This company sucks! They never reply to emails, they never return phone calls and they give you lots of attitude when you get upset with them for not doing all of the above . They charged $70 for lightbulbs when i move out. On top of that they will make you hire a cleaning person and carpet cleaning then charge you for both when you move out. Don t use them to rent, you ll regret it.
33 days after being illegally evicted from the property and I'm still waiting on my deposit for $1100 that was supposedly mailed out on 2/26/18 and then possible 2/28/18 (because they mail them out in batches so Yahira is not sure if it went on Monday or Wednesday). Do not use this property company. Nothing but problems since I moved into one of their rentals 3 years ago. They rarely respond to phone calls and charge you for maintenance requests even though they haven't sent anyone out. The crowning glory was the call a week before Christmas advising me that the owner wanted to take possession of their property and i had to be out by 1/31/18. Yahira said it was a "courtesy call and of course, we will have to send over legal paperwork". I never received any type of notice or paperwork. I only moved out because the guy they send to photograph the house made an appointment and checked the records and said that my file did say they wanted me out by 1/31/18. In retrospect, I should have just stayed until they served me with the correct paperwork as there was a chance they could say that it was ME that moved without giving THEM 30 days notice. At this point, if I can't pick up a new check on Monday, I will look into small claims court and other resources for reporting the unfair practices of this company.
They deducted majority of my security deposit for jobs that I am responsible to pay. The worst part is that no one responds my emails and phone calls/voice mails. They are not professional at all!
This company is horrible. They are unorganized and can not do there jobs. I rented from them for 2 years and every time I needed to contact them it took weeks for a response and weeks for them to do what I asked. I was 38 weeks pregnant when called for the 4th time to renew our lease. I had asked two months before but was told to wait until we got closer to the end of the lease. After a week of waiting they finally send over the new lease agreement. I signed it and sent it back. The next day someone from a different department calls to tell me the owners of this house wish to sale. I was told I had 30 days to move out. We are in a middle of a pandemic and I just gave birth and they want me to find a new place by 30 days. I ask to at lease give us a little more time. We end up finding a home to buy and request to move out on the 8th so we were told only 8 days of rent would be charged. Nope they take out the full rent. I call once again 3 times before finally getting a email that they will refund us with or down payment. Now here we are again the fallowing month and full months rent gets taken out AGAIN and we still have not gotten a check from the last months rent or down payment. I do not recommend using them for ANYTHING. Absolutely ridiculous.
Just got a call from the guy in charge of Maintenance to make sure that I will make it to my appointment today and to tell me I have a past due fee of $54.00 on my account! This was because I missed my last appointment, when I got a call from a VIP representative I specifically told her I needed the last appointment of the day because I work 30 minutes away! I get a call from the maintenance guy around 2 p.m and he tells me he is 10 minutes away from my home. I explained to the maintenance guy that I work about 30 minutes away the guy told me he would only wait 10 minutes and he has a LAST appointment in North Las Vegas he has to get to!!! I told him I was told I would be the last appointment! So because I couldn t make it to this appointment due to the maintenance guy not wanting to wait for me I get a call from this rude VIP Representative today who said he was calling me from maintenance department to make sure I would be home for this appointment since I am still having issues with my washing machine and scheduled a new appointment. If I miss this appointment again I am going to be charged another fee! I explained the situation that happened last time and he didn t care and continued to deny that i spoke to anyone in his office! Basically was called a liar and he proceeded to tell me again if you don t make it to this appointment you will be charged another fee!!!
They suck. Do t get stuff fixed in my house. Unless it's something that they want. My house flooded and they won't replace the carpets in my son's closet and room it smells like mold and is making them sick. I'm going to to.contact the owner myself.
This agency does not return clients calls. I am trying to renew my lease and I can't get hold of anyone. Worst propert manager ever.
I've rented plenty of properties in my life, and dealt with a lot of management companies. At 51 years old, and after living all over Southern Nevada, I have to say that VIP Realty is the best hands down.
It doesn't matter what department, they're responsive and considerate of their clients. They take the time to get to know their clients, and have been absolutely wonderful long before the pandemic, and especially since.
If you're looking for a management company to oversee your property, or want a company to find you a home - VIP is the place to go!!!
They charged me $100 for my application. Fair enough I suppose. I was never contacted again. I only found out the property I applied for was rented out by a third party. I emailed the office and left several voicemails trying to find out and I have not received a single returned message. I was working with Yahayra; she seemed pleasant and helpful in person but once she got my $100 I was brushed off quickly. I am fine to miss on a home but I am trying to find a home for my kids. I find taking an application fee and never returning a call or speaking to the applicant again is dishonest and is very disruptive to my housing search. The action strikes me as predatory. Be careful when applying with VIP, they are very pleasant in person but that is the wool being pulled over your eyes.
The only person that will call back is Tim in maintenance.. He's awesome!!
No one else pays attention!! Or really cares..
