Many of the nurses are kind, smart, people that are willing to listen and work around your personal situation. Sadly many of them have left the VNA for better jobs. The nurses left are ridged and so by the book extreme they will discharge you if you miss 1 docs appt. The company, from what I understand is mismanaged to the point of utter frustration to many that work(ed) there. Now when I call there regular number from my house and cell phone it seems to be disconnected. What kind of service is that?!

Mark came out to admit my mom to hospice and was unprofessional and inappropriate. My mom asked if she would feel better & he actually made the comment to my mom that he has only seen one person suffer at the end of their life and that was because they couldn t let go because of skeletons in their closet . Then when I said I was familiar with breathing machine that my dad had one he started asking personal questions about my father who passed 12 years ago . A few of the nurses were very nice but the others didn t do their job . . A case manager was never assigned & they never sent the emergency kit I should have received day one . I ended up calling 911 the day before my mom passed and switched to a real caring hospice for the last few hours of her life . Hospice is supposed to help families & VNA didn t . My mom suffered because of them and their lack of care . I had a mental breakdown and I m scarred for life because of VNA

They did nothing to help my mother. They said someone had to be at home at all times to let in the visiting nurse when they show up. They said they don t make appointments and will give you a one to two day window when a nurse will show up. Normal people can t be waiting around for 48 hours in case the nurse shows up. People have to go get medicine and groceries or go to the doctor. It s ridiculous.

I switched to Always Best Care and have had no issues since. They make appointments and work around our availability. If you re having issues with VNA I recommend calling Always Best Care. You will be so much happier! I was at my wits end trying to find help for my mother and wanted to share with anyone who may be having issues with them too.

The worst service ever The nurses are horrible and the nurse managers when you complain to them regarding the nurse This has been by far the worst experience ever in dealing with skilled nursing services Please run to another company if you have an option

VNA has cared for me and my 93 year old mother several times over the past 5 years. Their service was always excellent. Physical therapists were excellent across the board, nursing staff was compassionate and skilled. Thanks for such great help.

The VNA is an amazing group of people they always go above and beyond, especially Lisa Zidek. She is so friendly and compassionate, I would recommend this company to anyone who needs their services.

I have been an STNA with VNA for 29 years now. I have been asked many times how I have stayed at one place for so long? My response to them is that VNA is a great place to work. Not only do I love my job and what I do daily, I have gained many friendships with my co workers. The care and compassion we provide to our patients is such a rewarding feeling at the end of day.
