Vivanta by Taj - Blue Diamond , Pune Review

Awesome place with a cool pool side coffee shop for a great experience.

Excellent food. Ambience is better at other places like WestIn, Conrad and Hyatt. Ratings solely on food quality which is excellent.

Located near koregaon park, it's a beautiful hotel for dinner and buffet. I had visited there to buy some Christmas cake

Bad things first

1. No bathtub!
2. Slightly different style of daily housekeeping!
3. Five Storeys only! This would have had a lovely view had this been tall as the other five stars. But then it's a very old property.

Now the good things

1. Courteous staff
2. Tasty food.
3. Good view of a century old property and Osho's Pyramid from the non-swimming pool side.
4. The rain shower is innovative.

Haven't been to Vivanta Blue Diamond for an overnight stay. Only for a lunch date with friends.

This is a very expensive place for having meals . Having dinner buffet if worth spending every penny. Food quality is absolutely amazing. The pool side restaurant give a nice view .The staff is nice and welcoming. Vallet parking available.Spa treatment also available in this hotel.

The place was good but food was not that much good.

A brand by name, my first visit place for a late night coffee when I came in new to Pune. As per the brand standards, I quite dint find it up to mark.
Their restaurant on the poolside is great to sit for some calm and quite time. The time I visited this place was the wintertime and I really enjoyed sitting by the pool with my laptop sipping over a cup of coffee. The ambiance on pool side is really very nice with very few table and quite a gap between each table. People who like sitting outdoors will surely love this place, apt for a romantic dinner or a romantic coffee.
The service of this place is quiet nice, their staff is quiet attentive.
Food: Kheema Pav: Good in taste, but quantity according to the price is ok.
Cold Coffee: Whenever I have ordered, every time the presentation is different along with the taste. There is no consistency.
Paneer Butter Masala: Very good in taste and quality, but again the quantity was less. I guess they can increase a bit on their quantity.
Pizza( Non Veg) don t remember the name: The pizza was a thin crust , good in taste and big. Really enjoyed the late night binge.

Still need improvement in lot of areas when it comes to their coffee menu whether cold of hot. They should improve, as TAJ is a brand and not any local place. People will expect good food and consistency.

The hotel experience was nice but could have been better as it seems the rooms need to be updated . The food as mystic masala was just awesome and even the breakfast was excellent . The location is good as well

Good amenities but noise from poolside parties is going to give you a sleepless night. Hotel is quite nonchalant about renting out pool for layenihht parties while renting out rooms just above it at the same time. At your peril

So, me and my friends had been partying till like 3 am in the club so we had gotten hungry... We searched for a 24//7 open place and found this the closest. We didnt expect it to be crowded even at 4 am. But great service ,great food, great ambience. !! The food was on a pricier side, Its by taj afterall. Kudos.

The experience was good enough the service was also good

We were greeted by a fantastic smile from every staff member present at the hotel when we entered. The lady at the reception - Anju was very courteous and warm. She made sure we got a lovely room and were comfortable in the lobby while she looked after the check in formalities. The room itself is nice.

Well established hotel in Pune with the TAJ standard of service you expect, and a extremely friendly and welcoming team. It is always a pleasure to arrive at this hotel.

A 5 star hotel of Taj group ...great place. One of the oldest hotel of pune ... very close to Koregaon park, the most happening and posh place of Pune. Close to Osho ashram and heart of the city. Airport is about 5 km away ...railway station is 7/8 km. Excellent place to stay and walk to food places like German backery ...room rent appx. 8k INR ...good inside restaurants...and other amenities.

Had to walk through a marriage party to reach the restaurant. Restrooms located only in lobby far far away from restaurant -- again walked through the marriage party to reach the restroom.

Amazing ambience. I have been to the Latitude restaurant for lunch buffet, taste of food was pretty good.

We went there for food. The ambiance was great as well as the service. Very kind people. Even ordered a cake for anniversary. The variety of food items may be low but they re good.

Lot of variety in VEG, Deserts, Gulkand Jamun was best.

Very satisfying experience. Dining options are plenty and of very good quality. Morning complementary breakfast is very good and diverse. Room quality is also good. Veey neat and well-maintained. Staffs were also very courteous and helpful. Location is also perfect, near to airport, railway station and business centre. Overall very good experience.
