Vivanta by Taj - Blue Diamond , Pune Review

It is one of the best place for them who have preferences for budget food... I am not saying that a la carte will be in budget but u can try their buffet. It willl hardly cost ypu 700 to 900 per person amd will offer variety of foods from soup to dessert... Must give it a try

I had been there for piano quest last Sunday it was wonderful place good food and good staffs

Place is good but not exciting. Budget spread is good but taste wise it lacks the punch. Starters is not served on the table and options are very limited (two for veg n two for mom veg)

Location is the best part of this local legend, known for more than 40 years as "The Blue Diamond", an already evocative name. Alas, the BD, now called Vivanta by Taj (hard to remember) has let success go to its figurative head: the landscape maintenance has deteriorated (instant turf surrounds scraggly marigolds at the main entrance); glass pastry cases display sugary confections, disregarding the current interest in healthy food; the many restaurants serve mostly standard fare but overpriced. Still, the staffpersons are unfailingly polite, friendly, and eager to help in any way. Going there is a pleasant experience, all in all, but I wouldn t stay there. The dear old BD has just not kept up with the times: both nationals and internationals are looking for more "green hospitality" i.e. more consciousness of environmental and health concerns.

Very good and calm place. I visited the hotel to attend my company AGM meeting. The staffs are very polite. Very nice place to stay at Pune.

If you got money in your pocket then this place is a definitely yes for you guys the fine dining restaurant this just outstanding the waiters and the receptionist are very decent and polite the management takes good care of the big property also I would highly recommend to go on weekends because this place organises Talk shows and various interactive events on weekends. When I went on Saturday I got the chance to attend a lovely comedy talk show it was completely awesome experience.

Chicken and Mutton is good but sea food is below average in taste. Interior is very nice and photogenic. Worth visiting for team lunch if you have veg and non veg lovers with you.
