Very very poor customer service. They are fine when the car is working OK, but when it breaks down and is still in warranty they really are unhelpful, small-minded, bitter and petty. Go elsewhere is my advice. Ended up going to another dealership who, when I said why we weren't going to Cokes as we normally do, said that this came as no surprise to them as they had picked up a lot of customers because of poor customer service from Cokes. Because of the way we were treated, because of the way they spoke to us, because they were so unhelpful we will never use them again.

The friendly helpful staff make going in to have your car serviced a good experience rather than one you dread.

I have been having so much trouble from VW UK,

They will not honour their guarantee for rust on my van even though a report that was done by an independent inspection has said the rust on my van has been on there for 8 or more years witch is not true as the van is only 8 years old. If the rust has been on the van for 8 or more years does this mean that Volkswagen are painting rusty vans and selling them anyway?

They would not let me use a company of my choice and I had to use someone they supply. They are now not willing to talk to me about this matter any more and have closed my complaint that I have made when they have not resolved the problem.

When I first asked for the report that was done I ask someone from the executive office at VW UK who said that he would first read the report before he was willing to send it to me. I have been trying to go above these people as they are rude and are not willing to try and resolve the problem.

I am looking to seek legal advice against VW over this because they will not accept responsibility and have basically said that the van was already covered in rust when brought.

At this present moment in time I would never buy a Volkswagen again and would not recommend them they will do any thing to try get out of doing something.

I am now trying to contact people from VW in Germany to try sort this problem out.

Don't trust the warranties or guarantees Volkswagen give they mean nothing and if you Google them you will fined no end of people complaining about them.

I'm very happy that I bought my car from cookes. I found the car online and dealt with Adam the sales guy all over the phone. The service I received was excellent. He even brought the car to a closer dealership for me to test drive and eventually buy. I've had a phone call to make sure I'm happy and answer any other questions I may have. It's been a pleasurable experience! :)

I think this company is absolutely appauling, it doesn t even deserve 1 star. they falsely sold me a car, stating it had Bluetooth, cruise control and 1 previous owner, turns out on the log book there was already 2 previous, by this time the warranty of handing the car back was over. Yes maybe I should of looked into it more but how can you advertise something that isn t on there, it was also on the paperwork but they told me there was nothing that could be done. there was no Bluetooth or cruise control, the man selling it to me didn t let me look around the car either. They told me after serveral visits they d sort the Bluetooth out but never did. I had a service which took from 10am- 6pm and they didn t supply me with a courtesy car, the customer service was dreadful, every time I asked how long it would be, they told me half an hour, but I still ended up waiting hours after that. They were rude and joking around at the fact I had been there all day. In the last year I have gone there requently to tell them I can not afford the car and they ve either told me to ring someone as they can t do anything or to do things that are against the law to make the car worth what was left on the outstanding debt, eg. Burning the car out. Each time I went there they did not want to help me out and turned me away. They encouraged me to get a bank loan out to pay the car off but I d also have to take out another car on finance from their company . I think it is disgusting. I will not be recommending these people, they don t care about their costumers, and would quite happily screw you over. Luckily I am now out of this debt no thanks to them, also if you are young looking for a car do not go there!

I had been searching for a specific VW and found one at Cooke s. My experience from initial visit to collecting the car was excellent. All members of the team were friendly and professional, I would however single out Matt Hill for his commitment and attention to detail during all of our dealings. Nothing was too much trouble and he made this a pleasant and straightforward process. He also makes a great cup of coffee.
