Wonderful experience, we just happened to drive by and we're pleasantly surprised. Great food and prompt service. We mentioned it was our first time and the manager came out to greet us, shared some information and a coupon for our next visit. We'll definitely be back!

Food is good at best, has a relatively nice ambiance, and atleast one of our servers "Jamal" was awesome and saved the day! (the reason this place even got 3 Stars). However the event planning is horribly ran, servers seemed frustrated and disorganized. If your going to operate in a customer driven atmosphere, you need to leave your attitude and misery at home, it shouldn't deflect onto the customers. I probably wouldn't eat here again, with so many food choices in the valley why go to a place you don't feel welcome.

First time at Vitos. We ordered take-out, a large half pep/half buffalo chicken pizza, fettuccine alfredo, and spaghetti w/meat sauce and some garlic knots. All was excellent, will be back soon. The female gm was very pleasant as well.

The pizza is alright, the other dishes, which we ordered a few, were also just alright. The server and manager were very friendly and welcoming. We were definitely satisfied with the service, just lacking in the taste department. Pretty average Italian cuisine

Pizza was great, salad was okay (lettuce a little anemic with very little color). Bread that accompanied the salad was not good....cold, not warm, dry, not fresh. They really need to come up with better bread than that....and serve it warm!

Their gluten free pizza is the best I've found!

Edited 06/12/20 to add: I find it frustrating that you can't place an order more than 20 minutes in advance. I just called at 2:30 to place an order for pickup at 5:20, and was told to call back at 5. Online ordering also doesn't let you schedule a pickup later than 25 minutes out.
I am 6 months pregnant and forgetful. I should be able to order my pizza now while I am remembering to, and pick it up later along my route. I feel like they just gave me a three-hour window to find another pizza place. :(

Yummy.

The quality of the food at Vito's is always very good. The service is impeccable & Timely. Louise was our server and she was excellent. We like the coupons we get from Vito's. Unlike others, they are worth making the trip to the restaurant.

Great Italian in the east valley. Not sure if it s the best in the area but it s worth eating here. Service was excellent from start to finish. The food was delicious. I got the sausage stuffed chicken with the sunrise sauce a great choice. The portions are huge! We didn t get a pizza this time but that s what they started out doing. Prices are fair for the quality and the size of the dishes. Would come back again.

We live in North Phoenix and it's about an hour drive from home to this place but we decided to try it and eventhough we got there late, they provided an outstanding service with excellent attitude, great food... we'll definitely be back.

Expected it to be amazing and it definitely was! The hostess and server vinnie was really nice and not to pushy in our slow decision making. Suggest a plate I ended trying and was not disappointed. Bread pudding is insanely good recommend 10 of 10 coming back!

Vito's has been in Mesa since I moved here in 1987 the place never disappoints they have great Italian dishes, their pizzas fantastic, you got to go and try the bacon-wrapped scallops from the appetizer menu probably some of the best I've ever ate. If your here in Mesa highly recommend this fine family Italian restaurant.

Pizza and bread was really good. Service was okay... our server was paying closer attention to the tables with 4 or more. We had to waive her down a couple of times to get her attention. That's a bummer because we would have tipped her more then she would have ever recieved from the larger parties. Her loss though.

Great

Vito's is great! Some of my friends and family love them for their awesome pizza some love them for their staple Italian dishes- I myself love the Marsala, it is the best I have ever had. The layout of the restaurant is a little quirky and the interior has a throwback feel to it. The atmosphere is usually fun and loud with everyone enjoying themselves. This is a great place to bring a large party.

Started out rocky, but got much better as the evening progressed. We were seated at the same table as a random group of young people, and then forgotten for a while. Once we mentioned our disappointment to the manager, we were moved to a slightly better booth and the service was MUCH better from then on. We ordered, and the food was awesome (and lots of it). One thing we found is that there is an amazing dish that is not on the menu (arrabiate). The server recommended it, my wife ordered it, and she loved it. So, helpful tips: ask for a booth, ask about the hidden menu, and ask for bread (we did not get any until we asked, and the pesto butter is worth it).
