VIP Community Services Review

I lived in the women s residence for 6 months and then did outpatient for a couple of years after that. There are a handful of good employees that work here, but the majority are some of the laziest and rudest people I have ever met. The last time I went (1st week of June) they gave me COVID test and nobody ever called me with the results. I tried calling/emailing almost everyday and no one will answer the phone or call me back to let me know the results. Dr Samaroo is just a joke.

I hate these places. But i guess it's a necessary evil. This one is just as militant as the rest of them.

Thank you VIP. For giving me a chance at my life back and better then when I first got there .I'm definitely a successful story a single mom of three went in broken after a DV and now back on top . Became CRAC Certified Recovery Addiction Coach and I am now a Casac - T Credential Alcohol Substance Abuse Counselor I'm also and Mental Health First Aider and soon to be a CRPA Certified Recovery Peer Advocate and will be back in school to become a LSW I believe in me and they believed in me my kids are proud and doing great .If I can say to anyone I would like to say give yourself the chance to really live life not just survive or exist free your self seek VIP for the services everyone deserves a chance so take a chance on VIP let them work with you for you and your life . Please it's OK I used to attend st Barnabas then I transfer to vip it's ok

The services offered by VIP are wide range from housing to treatment to group outings such as sports games, bingo, bowling, theater, recreation, physical therapy (personal) etc...

Incredibly unorganized,lazy,both counselors and other employees are very lazy and uncommunicative with their clients . I've been receiving services from them for over 3 month with at least two care coordinator, one actually quit and I currently now have a new one by the name of Irma, shes quite the horror if you get on her bad side. I'm trying to receive help for housing & employment due to my mental illness and whenever I try to communicate or ask questions I'm either given purposeful excuses or passively aggressive attitude.And all I ever been was patient and content with them since day one and I'm receiving harsh attitudes from both my new care coordinator. I plan on finding a new health home.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET OUT OF THE STREET DRUGS,
THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO, THEY WILL HELP YOU WITH YOUR RECOVERY AND THEY ALL ARE EX ADDICT'S THEM SELVES SO THEY KNOW WHAT YOU BE GOING THREW,
IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO START...

One of the best organizations that someone could go to that needs drug treatment help have all you need and all the council is great

They did a lot for me I have to thank them for every thing

I love this place. It's a clinic to help you with your needs. The councelers are great and so are the security and nurses.

It's s good place they take care of the people like family

I've been in V.I.P for 12 years and the Services that they offers, has helped me alot along my journey. Thanks to all the staffs, especially my Counselor.

VIP community services Dr Liriano is a list as well as the receptionist I'm glad that Doctor Liriano is no longer my doctor he's not legit sorry to say

Great program I can surely say he has given me 5 chances to live, GOD... But v.i.p it's a great Meth program along with social workers keep it guys thank you for letting me go to your p.g

A lot great service and the is awesome ms.camacho is always pleasant and helpful and my counselor Latinas bean are great helpful

Doesn't seem to work. I drive taxi and the customer had me pass by the corner of 183rd and third ave. Right opposite the hospital. He then caught a "sniffle" attack in the backseat...Then ask me to take him to 176th and prospect. WOW.

When you are finally tired of getting high and you've hit your bottom for the last time give the program a shot nothing to lose but everything to gain like YOUR LIFE!! The program VIP is the only thing that has saved me from destroying myself. Plus they have meetings and they offer other help if needed, PCP physicians, medical, eye exams, psychiatric. Plus I have a great case worker Twanna.

I would like to give a big Thank You to the Healthcare and the Debra and Leon Black Family for the food that you gave me and the other tenants at 946 College Ave THANK YOU

This place has changed my life. Without this program i would be in the streets or worse... Maybe dead by now. Thank you VIP

I have had only positive things here. I'd refer it for different reasons. They offer alot of services,

It need more help from counselor to the clients. All this "program" are mostly about one thing..... Make sure that get their "medicaid" payments

It is a very Helpful place for people that need Help with addiction Or homelessness Or to see a doctor for medical issues

This place and my Counselor has saved my life. V.I.P. has helped me stay clean and sober for 17 years.

The counselor are uneducated on their field of work .. Not all and if you have a problem with your counselor well they will all hang up on you to kick u out

It is a multi-clinic with medical services for all areas.

VIP has a great caring staff, from the leader, Ms PANTIN, to sercurity, who takes special care in providing a safe and enjoyable place for clients to work through lifes issues.

Helping out minorities living under poverty, with addiction and many other services for those in need.
