A nightmare. The storm sash will not seat into the head rail; a 5/16" gap exists. A call center rep. says this is normal. This person spoke broken English from who knows where. Stay away from this product/people. Andersen Corp. made a HUGE mistake acquiring this line.
Wish zero stars was an option, Bought an EMCO door (Andersen) and was missing almost everything BUT the actual door in the box. Says on the box that "DO NOT RETURN TO STORE, call this number." Yet when I called and said my issue, EMCO/Andersen tried to charge me ALMOST $100 FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS THAT SHOULD'VE COME IN THE FIRST PLACE. That's what I paid for the door in the first place.....now its just collecting dust until i cut it up and use it for firewood.
The forever warranty is worthless. My door info states the door is warranted for as long as I own it. Now they say the door has been discontinued and therefore they cannot honor the warantee
