Village Social Kitchen & Bar Review

I went there for a bridal shower for the second time. Food is consistently delicious. First time was a buffet and second time was a sit down. Their goat cheese pistachio pizza is to die for. Both times I was there it was busy the entire time. Service was excellent. I love an hour away or I'd frequent Village Social weekly.

The beet fries were awesome! The veggie burger was tasty but difficult to eat. The tofu rice bowl was mediocre. But go and get the beet fries!

Wonderful place for all courses and eclectic environment.

One of the few casual restaurants in northern Westchester to eat at that has excellent food. Highly recommend the burrata appetizer and the skirt steak !

Always a great experience! From the GM (Brandon) to the waistaff, bartenders, kitchen staff and busboys, everyone is focused on great service and the food is consistently awesome. Try the fritters, daredevil pizza and new banana cream pie (not what you may expect) ... you will not be disappointed.

oh. my. god. this was probably the best veggie burger in my entire life. in fact, this was the best veggie burger in my life. rewinding to the apps, the kale chips was easily the best over there. would highly recommend this place 10/10

This was my first time to VSK, based on a family recommendation. I had the fish tacos, which were very bland and lacked flavor, not horrible, just okay. Service was excellent and beer selection was great.

Came here with my wife on a Thursday night. It was very busy with almost all the tables filled. We tried the following:

Crushed Fingerling Potatoes - 5 of 5 stars - Really good taste from the deviled egg aioli.

Buffalo Social Wings - 4 of 5 stars - Sauce is excellent, wing size is great. Not enough wings in the order and they are breaded which is why i deducted 1 star. That aside, they are one of the best wings I've had from a non wing place.

Bolognese Cruda "Ancient Grain" - Wife got the dish and said it was pretty good. It's Zucchini as the spaghetti. She said she probably wouldn't get it again, but she liked it.

Vintage Burger Batch #21 - 4 of 5 stars - Cabot cheddar is awesome and cooked to Medium-Well when I asked for Medium. It was still very moist and tasty. I did without the onion. Would get the burger again. Fries were a little salty, but they were very good.

Salty Carmel Pie - 5 of 5 stars - I was worried it would be too salty, but it was perfect and not overly sweet. Comes with vanilla ice cream. Would definitely get that again. This is a must try.

Service was a bit slow and they almost overcharged us for 2 orders that weren't ours. Hope that was just a one off thing. We will be back.

Outstanding. Service prompt and super friendly. Great food. Muscles were perfect - note has meat in it. Fish tacos fresh - though a little floppy. Def a reason to Come to Kisco

Nice place for lunch, but nothing special in the food, service or ambiance.

Good solid choice. The staff tries to give good service - meaning this place could rocket to 5 stars if the service becomes more attentive to the details. For the price it's a good ol' spot.

This place is great, good selections of healthy food and comfort food, great atmosphere inside, feels like a ski resort for some reason.

Food delicious under warmth of heating lamps. Friendly and very competent wait staff. Enjoyed our rare night out very much. All safety measures in place and reinforced nicely

Happy hour appetizers were delicious! Irish nachos, with sliced small potatos NOT tortilla chips, beyond great. Grilled carrots with pistachios yummy. Waiter friendly with excellent service. Definitely returning.

The food was very good, however there was a piece of hard plastic in my dish, which was unfortunate and gross. They replaced my dish with a new one to go, however they also charged me for it.

Very good place for a tasty meal for everyone. Menu is varied and you can find something for all in the group. One of the best burgers around. Very nice bar selection and the Bloodies are the best in town.

Nice little restaurant bar in the middle of Mt Kisco. Sit inside or out...great place to meet for happy hour on a Friday or have a date. If you're in kisco you should try this place out. The menu has some interesting items as well. Only downside is just 2 single use bathrooms.

The food was good and they had a wide variety of options. Not only the for the food but also a wide variety of beers to choose from. The atmosphere of this place was modern and very clean, and they had outdoor seating available. My server was great, very polite, and informative when I had questions about the menu. I wasn't too impressed with what I ordered, it seemed a bit over priced for what I got, and the price is definitely the only real downside to this place. I would go here again though, overall I had a very good experience.

Another great place to hang out the Aviance is nice you can just get a whole bunch of appetizers with people and pick and the food is very good

used to be great now they're starting to cut corners took the veggie burger off the menu which was fabulous they also took the garlic out of the oil which is one of the reasons why we went

Friends and I went to celebrate a birthday. We had a reservation for 6 but a few hours earlier one of my friends texted that she could not make it because her daughter came down with a fever and thought she had strep. I have never been to the VS and when making the reservation was not told about the 6 person reservation policy. The Host who was about to seat us then refused because we were now only five and not six. We explained what had happened and told us we could go on the waitlist if we wanted to but basically to bad. He was rude and dismissive. So I have never eaten at the VS and looks like I never will. We went to a nearby restaurant which was fabulous and had a great celebration for our friend.

Warm and inviting, Social is a big place that uses a lot of wood in his architectural design. It can be boisterous and a little loud when it fills up. Everything is good here, though I am very partial to the short rib pizza. Drinks come quickly, the staff are pros.

Just had a few dishes. Salmon in a wok was amazing. Pizza crust amazing. Much better than 99% of places....

Bridal Shower invite, so 1st time here. Food and service was very good. Great layout for family gatherings. Love the rustic feel. Will come back with hubby for dinner one evening.

We sat outside under an umbrella in beautiful weather, and started a fantastic lunch. Hummus and pita chips were the appetizer, and was creamy, garlicky, and had plenty of flavor. I had a salmon burger, topped with a spicy mayo and arugula. My guests had a pizza topped with spicy peppers and Sriracha, and a braised short rib grilled cheese. Needless to say, everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying this place, and it seems to be an excellent place to meet with friends for drinks after work. Highly recommended!

NY Strip had too much lime, no flavor I'm meat. Long wait.

Hadn't been there for a long time and heard about the dumplings so went there last night. I sat at the bar since i was by myself. It was sunday night and the place was lively but not super busy. Even though there were two bartenders working and there weren't more than 4 customers actually drinking, I had to ask for service after sitting there more than 10 mins. The food I ordered (pork belly ramen)took a very long time to arrive, more than half an hour. And when it finally did arrive, i couldn't find ANY PORK in the bowl. Turned out that the Mexican cooks in the back forgot to put pork in pork ramen.....
The food was ok, def not worth 17 bucks, but whatever. After i finished, again i had to ask the bartender to get my bill. They just seemed to not see me, for some reasons....
Anyways, for sure i won't be visiting this place anytime soon....there are a lot of other places that provide real and decent service, at a much more reasonable price

I love going to Vllage Social. The food is delicious and creative. I can go with my husband and my 9 year old and still have fun.

Great food but limited menu, good service, delicious coffee

The night I went with friends was a Saturday. The noise level was far above average; I was forced to shout to people who were only two seats away. The branzino (Italian trout) that I ordered was good, but not good enough for a recommendation on a second visit. Parking is extremely limited; I had to park a quarter-mile away on a sidestreet. I expected better from an eatery in a tony village in northern Westchester where I worked for eleven years.

Driving through Mt. Kisco I needed a quick early dinner before a work appointment and stopped in. I sat at the bar and had immediate friendly and casual service. I ordered the house made veggie burger with salad and fries. My expectations are always high, but when trying a new place I always expect to be a little disappointed after having spent years cooking in healthy organic restaurant kitchens myself. I was blown away by this meal. It was on par with any gourmet entree you would get at the best gastrophb in NYC. My neighbor at the bar was enjoying the ribs with as much enjoyment and astonishment as me. I can't wait to visit again with friends to enjoy this culinary experience and also the great warm atmosphere. Kudos!

Very trendy restaurant. Crowded during peak hours and on the weekends. The food is good.

Very good food. Fun atmosphere. Great drinks and really great bar. Service depends on who you get. Most are great. A few (including apparently, the manager) are slow and inattentive.

Interior rustic and oh so comfortable. The cloth napkins and full glass front window made this a great experience.

Just ordered a burger for pick up. Cooked Well even though ordered medium rare. Used a block of mozzarella on the burger with an enormous peice of lettuce. BOTH buns almost soaked into a liquid paste because of how they packed all the grease fries ontop of, in the middle of, and under the burger. I ate half due to the pain of starvation I was in and then opened a nature valley bar. Extremely gross meal hopefully they improve

Food always tasty, interesting cocktails. Wood-fired pizzas are amazing. Rice bowls with various toppings delicious. Service is always pleasant, can be slow at times. Very active bar, especially weekends. No sound dampening so loud when busy. Convenient location, though parking lot often filled leaving on-street metered parking (free after 6pm and Sundays). Nice for lunch. Outdoor seating on busy road.

Great food, great atmosphere, service is ok. A good gastropub. A local go-to. You won't go wrong here, but service could be a little better. Great craft beers, awesome cocktails and good food.

Good food and not too bad prices. My only complaint was that it was a little loud and hard to hold a conversation at the table among the 5 of us attending.

This unassuming burger was spectacular, featuring carmelized onions underneath the white cheddar, a tangy sauce and a bun that was just right in size. I could tell from the first bite that it was going to be messy and therefore outstanding. It was perfectly cooked, rare. The fries, which I was not supposed to eat, were also quite good. Service was fast and friendly, parking was a little bit of a challenge but it s a popular place and there s not a lot of parking in this part of town. They had some nice outdoor seating which we did not get a chance to enjoy. Overall a wonderful place and I would love to return!

The fare was excellent and so the service. Very nice atmosphere.

Awesome food, attentive staff, cozy& trendy setting. 10/10 would recommend. Good for larger parties too, just be sure to call ahead.

The service for lunch on Sunday was slow, and the drinks took a long time to come out. On the other hand, the food was incredible! We had the braised beef grilled cheese and the salmon burger, both excellent. The fries are shoe string and crunchy, just like they're supposed to be! Tina, our waitress, was very helpful and knowledgable.

Great menu. Prices are in line with other high end dinning.
