Viva resorts Review

Literally on day 2 of 7 on my trip and so far, my family and I haven't had really good experiences. For one thing, the staff is rude. I was at the snack bar and an employee literally shoved his hot dog right in front of me (pushing my plate away, so he can get ketchup for himself. He moved and then did it again with another condiment. Was seriously upset about that. Also, asked for extra towels because our shower leaked on to the floor and I had to use all our towels to wipe it up and they never bought new towels. Food is not great.I couldn't even tell you who the "Animacion' staff is. None of them even attempted to introduce themselves. Go to Viva Wyndham Maya in Mexico, this one sucks. OH!!! And the way the buildings are set up makes no sense. It looks over crowded and cluttered.

Fantastic location with unique views, discreet cleanliness and garden view bungalows with furniture to be reviewed. I would suggest more control over the cleanliness of the beach since a friend of mine has cut his foot with dishes left between the beds !!

Very good all-inclusive hotel. The beach is spectacular. You can snorkel in the coral that is on the beach of the hotel. The animation of the hotel is first class, the best of the Caribbean. Ideal climate and good food. Unforgettable vacations.

Do not be scared of bad reviews! There are probably people who always want to complain about something. The hotel is located on a beautiful beach, the rooms are not new, but very spacious and clean, which is more important than a cold and modern furnished room. The staff complied in full with what is always said to the Dominicans: very friendly and helpful. I was with my girlfriend in Dominicas Beach, because of the informal atmosphere and the flexible time we only went to the buffet restaurant. It was very good! A tip: ask for Vanessa from the excursion service, she gave us optimal advice and the offered excursions were really the blast.

Free WIFI ???? They charge U $ S 25 for 25 hours, security box charge U $ S 2 per day ... 4 Estrelas? I had no frigobar in the room, I'm going to upload photos ... in the bathroom they had 4 different types of ceramics between crossed, and some of different sizes not only color, as they have fixed it and instead of changing everything they changed where they touched ... Staircase in the same situation .. Dining a la carte .... they tell you that there is no place in any of them and the day you arrive, so it's like you should book them before .. In the big dining room more than once We were without ice or sprite and for at least 30 minutes ... Very nice beaches, but terrible attention for lack of staff and probably poorly paid for how they serve. On past in number of people maybe that got worse

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in this enchanting place. The resort is huge and full of comfort, really clean and equipped. 8 restaurants, many bars with free Wi-Fi connection, 3 pools and lots of fun. The animation guys are very good and always ready to keep you entertained at any time. The rooms are very large. The food is good with so much variety of vegetables, fruit, fish and meat for any taste. A table just dedicated to desserts really good. It is a wonderful place to come back definitely.

Although it lacks personnel attending the environment is very good and familiar .. the excellent beach ...

We loved our stay, I think we will return.
The beachfront bungalows are really nice with a really beautiful view.
This hotel is of a perfect value for money, as well the large and clean accommodation, the food as good as varied, the vast and airy complex, as the kindness of the staff.
To have better and well it is possible but MUCH MORE DEAR !!!

We were the first half of January with my family, we are super happy and grateful with all the service provided, it is the third time we visited the hotel and we will continue visiting it.
As for animation,
Guys put all their energy and charisma to make us have an excellent vacation. Yokasta, paublina, melissa, Federica, juan, yoki, bayron, franklin, mosquito, show their dedication and passion for what they do, we hold each one of them very fond of. Also to the animators of the Italian company who are very loving and predisposed to all tourists. We are very happy.

The beaches beautiful hotel staff not helpful on the room i got when i arrive smells i had to compel for 6 hrs before they changeed it no towels in the room when the roomupstairs flush it sounds in our room. Fine it do not go whether Europeans food not good need better chief will be posting on all travel website. Phone didn't work toilet was broken. The property is beautiful but for the hotel to be successful everything have to work. The thing is I went to celebrate my birthday

Wonderful Resort. We had a great time. Every kind of comfort, plenty of food I would say too much too good.

The toilet is always clogged .. The room is not the best .. The water in the shower is often willingly or cold or lacking .. With what you pay it seems a nice disservice

Truly very disappointing the hotel. Its infrastructure and landscape is very beautiful as well as the beach, but the tention leaves much to be desired, they sell you a bongaloo for four people where only a couple with two babies could be comfortable, we are three adults and a child and we could not remove the clothes from the suitcases pq there is no space, we have to be asking to leave the bottles of water for the four towels and shampoo that at the moment I could not leave more than two. In bars is half an hour for a drink that is intomable drinks are of poor quality, the buffet is scarce for the number of people who are hosted and always the same dishes in the destination waits a lot of time for a tea and it is cold. After the effort that one makes to be able to take those dreamed vacations, in which we came to celebrate the 18 years of my son and the 40 of my husband, finding ourselves with these situations is very unpleasant. The good thing is to learn from bad experiences so as not to repeat them and, of course, never recommend it. Hopefully someone will use our bad experience to spend the money that I have to earn elsewhere!

Great for an inclusive vacation. Excellent beach and sea ... to improve the fish at the restaurant 'La Terrazza' is the towel race for sunbeds in the morning that should be better adjusted.

Beautiful village. You eat more of everything ... beautiful sea and good people who assist you. We speak mostly Italian. Try the Mamajuana ...

Huge village, we had a bungalow garden and the room is hideous (small, without cabinets and dirty), basic eating (rice and meat never failed). Good entertainers, always present but never intrusive. A very bad Eden, when it was needed it was set back. Beach and sea instead STUPENDI

The hotel in general is acceptable
The food is 1A, that is, worthy of a 5-star hotel

The beach is maraaaavilloooosa!
They sent us VIP attentions and breakfast to the room the first day which was very pleasant from the commercial department.

That I did not like?
Apart from the fact that there was no parking available, the bathroom had mold, the night show is poor and there was no iron in the room they must work a lot with the staff. Perhaps some motivational talk or where the hotel's service culture is communicated to them, because they make mistakes like arguing with customers, responding in a slightly threatening tone of voice and men literally making guests fall in love with derogatory comments.

Overall I would recommend it. They just need to improve a few little things

... until a few years ago it would have been 5 stars, but now the food has become poor with absent animation.

The best is the beach, the hotel is nice.

The Hotel is nice but the food is bad and the service is very bad. The beach is beautiful but we will not be back. Next we will choose another hotel in Bayahibe.

Wonderful vacation spot.
Wonderful area with hotel rooms or, as I had, with bungalows.
The bungalows are simply furnished, but they are only used for sleeping anyway. The bathroom is very spacious, only the toilet is a little unsuitable in the bathroom.
The buffet is varied but not very large. The food offered is excellent.
Unfortunately, very little German is spoken here, which bothers me as a linguist a little.
But it's my own fault. Hence no deduction.
The evening shows are rather boring and rarely in English.
There is a party at the pool until about 1:30 a.m. Therefore, a bungalow a little away from the pool is pleasant to sleep in.
The 3 pools look ok, but can't rate them any further, as I was only in the sea.
Since this year (2019) you have free WiFi everywhere except for the reception. Even on the beach, the connection is quite good.
The sandy beach is great. There are also enough beach chairs available. There is also no lack of shady spots.
Recommended for the medium budget.
A playground is also available, as is a kids' club.
On the internet you can often read what is dirty and defective.
My accommodation had no shortcomings. As a European, however, you also have to be able to make compromises.
Such countries do not have our standard.

The food is good, in the evening in front of the balcony it is quite loud. Between 1 and 3 o'clock at night it goes on at the pizzeria still right. The talking, singing and laughing echoes like mad through the area!

Hello I stayed from 15/06 to 30/06 a family of 4 people spectacular place, sea and beach the top, the food always repetitive even if there was so much choice but after three days I always saw the same eating, the Italian animation absent you appear Michele arrived the day after me and was always active, instead the animation we say of the place very prepared practically they also danced very well from morning to evening the trapeze artists say phenomenal and to say little every time they left me to Bocca open, the room a little dated even for 3/4 days we were without hot water. Summing up I would return and would definitely recommend it.

From my point of view, it should improve the quality of food, drink (alcohol) and the cleanliness of the rooms.
As for the activities to be carried out, tenos, kayaking, bikes, etc. From 10

Positive experience, just enough saved by: sea, beach, fantastic weather.
Structure dated even the renovated part left something to be desired
Problems on all rooms of poor water, hardly ever hot.
Wi-Fi unusable in the rooms.
Buffet food abundantly but of poor quality.
Restaurants that can be booked in the evening slightly improve the level, I do not recommend them.
Christmas dinner: the arrangement of the dishes is beautiful but the substance does not change the level.

3.5 stars well well if you like me not enough money on the sidelines you have to live with what you can pay

I went there twice to go there, very good service, the people are very warm and affectionate. Ideal to go with children and babies. Fun guaranteed at all times.

I'VE BEEN ROBBED. It was the worst experience of my life in an All-Inclusive. Two (2) hours after I arrived, I disarmed my suitcase and left my wallet on the bed, went out to the balcony to communicate with my family and when I returned I had already taken all the money. I immediately went to the reception to make the complaint, there they informed me that security personnel would go to the room. They registered all my belongings in full and in handwriting and made me write an act called "GUEST INCIDENT REPORT" telling me that they would investigate the access to the room and that in 72 hours I would have an answer (enough time to entertain myself). Since I had no answer and it was evident that I was postponed, I asked to speak with Mr. Stefano (apparently the manager) who never appeared, a woman reluctantly attended to me and I was mistreated and intimidated so that he would not make the police report. I was also denied free telephone contact to the Argentine Embassy and CESTUR. Thanks to some Dominican friends in Miami and through the contact of my family in Argentina I was able to be assisted by a Colonel and a lawyer. Otherwise I would never have been able to make the complaints. The event transpired in the place and many tourists told me that within a few minutes of their arrival in the room and in an untimely way they were SURPRISED BY SERVICE STAFF WITH THE EXCUSE TO CHECK IF THERE WAS TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM. That is the way to operate for theft! DO NOT CONTRACT THIS RESORTS !, behind there is a gang of thieves and nobody takes charge of the crime. Marisa A. Gennuso

Structure much appreciated by the Italian market. Sold by several tour operators. Very present animation, music, fun. Good quality of catering and wide choice. Different types of accommodation. Beautiful sea view bungalows. Eye however: they are not suitable for those who are afraid of insects and animals!

Spectacular Resort to vacation, relax or dance. The attention is undoubtedly one of the best and is what makes the stay special and here I want to stop to congratulate the best concierge Viva Wyndham who facilitated the stay I made every day were special and I mean Fensi .. .... thank you and without a doubt with my wife I will return again.

Very nice structure but too big for my taste, our room was a bungalow directly on the sea very nice compared to the houses.
International animation staff, so it is very difficult to follow the shows (however little varied).

Spectacular! Prefer superior rooms to standard (there is not a big price difference). During Christmas and New Year there is a lot of people so scarce beds better to go at other times to enjoy a bit 'of tranquility!

An important hotel complex but well distributed around its various pools, its bungalows. Its spring area includes VIP areas and the central complex with its shops, theater and poolside bar are well equipped. Many activities are possible and the dive center very nice. In summary a very nice place to spend a good holiday in the sun.
