Big problems of cleaning and maintenance of rooms and restaurants.

Beautiful place! Pool and beach just one step away. The sea water is crystal clear, fine white sand.
The nice room, the very good cleaning. They leave you two bottles of water and change towels every day. If they want to use the safe, they charge $ 2 per day.
The main buffet could have more variety of fruits and foods, the dishes are repeated.
The pizzeria that is open from 7pm to 7pm has very tasty stone pizzas.
The snack is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It has pizzas, hot dogs, hamburgers and French fries.
The bar doesn't have many name brand drinks, but they do make good drinks. There are fernet Branca, Campari and Aperol.
The employees are not very attentive, there are exceptions !!

Structure treated with external vision but discreet furnishings with old furniture. During the weeklong stay it was practically an undertaking to take a hot and almost impossible shower in the evening, little water pressure in the whole structure, the rooms in the morning only the towels are changed and the bathroom tidied up and the bed rebuilt, for the rest no type of ground cleaning. The sea nothing particularly beautiful, the palm trees on the beach make the landscape more exotic, but nothing more. No comment on animation, bars with fake drinks, restaurants rated 6, and customer procurers for the conviction behind disbursement of quotas to become VIP customers.

Very nice hotel, restaurants and business very varied. The pool is the best, and the animators even more. The only bad thing is the attention in the bars. Very slow and often had missing ingredients for some drinks. The speed of attention is slow, but not because of lack of staff but because they are very slow. The quality of the alcoholic drinks leaves much to be desired, but you can not ask for much for what you pay at the hotel. The charisma of those who attend, nevertheless, compensates for many of the shortcomings that I have just described. Very happy and helpful.

It does not have enough security for the clients, and they charge the safe, being that in other hotels it has no charge. Chilean passengers got robbed in their room, and that causes more insecurity ... I hope they improve that situation to make it the best place for vacations, because it has excellent beaches, the best in Bayahibe.

What can I say, it was a wonderful holiday, the second to Santo domingo .... This time I chose the Viva, an excellent structure, a beautiful village, a large and super-equipped beach and 1 excellent garden! Plenty of food, even if sometimes a little repetitive, but that's fine ... All inclusive, alcohol, SUPER alcohol, Italian coffee etc etc! Rooms in the standard, almost all with sea views. I recommend you take the safe to rest assured! It costs very little! Mine was 1 last minute, so nn was 1 trip booked with the tour operator, and the room was at the Palace .... I wanted to say that despite having the tour operator THE SUPER ANIMATION OF EDEN VIAGGI involved me in all the activities of the village, almost all free and maybe 1 pair for a fee! I wanted to thank Alessio, the ANIMATION boss, very nice, always present and attentive to the customer! I went to SUNSET, 1 beautiful boat party with sunset, organized by him and then at Coco bongos which I recommend you try! Nice nice! The animation is for me the fundamental "thing" on vacation! AND EDEN VIAGGI has so much of it! Dances, lessons, games, canoes, beach volleyball, endless shows, disco, aperitif, etc. I could almost say NO STOP! Thank you so much everyone ....!

Great facility. Very spacious. Beautiful beach . Clean pools. Buffet was always delicious and something for everyone. Price performance has been right. But ... the toilet flush does not really work in the rooms. Rather sporadically. Stupid if you only get it ... if it is too late and there are generally too few toilets on the area. This is not optimal for the mass of people. That's why only 4 stars. Nevertheless, I would fly back

Friendly all inclusive hotel, many choices at the main catering, restaurants to book are nice too. On the other hand, the servers get rid of the main restaurants too quickly.
But very good overall. Good value for money.

A huge structure, but well organized and with the right spaces. The entertainment is great and unobtrusive. In October there was not too crowded. Small beaches, but it kept well.

my girl friend and me are members and in our mid 60's. we asked for a ocean view Bungalow but we're given a room in the far back on third floor I am disabled and had to demand a room on bottom floor..We requested a Bungalow were told none available that was a lie we talked to guess who checked in afterwards we were there the other guess we're given a ocean view Bungalow so they could get them to join their resorts.They treat members like second rate people. All they want is your money. We set up transportation from airp ok rt to resort they never showed up and the resort still charged $144.24. I forked over $150.00just to get to our resort.The resort was great but they treat American with no respect. I will go back only if I am guarantee a Oceanview Bungalow. The other viva wydham resorts treat us with lots of respect

Very nice place but unattended lacks some improvements

The beach is a nice resort, with many food options. They catered mostly to Europeans but many tried to help us with their limited English. Many activities and every night they have a show (most of which are not that great). Be careful when you withdraw money because sometimes they double charge you. It could be an honest mistake but if you dont catch it they wont reverse the charge. Overall good place just some things to look out for.

Beautiful place, atmosphere and climate. Excellent services and facilities. Friendly and efficient staff.

Hotel area was nice but there were a few problems with the rooms. Not working room maps, not funkrionierendes room safe and the hotel was overbooked. Despite all the infidelities it was still a nice holiday.

Parto delle cose positive:

Altra cosa positiva, il cibo. Abbiamo volutamente evitato la pasta, ma tutto il resto (pizza compresa) era molto buono.
Attrezzature sportive gratuite e lezioni gratuite di windsurf e catamarano a vela.

Avevamo scritto sia al Tour Operator che direttamente al Viva se era disponibile una camera romantica, magari vista mare spiegando il motivo di questa speciale vacanza (anniversario appunto). Ci viene risposto di chiedere al momento del check-in.





Se cercate un po di relax, valutate altre mete.

We came as a family 12 people at the end of October. The hotel reception was very good, we arrived at 15 hours, which is the time that the checking is done. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a properly functioning air conditioning. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are varied and for all tastes. As a suggestion they would have to put air conditioning that they do not have in restaurants. The hotel entertainment is excellent and at all times. Applause for Juan Carlos who received us at the hotel in a very friendly way and gave us all the activities of the hotel. The week we were there was Halloween week with many activities of it. One night we went to dinner at the Restauran la Roca at 10 pm (the time given in the reservation) and the truth is that they treated us very badly, I don't know if because of the schedule or why. The same thing happens everywhere if you arrive at closing time. The wi fi works throughout the hotel and in a good way.
The hotel is really of a very good quality based on the money we pay.

Very good attention!! I only suggest that in the La Roca buffet place fans or air conditioning because it is impossible to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with excessive heat. They should also have more day options for the excursions !!

This would be hurricane season. But the weather is beautiful! Ok .. sometimes a day with rain (max 4 hours) but it stays warm. Plenty of sunshine the next day! The weather in this period is simply unpredictable. We stayed for 2 weeks. Fantastic! The room was fine too. Only the air conditioning is noisy. Earplugs come in handy or turn off. Rosa refined the room every day. Thank you Rosa! Food is super and varied. Only 1 minus point. If it does rain, they would have been better off in a cozy covered place with seats on the main building where we could easily get a drink there. We have had a super 2 weeks here. A true paradise. A fantastic beach and a splendid sea, all-inclusive service with drinks and snacks 24 hours a day, entertainment for those who want it and tranquility for those who prefer relaxation. By choice we only attended the central buffet restaurant, which offered a decent variety of dishes. Our room though, despite being sold as a superior, is decidedly antiquated, with very noisy and non-adjustable air conditioning, no chairs except the two plastic on the balcony. The bathroom works well but needs at least a coat of white. They told me that rooms that start at 40 (all are 4-digit) are the worst in terms of comfort. Ours is one of these. .... but as far as we are in the room ... we would gladly stop for a few more weeks!

We were there for 10 days, on the whole everything was good.
Unfortunately we would have to establish that the Italians and Spaniards are preferred and that there were hardly any German-speaking employees. The buffet was always well presented, but the dishes were always cold and not seasoned enough. And I don't think I should warm my food in the microwave.

It is a very good option in Bayahibe. The complex is very large and comfortable. Only some rooms have comfort defects.

The transfer from the airport to the hotel / airport was carried out by the Blue Travel company, in a timely manner.

The excursion to Saona Island (Super Saona), an unforgettable experience from the beginning with its departure from the Private Port of the Complex in a motor Catamaran, where the staff (Helmsman, Dancer, Tourist Guide and Cameraman), were friendly, cheerful and cordial, the island's beach is very wide with lounge chairs, palm trees, and a country-style buffet.
Return or set sail from Samoa Island in the Sailing Catamaran, with the same staff (Helmsman, Dancer, Tourist Guide and Cameraman), fun with music, drinks and an unforgettable sunset.
I also recommend reserving the video of the excursion (it is optional), since the trip is recorded by a hotel / complex cameraman and then delivered on CD or pendrive.

Our first time staying in an all inclusive and we were quite disappointed. Drinks were so watered down and the fruit juice they used looked like windshield washer fluid. The food was so bad, I found plastic in my food one one occasion and some foreign object on another. My husband got really I'll from the food and was down for days. The room was marginal at best, outdated and things were falling apart.

We took one of the resort sanctioned excursions (booked at the excursion office), horseback riding, the posters showed horse rides on the beach. It was the ride from hell! The horse farm was very run down and the horses were not trained, mine ran right into trees, rocks, etc and I was left with scrapes and cuts. The guide only spoke Spanish luckily I knew a little bit to get us through but they can't presume every guest at the resort knows spanish. We rode through trash water 80% of the time and never made it to a beach. We did stop at a cave but couldn't see anything in it because the guides flashlight was so dim, the only way we could see was to use the flash on our camera. On the ride back our horses ONLY ran nonstop, over very rocky terrain, we literally feared for our lives.

I will never go back to this resort, it was a nightmare!
