Franke Kindred Canada Limited Review

2 older KWC kitchen taps, sprayer leaking on both. Replaced, shipped at no cost to me. No argument. Would absolutely use again. Thank you Marc.

UPDATE Jan 5, 2021 received a message to call Marc at Franke Kindred to call him back re my complaint, called him that day (2 months ago), left him a message, till this day I have not received a call back...

Bought a 1-1/2 bowl Kindred sink from home depot, and it is the worst purchase I have ever made! The right side of the rim has a rough edge and is sharp (I have already cut my finger on it ), it doesn't sit flush with the counter, the slightest touch leaves scratch marks, and the bowls not only have constant water stains, but are developing what looks like rust spots.... The store said that they would refund me, but I have to cover the cost of a plumber to disconnect and reconnect the sink... As well, I looked at the more expensive models of Kindred and they all have the same defect on the right rim of the sink... For something that was made in Canada, I would have expected better quality.. My advise to you, DO NOT BUY A KINDRED SINK... If I could have given 0 starts I would have...

The double kitchen sink has screws and plastic support to crush the countertop sink. But the problem is that this system is ridiculous and does no good which results in a gap of 1/8 to 1/4 The systems that were used by manufacturers 20 years ago with a completely metal system with screws and compression washers which should be the standard for all companies that make this product. that we pay we must receive a quality product

Very poor Customer Service and SS Sink quality. I purchased a Drop-in 31 Kindred 20-gauge SS Single-bowl sink to replace my old 2-bowl sink, paid a plumber a ton of money to install it, and within 2 weeks (not kidding) of installing and using the sink i noticed a dent in it. I hadn t used any cast-iron pans or heavy pots and pans and yet this sink has managed to get dented in two weeks of use.

I spoke with Kindred's Customer Support person on the phone and they were completely unhelpful and a bit rude. I then emailed them the photos as requested and they emailed back saying that something must have been dropped and that's its all my fault, and then didn't even bother to reply to my second email reply.

I've owned various sinks for over 20 years and I've never had one that dented and scratched this easily , especially within two weeks of installation. The value of this sink seems to be the mirror finish and not the quality of the material or strength of the sink which seems to dent so easily.

I would've even paid to upgrade to a higher 18-gauge sink but they didn't even bother to reply back to my second email.

STAY AWAY FROM KINDRED SINKS, THEY ARE CHEAP and CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RUDE AND AWFUL !!

A lot of their sinks are produced from 301 SS. Low rung on the Austenitic Stainless ladder.

Franke Kindred Canada sets the standard for customer service. We choose the wrong sink for our cabinet size and had a very poor fit as a result (our fault, purchased from a retailer). Franke's customer service was outstanding helping us address the issue and providing other sink options. Also, their sinks are very high quality and look great too. I highly recommend.
