1.5 months ago I had my eyes lasered at Vision in Amsterdam and I am 200% satisfied with the end result. I never knew my vision with lenses / glasses was so blurry. The treatment takes literally 30 seconds per eye and is completely painless. The staff are friendly and professional. I absolutely recommend Vision Laser Eye Surgery.
Super experience !! I should have done 10 years ago. Very well helped and they keep a close eye on everything. Saw completely sharp after 4 days. Almost had no problems and the drops really helped. My brother goes next month on my advice !!
perfect! The transPRK treatment has given 3 days of pain, but the result is great. Very happy with the professional treatment and aftercare. Can only recommend it and would do it again!
Unfortunately it was not going very well. Preliminary research was done and they chose IntraLasik Femtosecond method. It would suit me. The operation has stopped after a few painful minutes. The flap would not work well. If I want to come back in a month. Then they try with Lasik microkeratone method. I did not think. Those few minutes were incredibly painful (due to the deeper position of my eyes, they said). Anyway, after many calls I got my money back after 10 days and I had to go through complete rehabilitation as if I had been lasered. So one week of intensive drip with an antibiotic plus artificial tears and four checks within a month. Fortunately no permanent damage. I bought nice varifocal glasses and sunglasses on prescription. That's another way of doing it.
During the treatment it turned out that my eye socket was not ergonomically suitable for the treatment. After good consultation, it was decided to laser my eyes by means of an alternative treatment. Result is above expectations.
Vision Laser eye surgery: what a relief! July 30, 2020 - at the age of 31 - I was helped in both eyes. My strengths were around -2.50-3.00. Now (October 28, 2020) the result is nothing short of fantastic.
To start at the beginning: the preliminary process (intake and preliminary investigation) was already well organized. Clear agreements, clear communication and very friendly people. Information is handled in a structured manner and they ensure that all questions have been answered before you go home.
I personally preferred the TransPRK method so that I wouldn't get a flap in my cornea. Vision recommended the same method because my cornea turned out to be too thin for the methods with 'flap'. On the day of the treatment I felt some healthy tension. This was kept to a minimum due to the professional image and professional working method of the staff in Amsterdam. By the way, I did my intake, preliminary examination and checks in Eindhoven. I also have nothing but praise for the people there!
The procedure is really nothing. In no time I was outside again with slightly blurred vision and a bit sensitive to ambient light. This sensitivity worsened over the course of the treatment day and lasted for 2 to 3 days. Those days I just sat inside with the curtains drawn. Despite the fact that I was prepared for a serious after-pain by Vision, I never had any real pain in my eyes. The 'inconveniences' I experienced:
- Very sensitive to light for 2 to 3 days
- approx. 1 week of 'strange vision' (slightly double; different from vision without glasses)
- Truly blurred vision for approx. 2 weeks
- Wake up at least once every night for 4 to 5 weeks due to dryness. Is quickly remedied with artificial tears; then I can go back to sleep
- At night I see light halos around light sources such as lamps. This mainly happens with dry eyes (eg when tired). I'm not bothered by this. It seems that it can take up to a year to completely disappear
- The FML drops cause a bad taste
The blurred vision is getting better every day and after two weeks is at a level where I can (and may) drive myself again. My monthly check shows that my vision is almost 100%. I did not experience this that way at that time; my own estimate was about 80%. This appears to be explained by the corneal repair process; Visual strength is good in that case, but the vision that I experience can sometimes be a bit cloudy / double.
My 3-month check-up shows that my vision has even exceeded 100%. In other words: I see far away better than 'normal'. So fantastic!
In the meantime I have reduced all eye drops and I only drip the artificial tears 4 times a day. The drip schedule was very clear and it didn't take me a moment to stick to this schedule. At first it seems like a lot - in the beginning even three kinds of drops a day - but that is not so bad.
I live in Twente myself and the service and quality at Vision were worth every trip to Amsterdam and Eindhoven 200%! I recommend it to everyone
Strange company. A day before the treatment, I still have not been asked if it all would or would not go on. After the third (tear fluid) schirmer test, I indicated in advance in the room that the room there was extremely dry. The woman in the room pressed one button (of the climate control) and thought that the problem had been solved immediately. The employee does not understand climate. I have also indicated this later by telephone that the room in which the tears are tested is not in order (read: sauna) and that it is rather a shame for me to travel to Amsterdam from there. That would be a shame for the patronage, I thought. Ms. Carnaval, an employee from Brabant, said that they had enough customers. Is that right? That is beautiful. Because then I do not choose Vision. I have indeed obtained the Schirmertest at a Dutch clinic in Hilversum and Velp. The funny thing is, when I wanted to show research results from the other clinic to test the reliability and validity, they had no interest at all. So in fact they play with your senses and are not open to data from outside.
Facts at a glance:
- First appointment was moved one month (!) Later
- The Personal Treatment is admitted by them that it is a sandwich monkey. An employee believes that the added value is 5% in THEORY. She also admitted that it is up-sell.
- I am not satisfied with the communicative skills of the employees. In my opinion, the Amsterdam employees talk too quickly. Information is all about you.
Do not waste your time.

After long thinking and doubting I finally decided to undergo the treatment. I couldn't have made a better decision! Every day I experience the benefits of good eyes without having to wear glasses or contact lenses. The treatment went so fast! A few hours after the operation, which took place in the morning, I could already see everything well. The first hours after the treatment were a bit annoying given the burning sensation, but certainly tolerant. In the evening I felt reborn. The care and aftercare as well as the checks at Vision Laser Eye Surgery (in my case in Eindhoven) were excellent. I recommend the treatment to everyone. If you still have doubts, just go to the intake. This takes away many questions and concerns!
I m now with a 20/20 vision again. Easy surgery one year ago. Very professional clinic.

Every day I think again: how nice that I have taken the step to let my eyes laugh. I have been expertly guided at this clinic. I chose the LasIk treatment. At the end of each conversation (with many different specialists) you are always asked if you have any questions. Before you schedule an appointment, it is carefully measured whether eye irons are suitable for your eyes and you are clearly told what the possible risks would be. If I can believe the internet, the list that is told with risks is not complete, but the chance that something goes wrong is so small anyway .. That I dared to, especially at such a clinic that is so well reviewed. There are also many mandatory contact moments where the specialists closely monitor your recovery. I recommend it to everyone! It is so easy and you can enjoy it for the rest of your life.

Undergoing the IntraLasik Femtosecond treatment here. Very satisfied with the result. I now see 150% with both eyes with no drawbacks. The laser went very fast (about 5 min) and the staff were professional. I went to Eindhoven for the repeat checks and I am also very satisfied with that location. Vision Laser Eye Surgery is definitely recommended.
I had my eyes done 5 years ago when they were still at a different location. Have no regrets to this day. Only I found the last laser dots painful, when I touch my eye I still feel it. But luckily I got rid of my glasses / lenses.
Must say in Eindhoven was just open, I also talk about 4 years ago. Wasn't I so kindly helped by such a young woman? He kept calling the wrong laser clinic on the phone. Think she worked somewhere else first. But I say, you have to go with this one.
Last October I had my eyes lasered at Vision Eye Laser in Amsterdam. After an extensive preliminary examination I had the treatment Lasek + Personalized Treatment. The treatment itself was not much, you spend longer in the waiting room than the treatment lasts. You don't feel it and after 10 minutes you are already outside again. The first few days I had burning eyes. But after day 4 I was able to work again. I am now 2 months further and can now see better than with glasses. Yesterday jokingly put my glasses back on, then I thought why have I never had my eyes lasered before!

The route and treatment is exactly as indicated in advance. Still satisfied with the result after 1.5 years and no regrets.
In January 2020 I sat with my last set of monthly lenses and I still had glasses of about 10 years old with lenses at the strength of -2.5 and -2, while I was already at -3.5 with both eyes! Then noticed that I had problems with my lenses in the evening and wanted to take them off, but then again I did not see a blow. And my glasses made the image a bit sharper, but it was certainly not ideal with glasses at the incorrect strength. Had also heard some stories from friends of mine who had their eyes lasered and thought maybe that's for me too. I no longer have to buy new lenses, with all the hassle of putting in and taking off, and I no longer had to buy new glasses.
In short, my choice was taken, I would go for a laser treatment!
As soon as I made the choice to have my eyes lasered, I naturally searched the internet with Google. Several providers came up directly through advertisements. Have all viewed these websites one by one. The first results were Bergman Clinics, Vision Clinics and Visus Eye Clinic. Frankly, in my opinion, they are all suitable and have the right expertise, so I couldn't make a choice based on that.
The decisive factor for me was the transparency of Visionclinics with their open presentation of the reviews of their customers. Of course there were some pretty negative reviews between but 99% was extremely satisfied with the results. I considered those negative reviews as annoying specific incidents and therefore did not pay any further attention to them. However, to the 99% who were extremely satisfied.
The prices that Visionclinics charges for the treatments were also very attractive. Some other providers, by the way, were a lot more expensive. But the investment itself was not necessarily a choice criterion for me.
Based on the clear website with good information, reviews and videos, my choice fell on Visionclinics.
When my choice was made for Vision Clinics, I requested a free preliminary investigation from them. Ideal via the website and had the appointment on January 31, so I had to stop wearing my lenses a week before so they could examine my eyes properly. Neatly done and got through that week with my old glasses.
The preliminary investigation was nice and fast and adequate. My eyes were examined with all professional equipment, which also gave me a good feeling about the professionalism of Visionclinics.
The study showed that I was suitable for laser treatment and a second study was planned in which pupil-dilating drops were administered. The conclusion was that the TransPRK treatment was the most appropriate treatment for me. Have experienced these two preliminary investigations very pleasant. Was neatly received every time, cup of coffee and quickly helped by appointment.
A week before the treatment that would take place on February 21, I had to take off my lenses again, which was no problem, another week with my old glasses could save me. The 21st had come. I myself was really looking forward to finally undergoing the treatment. My wife and others found it all very scary and exciting, I was very relaxed myself.
Once back at Vision Clinics, everything went smoothly. Short conversation beforehand to coordinate all official matters. Could get a soothing pill before the treatment, but that was not necessary for me, it might have given my fold better because it was more tense for the treatment than I was.
The treatment went very well and the result was great.
Can recommend it to everyone.

Very nice and knowledgeable people at Vision Amsterdam who explained everything clearly so that there were no surprises afterwards.
The first few days I had a lot of burning eyes and still couldn't work for a week, I am a driver.
But now 6 months further and now no longer a problem, I only need reading glasses, but that's not so bad considering my age (58).
But all in all .... I recommend it, it is not cheap but it is very nice to be able to see so sharply without glasses, something I have never had !!

Through a colleague I started thinking about having laser eye treatment. He had it done earlier than at another clinic, but was very satisfied with the result of the laser eye treatment.
After some research on the internet, I ended up at Vision Laser Eye and made an appointment to find out the suitability of my eyes.
First I was not allowed to wear my lenses for a few weeks in order to be able to make a good measurement. During the preliminary investigation I was told that my eyes were suitable for laser treatment and I immediately made an appointment.
Then the real doubting started because I now had the actual appointment for the real treatment. I e-mailed and called to the clinic a few times in that week. They talked to me well and decided to let everything come my way.
Now a few months after the treatment I am so happy with the result that I can recommend it to everyone. The recovery of the treatment went super fast, the day after the treatment I went back to work.

Worst experience ever at care vision / vision laser eye surgery amsterdam. they blinded one eye completely by laser surgery, and another eye had gone well according to them, but see only 60%, now they deny everything and say that it was because of my recovery, they want to give them another try but they do not know if it will succeed, in other words they have failed to deny their mistakes at least not give money back, this will never be good again. permanent damage and correcting with glasses does not want because of the seriousness of the damage, and they see people only as guinea pigs, damage does not interest them. she doesn't care that people are concerned. it's only about money money money. very incapable doctor and staff. managers accountability is also far away. will never recommend this clinic they may go to hell.

After long hesitation, I took the step to have my eyes lasered in August 2017. The reason why I doubted for a long time is because I was terrified. Despite the fact that Vision is a clinic where they do nothing but laser ... they still give you the feeling that you are "not a number and they take the time for you. The treatment itself was actually nothing. The days after I had some sensitive eyes. It is best to make sure you have an empty agenda.
The dripping after that I found quite spicy, the frequency then; every half hour) but that is only a few weeks ... after that frequency decreases.
The most ideal I think is that I see sharply without glasses when driving, watching TV, running etc. Really fantastic!
For close-up viewing I bought cheap reading glasses.

Great clinic. In terms of treatment no complaints only really had some pain the first days. More than expected actually. I also think the price is really good too. Competitors are often a lot more expensive, but the quality of this clinic is very good. Only a bit difficult to reach by telephone sometimes, a bit irritating.
