bit (end of summer), Drew made the experience great for my family. 3 of the 6 had never been on river rafting trip and they each had a great time. TAC is awesome and I would recommend them! Five stars!

Amazing guides! Went on the full day rafting trip. The rapids were great. Even the lunch they provided was good. Will be heading back next season.

Used them twice over 2 years. Brown's can canyon both times. They gauge your ability well and push it with out going to far!

We did the Browns Canyon 1/2 day trip. The trip started about an hour later than scheduled as the morning trip ran long, however Curt made the wait less painful. Our bus driver Katy was absolutely a joy! Our guide Becca was very knowledgeable, she was a little short with us trying to get the paddling down and when we got stuck on a rock we were all trying to cooperate to help get unstuck and she was getting frustrated at us telling is to take it seriously (which we all were) but overall the experience was enjoyable

The Adventure Company was fantastic! The customer service in the office was great, everyone was very nice. Our guide, Luke, was experienced and patient with our family as we were on our first whitewater rafting trip. He taught us everything we needed to know in a quick and efficient manner so that we could enjoy the trip to the fullest. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for some adventure while in Colorado!

We did the Brown's Canyon 1/2 day Trip. It was will worth the money and we had a blast. The perfect combination of calm waters and intermediate rapids made it fun since we've never white water raft before. Our guide Paul was so awesome and so knowledgeable. He contributed in making it a fantastic all around trip! I highly recommend it, if you ever get the opportunity.

We did a rafting trip with them. It was our first time. It was so fun! We really had fun and appreciated the attention to safety that they had. Our guide was great to talk to as well.

They are very polished with their service! I took my 10 yr daughter and 13 yr old son and they had a BLAST. They picked us up and dropped us off in Breckenridge. All I can say AWESOME!

Our raft guide for Super Brown's was an extremely experianced James along with Tom in the safety boat. James warned us of all the dangers associated with the activity we chose and coached the group on how to maneuver the boat and how to keep ourselves safe for the trip. James and Tom guided us perfectly through the highest and fastest rapids of the season without anyone falling into the river or getting hurt. Lunch was much better than expected with the grill that the company packed for us so we could have hot fajitas. Overall the best rafting trip I've taken.

We took our family on the intermediate half day trip with Lee....what a blast...Lee made the adventure so fun - shared great information about the river and all that is around it and gave us a great time on the water. Even in the rain, they day was perfect - Thank you Lee for such a great day - we will definitely be back sometime....

Had a great time with this company! Will definitely go through them again. Loved the tid bits of info that Kara gave us on the bus rides and our guide, James, was great! A wonderful first rafting experience for me and my 2 daughters and second for my husband!

My wife and I did the full-day rafting trip. Curt was our guide. Thoroughly enjoyed. We were here and did the same trip three years ago and enjoyed it so much we came back. Highly recommend!

Great time!!! The rafting guide was a blast and hilarious, and was very informative about the area. Prices are a little higher than I would like, but was still well worth the money. Look forward to going here again. Highly recommend buying the picture CD too, a good value.

8/5/17 - Great experience, this was our first time white water rafting! All the staff was very informative, up-front, and down to earth. We did the Numbers trip and our guide Henry was awesome! Henry told us all about the river and what to expect. We would do it all again, loved it!

The Adventure Company was fantastic! We did the full day Browns canyon tour and our guide, Eric, was amazing and made sure our group had a great time! I can't say enough good about this company. I would recommend this company to everyone and will be coming back.

I felt completely safe in the boats and under the guidance of Drew our guide. It was a great half day trip on the Arkansas thru Brown Canyon. Beautiful and exciting!

We had a great experience in the Milk Run with our awesome guide Nate, our 4 and 7 year olds and grandma. Super friendly. He made them feel safe but also let them play in the water.

Great staff. The guides are fun and the experience provided is on par with the best.

Great guides, they sanitize the wetsuits, and the bus ride was fun. One issue. Disorganization. They need to give the safety talk BEFORE everyone is in black wetsuits and life vests and splash jackets, in the sun, with no shade in sight. Fix that and would be 5/5.

Loved our experience from start to finish! I have been several times with this company and they never disappoint. Our guide Lee was amazing and the staff was helpful and friendly! Our gear was clean and sanitized afterwards! The owners are great people! The weather was perfect. We will certainly be back again!

The whole family had a great time on the Milk Run. It's a very calm ride which was great for our 3 year old and 6 year old but our 14 year old loved it too. The guides are incredible and the scenery is beautiful.

After much research we selected The Adventure Company for our whitewater rafting trip and we were not disappointed. We took the Brown's Canyon trip and it was absolutely amazing! Our guide, Nate, was great very professional and made us all feel safe and excited. Not only did he do an excellent job of guiding us down the river but he also gave us interesting nature and historical facts during the slower waters. We went in the morning during the middle of June and rented the entire wet suit package which I thought was well worth the minimal expense as we really did not get cold at all. The morning trip was great because we didn't see any other rafters except our group. And I was glad we picked the Brown's Canyon trip because it was very beautiful and scenic. I would highly recommend this company. The entire staff were great .don't have enough nice things to say!

From start to finish this was an experience to remember.

Starting with transportation From Breckenridge James was an excellent driver. He was friendly and engaging as if he was driving his own family.

Upon Arrival at The Adventure Company office in Buena Vista, CO we were greeted with smiles and professionalism. The package we purchased included lunch served by the staff.

After a pleasant meal we were suited for wetsuits, boots and splash jackets which were optional but included in the package we chose. They also fit us with PFD's and helmets which are required for obvious reasons.

Once we were geared up and ready to roll everyone was on the bus to the river.
Once at the launch site Tim (our raft guide) went over all necessary safety guidelines. We were rafting with kiddos also, two 7yr Olds and a 9yr old. Tim took special care in making sure the little ones understood the instructions as well.

Then the fun began! Once on the river and passing through Browns Canyon the thrills and excitement formed permanent smiles on the faces of all.

With a passion for what he's does and experience to make the right decisions in a moments notice while navigating the white waters if the Arkansas River Tim should definitely be your guide.

White water rafting is not an activity that should be taken lightly when it comes to safety and experience while choosing an outfitter.
The Adventure company doesn't use rookie guides, they use experienced guides and tweek them to be the best.

If your looking for an awesome experience like the one we had, I highly recommend The Adventure Company and definitely ask for Tim as your personal guide.

We used The Adventure Company to go white water rafting twice during our week stay in Colorado. The first trip was their Brown's Canyon trip. It was nine miles over two hours, with several class three rapids that were a lot of fun. We were able to take all seven of us on this trip, and it was a lot of fun and not too challenging for anyone. Brant, our guide, was hilarious and very professional.

A few days later, we went with the Adventure Company on the Numbers rapids. We did the afternoon trip, so we went though Numbers 1 - 7 (which included several other rapids such as 1.5, and more). This trip required a lot more effort as the rapids are more continuous and class four. Eli, our guide, was also very professional and funny. There's not as much time to talk on this trip because of how continuous is was, however, we stopped several times to check out cool features and even dive through a hole in a rock into the river.

Overall, The Adventure Company was a great choice for our vacation. There are a lot of big companies in this area that offer white water rafting, but The Adventure Company in Buena Vista was exactly what we were looking for.

On a last note, if you and your group haven't done any rafting or kayaking before, I highly recommend the class three trip to Brown's Canyon before a higher class rapid trip like Numbers.

Awesome experience. It was my family s first time white water rafting, and the guides made this such an awesome experience. We recommend starting early in the day like we did because it started to get pretty hot towards the end of the trip.

Great whitewater rafting experience. They are very organized and friendly. Our guide Tom was awesome - shared lots of information and history during our Brown's Canyon ride. They have their act together and very affordable. They were also great with our kids - age 9 and 7.

Just completed a private, 3-day rafting and camping trip with James and Alex (Blueberry) and it was an incredible experience. The food was great, informative guides, and safety was their number one priority. Could not have asked for more.

TAC has raft guides that are skilled and enjoy what they do. Clean restrooms, private changing stations, and an overall great experience. Valdez is great - he made sure we were safe but also showed us how to have fun and learn new skills! Great family trip.

We had a blast. Our guide Eric was perfect. He built up a rowing team and got us all in sync very quickly. Pointed out all of the cool stuff of Brown's Canyon and was a very nice guy. We all had a blast. I highly recommend this company. Chris

Full day trip with Kotty as our guide.This was the highlight of our vacation! Level 3 whitewater was perfect for our first time. Lunch was fantastic and all the guides were fun, knowledgeable and super experienced. Gear was sanitized and we never felt unsafe (even when one of us fell out of raft - Kotty is quick to retrieve any swimmers !) Thank you from the KC crew!!!! We will be back!!

The guides were super fun, and knowledgeable. They got us through every feature with finesse, ultimately avoiding losing anyone or capsizing; we did not even have to high side.

The gear there is very nice, an overall-style wetsuit with a splash jacket that goes over that (plus booties and gloves are available), and on top of that there's your PFD and your helmet which has a baseball cap style tightening system. Your clothes underneath /do/ get wet regardless of how tightly you make all of the jacket's straps so I recommend a swim suit and quick-wicking T-shirt.

The meals they provide for lunch (if you're going on a longer trip) are very, very good. Today we had fajitas, PB&Js, salad, chips and salsa, brownies, and lemonade. All made right there, quite quickly.

Hopefully you get in a raft with Corey! Very knowledgeable about the river. He was consistently pointing out local facts, unique rock formations, and made sure we all had a blast. We did the a.m. adventure for intermediate fun and it was perfect. He did a great job leading our read so that we had some good splashes but didn't even come close to getting stuck or going over board.

Both Tom and Evan were awesome guides. They were masters on the water and very friendly. Ginger was very helpful too. The full day was a great success for our family. The fajita lunch was a huge bonus.

We did the Brown's Canyon 1/2 day trip and it was a perfect mix of calm water and rapids. Our guide Mike A made the trip fun and gave us a great overview of the history and geology in the area. I liked how The Adventure Company was a smaller company than the previous raft trips I'd been on. They were helpful, responsive and took the times to learn our names. Their COVID adjustments helped me feel comfortable while still getting out and about. I can't wait to come back again and try an all day trip - I heard the on river lunches are outstanding! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

This was our first time white water rafting. However, our guide Spencer was a great teacher and very knowledgeable on all of our questions. Even the dumb ones. I would definitely come back to raft, but earlier in the summer when the water is higher

At the Adventure Company, they provide exceptional service to provide an incredible rafting experience. Rafting in the beautiful Browns Canyon for little less than two hours on some intense Class III water, with a lunch break of wonderful hot chicken or beef burritos, not your average cold cut meal, then continuing on for another hour or so depending on conditions is very tough to beat. With the professionally trained and very experienced guide in every boat, the high schoolers we took on the river felt safe and were able to experience the joys and thrills of the river. Wonderful customer relations and support with great photos of your raft to boot! I would go back and raft with them every time I am in Colorado.

Last weekend I rafted with The Adventure Company and it was fantastic! Everyone there was so knowledgeable and fun--they made the trip for me. Our guide, Heidi, has been doing this for over 10 years and really gave me a sense of confidence. The water was roaring and, I admit, I was pretty scared, but they taught us just what to do and kept us safe throughout the whole adventure. Their gear (rafts, wetsuits, helmets...) is in great condition. The amenities (gift store, lunch, ride from Denver) are top notch. But I'd say it's really the people that make The Adventure Company the best rafting experience I've had (out of 6) in Colorado. I will definitely make them my go-to spot for rafting.

I know nothing about the rafting, but the hotel was horrible. The floor felt like it was going to fall in, there was no coffee in the room, the bed felt like we were sleeping on the ground, the showers were small, I could go on but I won't. The people are nice that run the place, but I will never stay with them again.

My wife, two friends and I did the half-day intermediate level rafting adventure with Dom and had an absolute blast. Dom was extremely knowledgeable and very generous with that knowledge. He is an incredible professional who made us feel completely safe and secure while giving us one heck of an afternoon! Thanks, Dom!

Amazing service! These guides really know what they are doing, we had an awesome time and felt very safe. The guide on my raft, Nate, has many years of expertise and kept us safe through the Arkansas river. He was great with the kids and willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a good experience. 2020 Trip - We just did another trip with TAC. This year we had Karra as our guide. She was so sweet and a wonderful guide. It was our group's first time doing Numbers and she was so great with us. Another great experience with TAC.

2019 Trip -We did Brown's CanyonF Day and had a great time. Our guide, Swanny, was funny and kept us laughing the whole time. TAC is very professional and extremely organized. We definitely will go with this company again. Thanks for such a fun day.

We did two different trips with The Adventure Company. I took five of my kids (ages 21 down to 11) on the half day Browns Canyon trip while my wife took our two youngest daughters (ages 5 & 2) on the Milk Run.

The Browns Canyon run was good for some of us beginners as it starts off in calmer waters but also get variety of different rapids later. The Milk Run was perfect for the little girls as it was calmer and just fun for them!

Everyone had a GREAT time! Our guides (Ross & Paige) were AWESOME! Thank you to them and the rest of The Adventure Company crew for a great time and for the memories made.

As a counselor at Camp Wojtyla, we took our high schoolers out with this amazing company! They worked with us to create a day no one will forget and was the highlight adventuring of the kids' week! They were flexile with allowing us to program our teams on the rafts and to keep us safe as we could focus on engaging the youth, creating a safe, but adventurous outing, and the ability to have great discussions about what we were learning as went. They go out of their way for us and we are grateful to be with them each year! Don't go anywhere else! :)
