Village Inn Review

Food was good, waitress was good however, this place needs some improvements. I'm sure they know about the need for more employees, cleaning, seating, etc. I'm not in the restaurant biz and there's a lot of room for improvements. I can see the staff is trying their best, but corporate needs to come in and give some guidance. Something is amiss here.

Used to like Village Inn but ordered some grits and I got sick the whole day and the next day

Its a diner but a very good diner. Steak and eggs very comforting. Desserts are fresh light and old world. I was grateful to find this warm and smoothing place on a harsh winters night. The coffee warmed me up and the banana cream pie cheered me up. Very large selection of fresh pies. I will come back. Thank you.

Hadn't had village inn for a while, and this time it was no disappointment. As always the food was fresh and cooked to order. The waiter we got was really friendly and made sure he got everything we asked for in our omelettes. I forgot to get his name but he was doing a great job. Although it got busy he kept his friendly smile and served everyone correctly. Really please with my breakfast that day.

Very clean, the staff was friendly. Busy for Thanksgiving but yet, found the time to be friendly and was very catered too.

Great place to stop by if you're around the airport.

This is a stand alone restaurant with plenty of parking.
We arrived and it took a little while to be seated.
Once seated in a booth it took a significant amount of time for the waiter to come to take out drink order (~10 minutes). The restaurant did not seem that busy. We ordered and the food came out fairly quickly. I ordered a french toast combo and it was fairly good.
One again, once complete it took a little bit of time to get our check.
The waiter was very nice but either he was very busy or we were not a priority. When we checked out and paid our check we found an online coupon that discounted the price. 2 meals with ~20% discount came out to $16.00.
The staff was friendly. The food was good but the service was not that quick.

The food was good but service is really bad. They gave me a spoon that look used and also had hair on it.. when I asked them to replace it they returned the same one!! Also they don't come to your table to ask you if you need anything. Really annoying.

Really good food at a fairly decent price. Xavier was our serever an he was really cool. Very laid back and seemed to be in a good mood. Will probably stop by again.

Randall was an amazing server! Food was great. Atmosphere was easy laid back. Highly recommended.

Man! It's disgusting! The register is having a running nose and she is sniffing and cleaning it right there with her bare hands! I ordered a chicken burrito and they got me potato instead. I came back from the parking lot to complain, the register was already aware and she wanted the burrito back. I trashed it right infront of the manager, got my refund and left! I know the manager would have offered a free buritto for others to correct the misshapen but gave me the option to take a refund and take a hike! How disrespectful!

Warm place. Nice. The service was excellent. Very attentive the person who attended us. The food takes 20 minutes to arrive. A little cold, that can be improved.

The service is usually good (have had one or two servers that were not that great but overall good) and we are usually not pressed for time. If you come on a weekend for breakfast be ready to wait.

Clean, even while fairly busy. I got the tail end of breakfast, ordered a Reuben for lunch. Crispy and not fatty at all. Good fries, too. server was a sweetheart. only in the area on a layover, nice family atmosphere. I'd go back.

Came to grab a quick breakfast before a flight out of DIA, however, they had not even opened yet. One person was in the parking lot taking his sweet time to open up shop and said he wouldn't be ready to serve until an hour later. Sadly, we left with out breakfast.

Great good and better staff. We don't have it close to us but it's always a real delight to dine here.

Ciera was an amazing host she made sure I had everything.

We live about 6 hours from the Denver airport so we always leave early and have time to kill. We kill time by eating at this Village Inn every time we fly from DEN. Today we ate there and Larry was our server. He's an amazing server that could be at a 5 star high-end restaurant with his skills and personality.

Best manager in town. Staff is always friendly. Not a lot of new faces which is nice. Best Village inn I can think of.

Its your typical village inn. Kind waiter. Good food after dark.

This is your basic cookie cutter VI. The only problem I had was the hostess seated us next to a couple playing Rap music on their phones.

Good service , please clean the men's restroom a little more often

I waited for a server for over ten minutes. Even asked the host to get sone attention.

We like Village Inn and the (1) waiter/waitress tries, but seems like they need someone else at 6 a.m. to seat people, get drinks and help out. Noone is up front and there's people eating, people waiting, and the server seems a little stressed like there's a lot to do. No one else around. Frankly it feels awkward when, as a customer, I come in and wait 5 minutes with no one around except customers eating. When I'm eating and people are waiting, it makes me feel uncomfortable as well. Guess who gets the brunt of that... the waiter/waitress. That's not right.

I've been here before and it was been average. The last time we were there was likely the last. It took 45 minutes to get out food and some plates had clearly been even sitting in the heating window for a long time. I requested new eggs and fries be cooked for our meals, these never came. Our drinks were never refilled during the time we were there. There was clearly a problem with the kitchen staff, and thankfully we were not charged for our meal.

Good breakfast in walking distance from our hotel. Service was great

Stopped in for breakfast with my husband on a Saturday morning at about 9. We didn t have to wait more than five minutes for a table which was awesome. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean overall. Our food was fresh and tasted delicious.

Service was bad. One wait person trying to seat people, take orders, serve food AND do cash register. Left after standing in line waiting to be seated for OVER 10 minutes.

Had the Fish and Chips - which was perfectly cooked. Aso glad to find raspberry iced tea offered here.

We come out to Colorado every year and go to all the cool spots and this place was good our waiter Randall is the reason I'm even giving g this a review best service and all around nice guy very helpful and knows how to talk to people to make them feel welcome if you are near here stop In and ask for Randall leave him a big tip cause he definitely deserves it

This seems to be a trend, and I'm sure there is some restuarant explanation....Why have 18 open tables, yes I counted, and 10 groups waiting in the lobby for 25 minutes? I've never understood this? It's a Sunday at 930am, not hard to predict it will be busy and staff accordingly. Anyhow food was fine, just frustrating waiting for 25 minutes while half the restuarant is empty.

Customer service was awesome. However I ordered the fish and chips... the fish was under cooked and still had raw batter on the inside of the this crust layer that did cook. I asked for French toast as a substitute. I asked that it be boxed to go, as my company had already finished their food. It was just slipped in the box, with no fork no syrup no napkins.

Overall a good experience. Food was as expected for a chain restaurant. Server was good, coffee was hot and everything was done in a timely manner....
The issue I felt was that it seemed everyone was going through the motions and were overall disconnected from the people they were serving.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Fast quick and correct order.

The food was good and the staff were helpful and made sure we had an enjoyable visit. We had coffee and pie and had a great chat with some of the staff. We will be visiting again soon!

Charging a delivery fee, forcing customers to use Village Inn Website and then to turn around and send the order to a third party delivery service (Door Dash) is very unacceptable and wrong. If you are going to offer pickup and delivery, then you need to offer those same services for the third party websites. Absolutely horrible experience and price gouging.

They have updated the quality of the fun, and it is great!! If you haven't been in a while you owe it to your self to check it out.

The service was prompt and friendly. The menu is big, with a lot of choices. Everything looked good but, I settled for the clam chowder and Reuben Sandwich. Both were quite tasty and served in good sized portions. The pricing was reasonable and the restaurant was clean. I woukd definitely recomme d stopping here if you are looking for a good, fast meal.

Open thru covid. Close to hotel. Convenient location.

I have always enjoyed Village Inn ever since the early 70's when we would go in with friends and drink coffee for half a day. It's not the same now but good food and good service as usual when I visit Colorado

Like quite a bit of restaurants in the Green Valley Ranch/Gateway/Montbello area, it is not consistently good. We have gone for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have good experiences and bad experiences. The good and bad experiences have also been because of both the food and service. Sometimes the food is good but the service is not and sometimes the food is bad but the service is bad.

I ordered the waffle breakfast which included an egg and 2 bacon strips. I ordered the egg over easy. I received it over medium and it had a HAIR on it!!! When I told the waitress she apologized in a nonchalant manner; brought me another egg Over medium again I told her I wasn t going to eat it anymore and her response was do you want a to go box? I said no. Still got charged for the meal. Will never eat there again.

The French dip was awful. Especially the bread, it was so hard couldn't even bite into it after soaking in au jus . Server guy was great

This place was packed when we first walked in and I though NOPE but after reviewing their menu options I said ok lets give this play a try because the variety of food options is perfect. I DID NOT REGRET my decision, this place is amazing the service is polite attentive the food is hot and delicious and brought out in a timely manner they go above and beyond to make your experience their amazing and pleasurable and it was. Do yourself a favor EAT HERE!!

The manager Edgar, is a bad manager. He doesn't appreciate about nothing, behind doors he just a two-face. Never met a guy like Edgar. Worst manager.

5 stars based on the pie! I like a good pie sometimes but I'm kinda picky and don't ever have any that's good so I'm always like, eh, pie. I got a hankering for apple pie today and was told about village inn being known for theirs which was a shock to me! I was so skeptical but decided to give it a shot...I got apple, key lime, and coconut cream to try, all SO GOOD! I mean, nothing compares to mom's homemade apple pie but, these were so good and hit the approved spot for me. If I ever want pie, this is where I'm going from now on!!!

We ordered take out this morning and I included a tip before we ever picked up our food and I won't be doing this again. My husband ordered the French toast combo with sausage, they gave him bacon instead. I had the pick your own meal and included French toast as well. When we looked in the bag, they gave us 1 syrup for 2 people and no butter. Its so hard to order takeout and have people get your order right.

Food was pretty good but service was SLOW!!!! Ordered and waited over an hour for food that should have only take 20 minutes or less. People that came in after us got their food and left before our food even came out.

Every time I'm in Denver and U want a good breakfast, I eat here. Always good, clean, friendly and an enjoyable meal.

Excellent for a fast dinner before our flight. Service was great. Food was excellent for a Village Inn type restuarant

Not only do they have great food but it where I meet my Wife.
