Vliegtickets.nl was the only place where we could leave out luggage for our child, and that saves a lot with KLM, where it is essential for the whole family. Tix. and Cheaptickets did not offer this option to Taiwan at all.

First of all, I would like to state that it is by no means my intention to write a bad review about Vliegtickets.nl for no good reason. However, due to my experience with this party, I want to warn other travelers for fraudulent acts where you lose large amounts of money.
I recently booked a flight through the EasyJet website. Once arrived at the website of this party I was forwarded to a so-called third party agency that would take care of ordering my plane ticket.
I have booked 2 tickets and an option for an extra suitcase. After seeing the final amount (incl. Taxes and the extra suitcase) I entered my credit card details and made the payment. Nothing wrong so far, and I went on holiday with confidence.
Upon my return at home I checked my credit card details and to my surprise I saw that an excessive price for my tickets had been charged. This must have been a mistake, I thought ..
However, after contacting the customer service of Vliegtickets.nl, it turned out that they charged me service costs, both for my tickets and for checking in an extra suitcase.
And this is why I want to warn my fellow travelers for these fraudulently business of Vliegtickets.nl: these costs have never been mentioned anywhere in the entire booking process and have been charged from your credit card without any explanation/warning.
In both confirmation emails I received (both from Vliegtickets.nl and from EasyJet itself) the original amount, which was shown in the booking process was stated. Extra service costs have never been mentioned.
So watch out when booking tickets through this website. HIDDEN COSTS WILL BE CHARGED FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD.
Due to changed intermediate flights (which suddenly go 2 days later) entire planning in the water. Then go home. Rebook flight home cheapest option 368 per person. (on top of the price we already paid, but you really want to go home .. Once checked in it appears to be business class. (without consultation) now also not available by phone ..
Outrageous that there is no response to emails. Our flight would have been yesterday. I have been applying for vouchers for a month. No response at all. We had to (rightly) arrange this with KLM.nl. No reply at all after several emails. In desperation, we can still cancel the flight at KLM and now we have to wait and see if airline tickets ever respond. Really super unprofessional and antisocial to not react at all and to let everyone swim. I expect they can go bankrupt any time. I strongly advise everyone not to book there, so that they can spend their time talking to people neatly instead of constantly advertising new bookings. Because of course you can ... I am really angry and feel ripped off !!
I booked 3 tickets for Vienna for a family celebration at Christmas 2020. AUSTRIAN airlines. Now with code orange I want to comply with the measures and postpone the tickets to next year. AUSTRIAN airlines does this through corona for free. But at airline tickets.nl I have to pay 50, - per ticket. I think 150 euros is a bit sour for something that I have no influence on and that is imposed by the Ministry of Tourism and Health. I understand that they have no influence on this with airline tickets, but would say "split the difference" and make it 25, - euro. I'm not going to book here anymore.
As with many, our flights were canceled this summer. Nice promises were made to us about 'easy rebooking of tickets', but we did not receive anything (no voucher) Since then they seem to have disappeared from the globe. Totally unreachable. We've already sent 100 emails, but are always ignored. An attempt to rebook the tickets was also disastrous. Apart from a standard email, nothing came. I advise everyone not to buy from them. The only thing that goes smoothly is booking and paying, but after that you are hopelessly out in the cold and they put your money in their pockets if your flight is canceled. They stole more than 1000 euros from us. Outright thieves and a criminal organization this is.
I wanted to book 2 tickets with costs of 370 euros .. Reservation costs were 29 euros, but the total price was 466. Could not figure out where those extra costs came from. No service package checked with costs. So big finger and I went to another site that is much more transparent and clearer. Tickets were exactly the same price but had now lost 400 euros.

Never book here !! Had booked a flight here from Lisbon to Montpellier, however my flight from Amsterdam to Lisbon which I booked with easyjet was canceled. That's why I wanted to change my flight at Vliegtickets.nl. I emailed them 2 weeks ago and will receive a response within two business days. We are now two weeks away, and no response yet. They are completely unreachable and ignore your emails. Also no chance by phone. Save yourself money and don't book here !!!!!!!!!!!

What an incredibly bad company this is. I do not recommend anyone to book airline tickets here. Already in May I received a message from Aeroflot that my flights were canceled in July. I have tried to contact this company several times. They quickly got their numbers off the website (and made them inactive), they don't respond to emails, and don't even accept certified letters. They are mediators and have a duty of care, but I do not believe they meet this requirement. The only two emails I've had are messages that they can't do anything for me because Aeroflot doesn't refund anything either. I only receive the first message 1 week before departure in July. As a result of which I have my back against the wall and can do nothing more. They offer to book, I ask for this several times instead of paying back. Will no longer be responded to. 2000 in airline tickets in smoke. Lawyer put on it, no solace either because, according to the fine print, I don't have the contract of carriage with them but a third. This company will let you down completely. Bad company, never book here again. These guys seem to be using mafia practices. Again, it is wise to look for a non-ANVR affiliated company (that's where the fine print comes from) that treat their customers more neatly than these guys.
Pay that little more and book through the airline or through Expedia. No customer service no reply, nothing. Got my details wrong and there is no one to speak to. Never again
actually not such good experiences. accidentally booked tickets incorrectly a year later when we needed them. was busy converting the tickets to the dates we needed them for. Not available by phone so tried by email. weeks later no result unfortunately. emailed a lot but it doesn't get along.
Thank you people from Vliegtickets.nl for working hard to solve the problem with the online payment of my tickets so that I did not lose the reserved tickets. Because of you I can now do with the holidays and family! :-)
Well someone else here. Last March had to cancel our trip. Have contacted several times to book these tickets to next year. You have already figured out which tickets that should be and you will not receive anything except every day advertising from airline tickets.nl. Maybe if they let the person behind the ad actually take care of it !!!! I totally understand people never want to book here again. And yes that it is busy I also understand, but somewhere in the past 6 months someone could have rebooked it. So where do you stay with the rebooking? No more airline tickets for us !!!!
I would recommend anyone as much as possible directly with the airline itself. And certainly not via Vliegtickets.nl, they do not provide any service, they are just box fillers. I know there are costs associated with changing a ticket. But the fact that they are throwing 50 euros in it, I think is outrageous.

These are difficult times for many companies and so are also for airline tickets.nl. They are so busy that they do not respond to the mail for weeks (actually for months already). They say they give priority to people with a departure time of less than a week or so. Well, my flight is tomorrow and I haven't heard from them yet. Of course my flight has already been canceled, but now what?
Regardless of the Covid-19 situation, such an intermediary for booking tickets is really completely useless. Waste of your money. What do you get from them for the service that a normal airline nowadays does not deliver as standard? Normally I always book directly with a KLM or something like that and never have any problems with it. obviously booked the wrong date and a bit stressed as I am leaving within 5 days. After reading the reviews almost booked a new ticket. but eventually received an e-mail within 24 hours with instructions to adjust my own rate free of charge via the KLM site. maybe lucky but still wanted to share this good experience after reading all the negative retentions. Vliegtickets.nl will just book your tickets. Any other request they will answer that it is not possible, for example a specification of payed amounts for the flight regarding tax. Refusal of communication with the Arlines in case of query related to missed flights, just telling the customer that all rights have been lost. While the customer communicates directly with the Airlines it appeared that the customer have rights for tax refund and return flight. Vliegtickets.nl all the time give negative reply without investigation or communication. I advise NOT to book any flights with this company Vliegtickets.nl. they lack in service and don't care for their customers.
In February 2020 I booked a trip that was meant for May holiday 2020, then covid19, a trip canceled by flight company and still no money received. Attempted to reach them but unfortunately a phone call and no reply was returned by email. Then the next trip that I had also accidentally booked in February 2020 and it was intended for summer holidays with departure from Aug 7, 2020, 5 tickets! From April until today I have already sent 7 e-mails, and no answer, because of orange travel advice I want to cancel my travel but I get no response here, Bad experience, I feel ripped off by Vliegicjets.nl It's just not normal, bad customer service !!!
Never buy your ticket through airline tickets.nl worst service ever. Not available by phone (phone is off), do not even respond to emails, have sent 5. Nada nothing. Please do yourself a favor and always order via the airline itself. For real. Never again.
Bought tickets with them. Now with Covid tried to contact Customer Service. It is impossible to get hold of them. Have written more then 6 email and no answer at all. If I where you I would stay away from this company as they are only focused on one thing. Sell sell Sell. They have never head of after service.

Very bad service! Do not book airline tickets through this company. They are supposedly unable to respond to your email for a flight change and cannot be reached by phone, and suddenly one hour after the plane has taken off. Ticket booked in September. Wanted to rebook the flight, but no response. They said to prioritize people with early departures. A week and a half after my vacation I was told that they were going to contact KLM to rebook my vacation. Is my email so unclear that they want to rebook my flight a week and a half after my holiday? Scammers. They do sell, but they do not provide information about a canceled flight. Just leave it to your own devices. No one to be reached, no answer to mail, Nothing at all.
In April we would go to NY with Eurowings but like many others this was canceled due to COVID-19. I contacted the airline myself and got back the amount I paid them with PayPal for reserved seats over a month ago. The credit note also states the remainder of the amount that has been paid via Vliickets.nl as credited. After several emails, zero response and still no money back after more than 5 weeks. Vliegtickets.nl has had the money of my tickets in their bank account for more than a month and does not pay this to me. It is about 1700, - They did not have to do anything for this themselves, I did all the communication myself, hours on the phone with Eurowings. All media will be informed about this, because these types of companies should not get away with this, no response to emails and not available by telephone .... Unbelievable!
My flight was supposed to be in April. Canceled by Ryanair. Ryanair has now reported that the money has been refunded to airline tickets.nl. Mail sent to refund my money. Nobody responds !!!!! I want my money back!!! You can't do this to people !!!!
If you call them you will hear the message. Due to busy send an email. There is no response to emails. Sent by registered letter, even through lawyer but no response .. we were going to Mexico with a group in April. Flying with delta, they have refunded the amount to airline tickets.nl only where our money is ???? What remains is to call everyone to file a report.
You pay 30 euros extra per booking! Can book much better directly with the companies, because this will cost you 30 euros extra that they do not return !!!
Joost Leonard has already told my story exactly: The only e-mail I have ever received from airline tickets.nl is an e-mail that, in short, said "Take care of it yourself". They have also had my money in their account for almost a month, but zero response. I do not expect a response, so I am going to file a formal complaint soon.
Booked in December 2019 for a trip to Greece in July 2020.48 hours before departure I receive a message from the airline that the hand luggage MUST be paid. I try to call, text, write with airline tickets.nl 4 weeks after returning home I get an answer ..... and not even an answer to the question. In short: service ROUND BAD !!!! Unfortunately :-(
It is not clearly stated on their website that you will only be refunded 85% of your ticket if you take out their expensive cancellation insurance. Present this clearly at the time of purchase, then you are conscious instead of hiding *.

More expensive than the same tickets with transavia. With the seat choice you pay 17 euros per standard seat per flight and with transavia 6 euros. For 4 people that is 8x11 = 88 euros more for a return.

Less than a star service. I bought a ticket for a flight before 28.8.2020. But my flight has been canceled. Airplane tickets did not notify me of the cancellation. According to Dutch law, passengers have the right to get their money back if the flight is canceled. Still, it's been two months and I still haven't gotten my money back. They don't have telephone customer service or answer emails. I will never buy a ticket here again.
One star is one star too many. Booked flight to Canada and had to cancel as Canada kept its borders closed due to corona. Air Canada offers many flexible options to rebook or cancel. Unfortunately booked with Flugladen.at (airline tickets.nl), so changes are made through this airline. No contact possible, except when we had no other option but to cancel, because the company did not respond to emails or telephone. Costs 500 euros. Settled in a day, but have been waiting for the rest of the money for two months. Since then absolutely impossible to get in touch. Only standard mails. Worst service I've ever experienced. Very annoying that the Corona hits this company so hard and I understand that. What I don't understand is that not even a general e-mail is sent in all those months. "We are busy but have patience." Then I would have had more sympathy for this company.

This company is all but focusing on its customers. I ve been trying to reach them for 5 days now and not a single response back. This is not acceptable! If this goes on I ll try to invoke a third party to handle this.
Worst of all, despite the disdain for their customers, they just keep promoting their products to buy. Eliminate these types of brokers by not buying anything! Let it go bankrupt as soon as possible so that an ANVR and SGR can proceed to pay out all victims. Book with the airlines!
Briefly through the bend. They do not take their responsibility as a selling party, but hide behind the companies they have hired themselves. Very bad experience with the tour company. My flight was canceled due to corona. This is completely beyond our control and through no fault of their own.
Due to the situation around corona, things are now slightly different. Airlines may, under certain conditions, offer passengers a voucher as compensation. However, as the European Commission has stated, the passenger reserves the right to refuse a proper voucher and receive a full refund.
Flight tickets do not address the situation well. I contacted by email about the canceled flight and requested a refund. The travel agency did not respond to my needs and pointed me to a voucher. I have had to explain in several emails that I want to waive this and that I am entitled to a refund. Nevertheless, Vliegtickets has applied for a voucher for me from the airline.
When I point out my rights and their mistake they do not want to recognize them. They seem to hide behind ignorance and unprofessionalism. Vliegtickets is not customer-oriented and does not dare to put the proverbial hand in its own bosom. This does not suit a company of this size.
All in all, I am very disappointed. I would prefer to avoid a booking on Vliegtickets.nl in the future.
After 5 emails and a registered letter regarding a simple rebooking based on Corona, no response from this organization that is only (in) accessible via email. A registered letter also did not help. I have never felt so squeezed.
DO NOT book flights here. They take advantage of the situation and charge much more for flights than they cost directly at wizz-air, for example. See the other reviews, please book your flight elsewhere. The only guarantee you get from tickets.nl is that you are guaranteed to regret it !!
Booked a flight, price during the booking was not consistent and at the end totals things don't add up. Then 45 minutes on chat, now another 10 minutes at the phone... ending up with "we will call you back". Terrible procedure all aimed at stalling me so I give up. 4 tickets to Jakarta ordered for people with 3 different surnames. The site appears to automatically take over the previously filled in fields, so that the last person was automatically given 'van der' without having filled it in. Of course I have to double check that, but I was convinced that I had not entered it myself. Name change afterwards at Emirates costs 30 dollars. Flight tickets initially charged 75. After no change, I called them. Because there was still time, the emergencies would take precedence. Called again later, they now saw that payment had been tried but not processed with them. Now I could pay 95 euros because it is closer to the departure date. In short, do not expect a service for errors that 'Flight Tickets' is partly to blame.
Absolutely awful. I booked a ticket for a flight that got cancelled. They didn't contact we, in fact they sent me an email saying they hope I enjoy my trip. Eventually I sorted it out directly with the airline.

After my flight was changed last minute by tickets.nl, I was on hold at customer service for at least 20 minutes. Then I was told that it would be resolved and if not that I had to call back the day after. When nothing had changed the day after, I called customer service again. I stood on hold for 30 minutes without jokes, after which the connection was broken by flight tickets.nl. If this is the default service then never mind. Oh yes, and please refund 50 calling minutes. After booking and payment, the ticket is canceled. Can happen. But no response to the refund request for 3 weeks is ridiculous. No response and no available phone number. 1 star is still too much.
Top crooks! Booked two tickets with them in Dec for April. The flight was canceled due to Coronavirus. Many times those guests sent an email without result. Those guys just don't respond. Noooooooooiiit more at your big crooks airline tickets.nl
I advise you not to book individual airline tickets anymore at Vliegtickets.nl! They don't respond to anything! Flexibility is 0.0! While code orange applies to certain countries, you cannot rebook your flight for an open ticket and you have lost your entire travel sum! There is no question of leniency at all! I will certainly never book with airline tickets again And also advise everyone in my area the same! They don't like the advice of the Dutch government!
Reading the reviews, I'm not the only one with a bad experience. Complaint filed, after reminding only after more than a week of response. Then only to hide behind the conditions. We were lured with 96 euros and suddenly increased to 134 euros in the acceptance process. Anyway, done. Then wake up the next morning with a cancellation .. . very poor customer service, impossible to reach, bookings are reservations, and therefore no guarantee of confirmation of booking of your selected flight. I can strongly advise you not not not to book via airline tickets.nl. My booking has not been processed, the money has been debited, customer service (can be reached via their business number) is rude and happily transfer their responsibility to their clientele, even if you have a reservation and payment confirmation of your intended trip.
Very disappointing service. They pay for something immediately. Answering questions or getting money back takes forever. Now again: have been waiting for an answer to our email for 10 days and are not available by phone at all. I have a little more processing time at the start of Corna, but I expect things to be in order. We want to know where we stand. Please follow up!
what a scam !!!!! I book tickets to Curacao with pre-selected seats. I pay and a week later I get a message that they cancel seat selection and stay that I have to pay an extra 200 for the same seat selection I give everyone a tip, never book through this site Vliegtickets.nl
Last April I was due to fly to India with my boyfriend. Then these tickets were canceled due to the corona measures. Since then I have been waiting for a refund. Last week I received the joyful news that airline tickets.nl has received the money from one ticket from SwissAir. SwissAir also claims that they never received the money from the third party, airline tickets.nl, at the time. Now tickets.nl says that I would only get my money back, worth 1000 euros, if they also receive the money from the second ticket. Never heard anything like it. My patience is running out!
