Excellent hospital! I have been there for a few years and I have always been satisfied. I had to go there urgently a few weeks ago, and I had to go back today for further exams. I came out of there completely reassured because they made me all the tests to find the source of the problem! The doctor took the time to explain to me what was happening, and this, with a suitable vocabulary, which I find important. She was exemplary professionalism at all levels. Unfortunately I do not remember her name but I thank her for the quality of her work provided since the emergency consultation and remote monitoring. Of course, sometimes you have to wait, and for a hospital such as this, I think the wait is legitimate. I know that when it's my turn I'll be supported as it should be so the wait is worth it ;-)

What to say about this place. Clean place, very professional and welcoming staff, the 3 doctors I have: adorable women: Mme Kaisari, Mme Kasser who had looked after me at the phone ... an extra girl! I no longer remember the second but just as adorable, open, pleasant, sweet. In short, happy to see so many women in charge, in a very well managed place. I had a care beyond the usual hopes. Their way of communicating is open, non-aggressive, respectful while I think that difficult cases must be common (I am in the medical field). So a big thumbs up for this structure and all the staff, from the workers, to the doctors through the heating engineer, the cleaning lady and in others without whom nothing would be possible. Here is an establishment which has understood that uniting skills and knowing how to maintain dialogue is a source of success, human, medical and financial. Hat

The best ophthalmic clinic! Great humane motivated dedicated crew. Treat them with respect, they are all doing a great job.
Fantastic equipment of all sorts.
Parking is non-existent except for patient drop and pickup. Best option, the Chaudron underground parking. Second best, the Flon then up the Migros escalators plus 10 minutes of walk.

On December 16, I came to the emergency room for my swollen and sore eye. It also disturbed my eyesight. I was received after about an hour of waiting by a newly graduated doctor (after the basic exams carried out by another lady).
The doctor awarded me a chalason and prescribed me ointment to put in the eye 3x a day without giving me any work stoppage. With this ointment in my eye, I couldn't see very well to drive, nor to work on the building site, and that was really dangerous. I do not recommend the care of this doctor with the initials of A.B.
She did not even ask me that she was a professional or if I had to drive as part of my work. I didn't find him listening to the patient at all.

I had to go to the ophthalmic hospital urgently. I found a very warm and caring welcome. The modern East hotel and all the amenities are there! Everything is very clear and very well indicated from the starting point (ticket to take), through the sorting, until the moment of taking care by specialists, whether it is urgent or when an appointment has been arranged before! The caregivers at the reception are really friendly and attentive and explain clearly what awaits us and an estimate of time (although it is possible to know before through the application "Emergencies"). All the caregivers who welcome you are qualified and professional and once again very attentive. I felt completely taken into account and care! I highly recommend this property for any need regarding the specificity of the view!

So disappointed with the follow-up! I call to make an appointment for my son who is already being followed at their home.
I explain that we saw an allergist following the consultation at the ophthalmic hospital and that the diagnosis is wrong, that we must see the doctor again to set up another treatment. There I am offered an appointment in 3 months! No, seriously! We are talking about a child who needs an appointment in the days to come and not in 3 months !! And NO, I'm not going to take him to the emergency room because he needs proper follow-up and not treatment to calm the inflammation!
I do not understand that proper follow-up is not offered in such a hospital.
I am torn between worry, fear and anger.

1 hour to wait with the small ticket before registering your insurance card ... 1 hour more to see a nurse who, before anything else and any question, gives you a glance and a measure of visual acuity as if it was your first concern on a Saturday afternoon in an emergency ... as I was not satisfied with the answer to my problem (I read the same thing on doctissimo and it did not help me therefore I consult) I had to wait for an assistant doctor completely overwhelmed for another 3 hours and I am still waiting .... patients with no other choice in emergency are really taken hostage here ... I think I will leave without seeing the doctor after 5 hours spent in the waiting room ... for all those who can go elsewhere flee this place

I arrived at 11am, redirected from an emergency consultancy at the PMU Flon (relatively fast procedure). I waited until 4pm to see the doctor for 15minutes, after which i had to wait again for him to check with his colleague. 4:51pm i'm still waiting for what seems to be the only treatment room.

If your eye is not falling out of its socket, you might have a better shot at getting treated by driving to france, paying a vet under the table and getting at least some kind of treatment before dying of hunger !

I confirm my review, but reading some negative reviews I want to make some clarifications. Since September I have been treated for a serious eye disease at this fantastic hospital. I made my first visit on August 15th! Since then I have been followed by Dr. Schalenbourg and Professor Kimionis. The secretaries of these studies are exceptional, Mrs. Eveline is unique. In addition to the undoubted and excellent professionalism, I received warmth. Absolutely impeccable organization, hospitalization as in a hotel, with nursing staff attentive to all patient needs. I carried out a cycle of proton radio therapy in Brugg, all organized by the secretariat, everything is ok there too. Upon acceptance, there are no expectations, if not for a few minutes, smiling and very kind staff. In my opinion 5 stars are few ... and I don't think mine is an isolated case.
