Nice to see how they rehabilitate the animals. Really worth a look.

Nice foundation with a clear goal, not like the heart foundation a director with a ridiculous wage of 180K but the director of the AAP foundation does it with only 65K

It is amazing to see how people are committed to animal welfare. Also sad to see how low people can fall mistreat animals that cannot defend themselves. Fortunately, many are saved by the monkey foundation. Unfortunately not all of them.

We arrived there on location we are kindly received. They do a lot of good to give these animals a nice life.

Fantastic tours and you can really see that they take good care of the animals!

Had a very nice tour of a volunteer who came from Rotterdam. She clearly stated the objective of the AAP foundation. Furthermore, she respected the animals that stayed there and she made this clear to us. At the end of the tour it was decided to adopt LULU as an adoption parent. I can recommend it to anyone to visit AAP and certainly to decide to become a donor.

The AAP Foundation does a great job with a very professional approach.

Nice to walk around for an afternoon and watch monkeys. There is also a catering facility where you can have a nice drink and eat. Parking is free and on the other side you have quite a climb which is also fun to do.

Without subsidy for years for the interest of the animal. Top !!!

We were only sorry with our grandson that we are still not allowed to cross the bridge to watch the monkeys.

Good work is done by catching and caring for animals

Monkeys and small mammals traded as pets or abandoned to their fate are taken care of by this foundation. Sick or severely lost or obese animals (yes, indeed!) Animals become healthy again with great patience and become animals again among their own kind. Old circus animals also take place there. The foundation has been around for more than 50 years. Never knew until I came up with the idea through the Postcode lottery. Beautiful and at the same time impressive. Really take a look.

Great job that all employees and volunteers perform there, they deserve all support and support from us !!!

A good shelter for monkeys and smaller animals. Definitely worth a visit.

There is a lot of work done here for animals that have been maltreated or dumped by stupid people. A rod steering is free and very instructive.

Amazing organisation, much more than a place that looks after animals that shouldn't be kept as pets. It covers research, legislation, behavioural science, and the passion for animal well-being is tangible.

The tour of the animals and a visit to the jungle was very worthwhile. You can spend a nice day there and you can enjoy lunch or dinner by the water. In addition, you can support your monkey foundation by making a small donation in the pot or by visiting the jungle.

Nice walking area, good food and the farmer's market should not be missed! Highly recommended!

Trapped animals ... it remains pathetic, although it is nice that these animals have been removed from even greater misery.

Nice foundation that has been arranging care for monkeys in particular for a long time. But other ot native animals are taken care of through this foundation. Through paths you can order a number of cages, at an appropriate distance, walk away. If you are in the area, such a walk is worth it. But even better is to support this foundation.

Wonderful initiative nice people. Nice tour possible for older teenagers. Young children are not allowed to go because of the too many busy monkeys.

I adopted a real Chimpanzee this week. Shouldn't be necessary, but thanks to the AAP Foundation, animals like "my" Regina have an animal-worthy existence again

Everything closed. You couldn't even get on the walkway. Almere jungle fun and at least you could get coffee there

Well worth a visit. Located in a wooded area where you can walk.

This is a mission that unfortunately will never end.
But the passion and care can be seen from all these people. Hats off and fantastic that such people exist to try to give animals their animal life back after what these animals have experienced before.

Fun time for people who appreciate that not everything is perfectly cared for. And by that I certainly do NOT say that it is a poorly maintained mess. If you are going to compare the AAP foundation with modern large zoos with mega budgets, then it will not work out. Yes you see here pumping tubes and fence with strings. And it sometimes looks a bit outdated. But therefore wonderfully ordinary and accessible. It is clean and the animals look well-groomed. We had a nice morning / afternoon. With a delicious hot chocolate milk by a burning stove. (Dec 2017)

Is actually very sad that these monkeys cannot live in normal nature

A very well organized animal protection area. Their information tour is very nice and will make you understand primates a lot better (and loathe some humans a bit more also)
