Editing to respond to the extremely unprofessional...
Editing to respond to the extremely unprofessional comment from the owner (and to deduct the extra star they were holding onto until now): as you all can see, he is CONTINUING to argue with the customer, and accuse us of lying. Let me be clear: We. Did. Not. Use. The. Minibar. We didn't drink any water, soda, alcohol, or anything else from the refrigerator because there was NOTHING in there except for a can of regular coke and Monster, neither of which either of us drink. In fact, we put our own groceries in the refrigerator because there was so much room for other items. Our fridge was not stocked, and based on these reviews it appears we are not the only customers who they have attempted to charge weeks after checking out. You can see the owners of this establishment will call you a liar and refuse to own up to their own mistakes. We pay for services we USE, not for things we are accused of using because the hotel staff failed to stock the bar. Here are other things they failed to do, by the way: give us more than one room key for two guests, give us a towel for the bathroom floor to avoid getting water all over the shower, give us sheets that were not stained, shall I continue?
Original post TLDR: We stayed at this hotel, was pleasant until we got home to a $32 charge for the minibar. We weren't even aware there was a minibar option, considering there were two loose cans in the refrigerator that we thought were left by the previous guests. When we called to explain that we did not drink anything from the room, the owner argued with my boyfriend, called us liars (which is now documented in writing in the below comment) and said the only thing we could do was dispute the charge on our credit card. Non-existent customer service. Don't stay here unless you want mysterious charges popping up on your card weeks after your stay.
