Veermata jijabai technological institute.Is one of the best engineering colg of maharashtra.Diploma,mtech and btech is available..even famous for textile engineering..production department is also available is anyone is intrested.It is an autonomous institute and fees comparatively with other private clgs is less.But it is difficult to get into this clg.So if you really wana be a great engineer...you have to prove your intellectual skills before you get into this clg.Don-bosco,ICT,khalsa clg are also next to this clg.Vjti have hostel facility and mess,and has a very good canteen where you can enjoy all type of fast food and lunchs.special menus are available on all days..so that you dnt get bored with food..also great care is being taken for hygine..VJTI also has groud for cricket and lawn tennis ..and a wonderfull quad with a kool basketball court in middle of the quad.
So if you are looking for good engineering clg and overall developement of your child vjti is no doubt one of the best choices available in maharashtra.

Worst arrangement ever seen..they were taking 10 mins to push a single que of barely 15 people inside and there were approximately 500 people waiting in the que.

I am a textile student of GCETTB. Visited this college on 28th march 2016.
The textile building is really heritage for the textile point of view. I talk with Dr Arup Rakshit sir, about the college and laboratory. I had never seen the laboratory like that. Which is a combination of both old and new machinery of textile. The lab were really large ....extremely large. Or kya bolu
Hope visit again in the future.

Under the World Bank grant - TEQIP - the institute has several projects underway to establish itself as a world class technological institute. The modernization will offer excellent central computing facilities to students, who will also have access to improved laboratory and workshop facilities. The faculty at the institute is recognized for its Testing and Consultancy work. Realizing the potential of the institute, reputed industries have sponsored laboratories - for instance, the high voltage laboratory, courtesy Siemens; and the Computational Fluid Dynamics laboratory, courtesy B.A.R.C.

Several students activities such as gymkhana, social day and intra/inter collegiate programmes and the college magazine "Nirmaan" serve as a platform to enhance students personality. The institute has also started its own newsletter from January 2005.

Vjti the best college as it is overhyped. One can study in any average college if he wills to. The infrastructure is poor. Sometimes it gets overcrowded and canteen is insufficient as compared to the num of students. Although it has a big campus but buildings are built in between therefore no way of cool winds flowing. Classrooms are damn conjusted. There is lack of ventilation in canteen, halls & classrooms.

A brand, A name and like all old,famous things a crumble. VJTI is famous all over India as one of the premier engineering institutes but the innovation and talent is dwindling. The biggest reason is poor infrastructure. It has since gone autonomous and that definitely helps them in planning and ensuring dispersion of quality education. It has a vast campus with playgrounds and a cool calm environment. The canteen is decent and it also has the nearby five gardens for sports

Want to complete B.TECH in this college after diploma
