My dad recently moved to Vintage Golden Gate and it has been such a positive experience for him. The staff is attentive and compassionate, and they create a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Jeanette Mario is such a gem! We corresponded via email and phone calls re: our mom living here and she was such a joy. She answered all our questions with kindness and enthusiasm and followed up with us to schedule a tour.
The Cypress grounds + entry / reception area is inviting, clean and beautiful. We appreciated all health guidelines to enter due to Covid as their facility has ZERO Covid cases. Jeanette was so kind, patient and friendly as she showed us multiple housing options to ensure we could find the perfect place for mom's needs. The wellness care and social / health activities that are available are so impressive and ensure peace of mind knowing your loved ones are in the best hands possible. Residents get to choose from a menu of dining options which is fabulous for specific dietary needs.
Thank you Jeanette for all the time, attention and earnest drive to accommodate us with everything to make mom happy, safe and at peace.
Update: We ended up having to move mom into our own home 2 days later due to a rapid health decline and her inability to live in her house alone any longer...so this review is about the fabulous experience with Jeanette during the interview process. We live 1 block away from Cypress at Golden Gate and we were not planning to look anywhere else once we realized what Cypress has to offer.
Thank you Jeanette and Cypress for the stellar care your provide. This is not a depressing place! You completely changed my idea of what a senior living place would be like.
To start off the reason I give it 4 stars is because you are the fifth star. This place is amazing and it is because of the people here. It begins with Ashley Clarke. She through her patience caring and understanding made the transition for my aunt possible. Change is hard for the elderly and for us, we need someone we can really trust with the care of our loved ones. Once in you get the pleasure of meeting Katherine. An old friend of mine recommended Cypress, because of Katherine and the experience he and his mother had with her. In a word Katherine is like family. From the front desk to the food servers I see caring for the residents here. I don't think I could have made a better decision for the care of my aunt. This is not a place to park someone. this is an opportunity to stay involved and make a new home for your loved one. Be the fifth star.
