Before I came to Vincera, I thought my running career was over. I had just completed my best track season of my life, when a mysterious pin in my groin went from sidelining me to sometimes rendering me unable to even walk. After a difficult few months unsuccessful standard PT regimens and getting standard MRI s, MRA s and bonescans, and having doctor after doctor tell me they didn t know what the issue was, Vincera was like a beacon of hope. The staff were incredible at all levels: intelligent, kind, and very skilled at communicating their niche knowledge to new patients. I didn t feel like a slab of meat being analyzed, I felt like an athlete who was understood and partnered with to get back in the road to recovery. The surgery couldn t have been smoother or more successful. And the rehab team was exceptional. I had a great PT, and a fantastic yoga teacher who really pushed me to take the needed measures to move from injured/recovering back to active athlete. Because of the Vincera team, I was able to return to the sport I love and contribute to my team at a high level. It was an inspiring, electric atmosphere, with great people. Vincera truly was God s answer to prayer for healing in my life! Thank you!
