Great happy hour during the week! The food is always delicious.
Great happy hour during the week! The food is always delicious.
Unbelievable appetizers...I recommend not ordering any entrees that you're not dying to have...just order a bunch of appetizers and share.
5 out of 5 stars in "it's category" and for the area. Rustic experience. Great bar and cocktails. Risotto fitters are awesome. The Wood fire Monchengo app is too "simple" for me. The burger was real good. I also had a noodle bowl special that was unreal. Friendly service. First time here. Will be back.
The service is great, staff friendly and the food is delectable!
I had a take out from this place and I was very satisfied with everything; the polenta bites outrageous gnammy, the dare davil pizza on point and dulcis in fundo.. the brownie with ice cream, chocolate, caramel and some salty crunchy stuff that really knocked me down in a positive way!!!
The atmosphere is a nice mix of rustic and modern. The food tastes fantastic. The menu is simple but flavorful and the staff is very attentive.
Nutella Pizza is not to be missed.... I have never ordered a bad thing there. Delightful
Seating is a bit tight at the tables, you will get bumped a lot. Go for the Pizza, thin crust woodfired goodness.
Every single dish was beyond delicious! Cant wait to go back
Lunch time was pleasant without the noise that dinner generates. The veggie burger is exceptional and the Daily Special (Carrot Fennel soup) was amazing. Courteous and friendly staff.
Did take out, food so so and overpriced for what you get.
Absolutely outstanding food and service. I was incredibly impressed with the food and the staff was awesome!
Great atmosphere and the staff were lovely. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. UPDATE - I keep going back and have good fun and great food every time :)
Best place to have dinner or drinks with friends and familiy
Great food, service and the beer choices were very good, From draft to bottles they had a great variety. We had dinner on the outside patio and it was a great choice. Their menu is also very good. I'll be going back.
This is our go to restaurant & bar in Mt Kisco. Active and fun bar. Great food. Service is always attentive & pleasant.
We love coming here, it is our go to spot to eat and have amazing cocktails. We have never had a bad meal here and the servers know what they're doing. The menu changes seasonally so there is always something different to try.
I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. The drinks are great but to be honest, I wasn t blown away by their food. It wasn t bad but it didn t wow me like other restaurants have. This place is always busy, is fairly packed and very loud. I would still go again, but there would be a few other choices before I picked village social.
Dependable local spot. Good food, sometimes hard to get a table as they don't take reservations for small parties.
The food was fine, but there are a lot of good restaurants in the area. We were greeted pleasantly but at the decided end of our lunch we were rushed out. It was not a prime lunch time, it was relatively quiet for a Saturday, yet our waitress came to clear our plates before we were finished. When we asked to keep everything on the table (as I was feeding a distractable toddler) she left, came back about 5 minutes later and just took pretty much everything off the table while I still had a fork in my hand, quickly returning with the check. It was just sort of odd since we hadn't been there more than 40 minutes and there was no line of people waiting. The prices are somewhat high for lunch, but the fries were very good.
Varied and interesting menu, modest but well chosen draft selection, warm and comfortable atmosphere. Bacon dumplings were very tasty, and short rib grilled cheese really hit the spot.
What an outstanding experience!!! Starts from minute you walk in the door, this place is very warm and inviting. The service was some of the best I've had from the front door to the waitress. Food was excellent!! Great selections!! And the Food is excellent!! Needs to be said twice!!
I loved this place. My steak was cooked perfectly and delicious and my girlfriends salad was amazing. But even better than the food was the service. They had by far the best service I've ever seen. I definitely recommend.
One of my favorite places to hang out for happy hour. I love the ambiance. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious!
Village Social is a great place to grab a drink and bite in Mt. Kisco. The bar is large enough to support a few friends and sports some really interesting and quality beer options. The key to Village Social, however, is the diverse and deep menu.
Here is your order: start with Kale chips (fried but not greasy) polenta bites (mind blowing crunch exterior and creamy interior), social wings. Then, go with the slow-cooked skirt steak. the meat is delicate and flavorful, and blends perfectly with the spices on the plate.
The waitstaff could be a little more engaged, but overall this is great place to have drinks / dinner.
Food and drinks are pretty good but they will close before the posted time if they are not busy.
Excellent dinner and thanks to our server Michaela for such wonderful service.
In a word, BOMB! We visited and met a friend who moved up this way recently and chose this place primarily because of the location. Everything we tasted was AMAZING the service was exceptional and we will be back!!
Great foods to eat. Comfort food. Good draft beer selection. I like IPA beers.
The food was very good, the steaks are cooked with the so-called method the meats and steaks are cooked to 140 deg F then browned. Med rare or rare is not an option, but everything was very good with the exception of an overly familiar millennial waiter. Parking is a horror.
Came For Lunch. Really enjoyed everything we ate. The fried calamari was delicious. We got 2 kids of Wings buffalo and Asian.. Fantastic! Also had the butter lettuce crisp apple salad.
Fish Tacos were excellent, as were all the other meals. There was a bit of noise, but everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having a good time. Not a location for a quiet conversation.
Great staff (we had Andy as our server), great Margherita pizza!
Everything was delicious. Server was attentive and we weren't rushed.
Good food good service :always crowded with a friendly vibe.
Fantastic short rib grilled cheese. The eggplant fries and wings with Asian peanut glaze is delicious. There is a lovely patio for good people watching. The inside of the restaurant looked snazzy but we ate outside. The food and service was very snappy.
Not the most exciting menu, but you can trust that the dish will be tasty and filling
Good food, Great staff! Dine for two and kids friendly
My family and I just returned home from the Village Social in Mount Kisco, NY. We enjoyed our dinner just as we have many times. The five of us had just finished eating and my son who has mild autism told us he wanted to get some air outside, while we finished up and paid the check. A few minutes later my son returned to the table telling us "the man from the restaurant" was harassing him. The next thing we see is two policemen have entered the restaurant and one followed him to our table. He proceeded to tell us that the Manager had called the police because according to him, my son walking back and forth outside was making people uncomfortable (which could have been no more than 5 minutes). I would like to mention this same Manager was the one who greeted us when we walked in and at that time took notice of my son. I am very disappointed how this situation was handled. First of all, the manager's ignorance of my son's disability and his lack of consideration to us (his customers) is unforgivable. If he had just taken just a few moments to access the situation/ask his servers if they recognized my son, this situation could have been easily remedied. Instead he called the police. My son was back at our table within 10 minutes. At this time, the Manager had seen my son return to our table, but did nothing to prevent us from being approached at our table in front of the entire restaurant. If only the Manager had intervened after he had seen my son return to our table, but he chose to let the situation elevate. We were then confronted by the policeman, who was required to take my son's name and date of birth. This caused my son and ourselves considerable distress. All my son wanted was a little fresh air... instead he was humiliated and so were we. My son is very timid and now has felt rejection again from a very unsympathetic person wishing to remain ignorant and unwilling to tolerate this very common disability. To say the least, we will not be returning to this restaurant as long as the Management desires to turn a blind eye to Autism. After this incident, we had approached the manager twice and he was unwilling to offer a simple apology, which could have gone a long way. This was a very sad day for my family.
I have not had the food, but if you are wealthy recent divorce and looking for a cougar this is the place for you. Not a bad place for a drink, but a very interesting crowd. Great for people watching.
This place is a lot cooler looking on the inside than outside. Food was good (I had the gnocchi) and the prices were reasonable (comparable to the diner across the street). It gets fairly loud especially near the bar but there's outdoor seating that's much quieter.
Good food (we ate salad and burgers) but very pricey compared to other places in the area. Bad coffee, tasted old and like it had been sitting out for a while. Liked the industrial chic space.
Nice atmosphere and super attentive service. The meals were fresh and delicious. Will definitely recommend this spot to friends and family. Reasonable prices and large portions. Great work.
Cocktails are awesome. Staff is very friendly. Food is great, fresh, contemporary presented
This place is always crowded, but it's worth the wait. The food, service, and music are great. Never once had a bad meal in over five years.
From apps to entrees to dessert, everything was delicious. Wonderful service and a great space made for a fantastic birthday luncheon. Great selection for non-meat eaters as well.
Excellent food and pleasant atmosphere. Reasonable prices and interesting menu selections.
The grilled cheese and steak sandwich was awesome. We ordered the calamaries as a starter and a small bowl of the calamaries was brought out, we all looked at each like as if to say "did we order a personal size?".
This restaurant has to rate as one of the most special and wonderful places I have ever eaten. First of all, it is located in lovely Mt. Kisco, right on Main Street, with a lovely, spacious Front Terrace, with umbrellas, for outdoor eating, and it just makes you want to walk right up and remain outdoors and eat as if there was all the time in the world to do so. Indeed, the indoor space is lovely and spacious as well, with lovely full length windows looking out onto the terrace, so wherever you eat (and there is also a lovely bar space with tables), you feel as if you are outdoors with the trees.
Secondly, the food is delicious!!! I do not know how to classify it exactly; I would say that there are a number of dishes such as soy glazed chicken (off the bone) and teriyaki salmon in bowls with rice and delicious vegetables, such as beautifully cooked spinach, which have an Asian flavor, but you can also order a hamburger and a salmon burger with fries. There are excellent starters as well; they do have a menu of the day, and one day in July, they had zucchini blossoms sauteed in a glazing, which I have not eaten since my Italian grandmother cooked them, fresh from the garden. There are a number of different types of bowls and wraps and sandwiches and dishes, all of which sound fantastic, and I have to.say that everything I have eaten there was delicious. They make their own chips! And one day, when I could not eat another bite of the soy-glazed chicken, I felt that I needed just a little something to end the meal, so I ordered one scoop of their lemon sorbet, which turned out to be white and just a touch sweet and heavenly!
On a personal note, I would like to say that the people who work there could not be nicer, and one of their head staff helped me so much during my very first visit to Mt. Kisco, when I was almost in tears because my phone had run out of its charger, I did not have a charger with me, I was dependent upon Uber to get me back to Ardsley, and was thoroughly miserable and stymied as to what to do. Brandon welcomed me into the restaurant, called the Mt. Kisco taxi service (which I did not know existed), found out that they would take me to Ardsley when I finished lunch, and then called them after lunch to arrange for the pick up. I will be forever grateful to him, for his kindness, which he made seem so matter-of-fact! Thus, this restaurant has become one of my all time favorites, as has Mt. Kisco itself.
Great local place in Mount Kisco. Have been going to this place for years and will continue to go. The service is always great. The food is usually amazing (on rare occasions, it has not been as good). The place is really cute and well decorated. A nice place to try
Had the ramen. Excellent. More like a noodle bowl as there wasn't any broth. Nice beers on tap and a nice relaxed ambiance. Would give back here again.
Used to go here for employee celebrations at my old job. Always was so excited to go. Atmosphere is very modern and food it great.
20 something hipster bar. You'll like it if that's your scene. Good drinks.
Great food, good service. I recommend the date almond cake for dessert!
They have great food and many healthy options to choose from. Was pleased to see so many vegetarian options. Their drinks are amazing as well!
Excellent food, great service even for a large party.
Great bartenders and nice selection of wine and top shelf booze. Varied assortment of entries and specials that were served promptly and all had great flavor. A very pleasant find.
Food and service excellent. Burgers were awesome. Prices not bad for Mt Kisco. Ambience was pleasant. Place was popular as lots of people were there on a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend.
Great outdoor seating with attentive staff and excellent food.
Great Place we've been going to for years. 140 steak sandwich is unbelievably good and hard NOT to have every time I go. The restaurant/bar can be extremely busy and parking is very limited, but the food is worth it.
Excellent menu, excellent service! Delicious cocktails (i.e. the hot toddie). Very accommodating for my vegan needs without sacrificing taste! LOVE, will definitely recommend and return for more goodies!!!
Have been going to Village Social for YEARS, absolutely love this place. Such a great vibe and wonderful atmosphere, as a Mount Kisco Native it is so wonderful to have something so close to home.
My 50th birthday party was absolutely fabulous!
The food was outstanding, , the staff was more than accommodating and I am grateful for the great day .
Thank you Joe and Brandon and all of the staff.
Great atmosphere for drinks. Decent food, average service.
