An institution! Friendly staff, fresh, big serves of food. Clean and really a nice atmosphere too.

Place is great. 24/7, wide variety of foods available, decent coffee, friendly staff. The atmosphere is also good.

Serves it purpose, late night hands with friends when everything else is closed and you don't want McDonald's or Hungry Jacks.

Edit - after going for years, had a terrible experience with the staff and the fact they completely brushed me off and served other people who had just walked in after me and I'd been waiting for a good 15 mins.

Ordered pancakes with some other people, there's came out while we waited another 30 minutes. Customer service was terrible.

My mother and I have been waiting for half an hour for a croissant and 2 coffees, not happy. But they apologised and gave us free donuts.

The Big Breakfast is just that, a BIG Breakfast, and very nice too. Staff are great

Waited an hour for our breakfast. Asked how much longer, lady was quite rude. Wouldn't come back here in a hurry

My son and I always love going to cafe Dr villiis love their tuna morna and their cakes and coffee my son loves their pie chips gravy and cakes my beautiful daughter Caroline and I and my beautiful future daughter in law cody always go when they visit us when they come over for a visit as they live in Sydney

It's very hit and miss here, mostly miss. Pies are ok. Everything else usually very ordinary. I'm such of getting reheated hours old chips and dodgy lettuce as an excuse for a meal I'm paying over $15 for

I love the baked goods here, they always taste fresh. When I order their meals the portions are always generous and will fill you up. Low prices but the food is quality, always open only thing I don't like is it can sometimes be busy and when it is, staff are keen to get to the next customer, making the experience feel rushed.

It was a restaurant that you can eat cheaply, but it is full of salads mainly because it has a large amount.

Always a great choice of foods here.

Love Vili's? This will be a favourite - you're there for the food not the decor. Be careful of busy periods because line can spill out of the front door at times.

For the more adventurous, try the pie floater with a curry pie. So good.

Love the vilis burger. Great value for money and is always well prepared. Staff are helpful and friendly. Can get quite busy.

The customer service is lovely, the food is good as always. More vegetarian options would be an idea to be considered for the menu s diversity. Dine in experience is okay. I once have food with my close mate outside table, and they are late in providing the food, however they give us extra stuff and do apologise so we really appreciated these kind deeds.

Cafe De Vili's is an Adelaide institution. Hot food, cold beer, great service, 24 hours a day.

Great thing about Vili s is that it s open 24/7 which is handy after a late night concert if feeling a little hungry. Have been here during various times of the day and evening to grab a quick bite to eat or a drink. Service is fast considering it s always super busy. Nice staff! Rebecca is especially friendly and hospitable.

Change prices rapidly cherry slice goes from 3.60 to 4.70 in one sentence. It is my opinion the charge whatever they have on the tip of thier tongue unless the price is clearly advertised.

the coffee was unbelievably hot and burnt my mouth. Very disappointed as it s shouldn t be hotter than 70 degrees unless asked otherwise.

This branch of Villis has the slowest service I have encountered anywhere. It seems like they don't care about the customer. I have been coming here over the years and it just doesn't seem to get any better. Today is the last and final time I will come here as I walked out after waiting for 10-15 mins. There were about 6 staff and only 1 customer in front of me.
The Villis store on Main North Rd has an excellent service and the staff are friendly and efficient but I think this store needs an overhaul of the management.

The staff are always friendly, and service is usually fast. But essentially it's sub par, fish and chip shop grub with a high price tag. A lot of menu choices look to be microwaved from frozen, then stuck under a grill for a few minutes before being served. Burgers and sandwiches are bland and tasteless, the curries and pasta are embarrassingly terrible, and even the chips aren't good. Traditional Vilis products like pies, pasties and desserts are on offer, and are probably your best choice. Go there only if there are absolutely no other cafes or restaurants open, and stick to a Vilis pie or pasty, a bit of cake, or a hot chocolate.

Awesome place great food and it's always open what's not to love

Convenient and quick, we dine here a lot as it is kid friendly environment, stop in for a casual meal.
Unfortunately the pastries & meals ordered don t always taste fresh. Some occasions the food tastes great - It s a hit and miss.
Ample quick drinks and ice blocks on offer too. Coffee is ok but don t expect the best for the price.

Waited over 20 minutes for a coffee in a mug and got it served in a take away cup. What a dump, next time I'll grab a coffee at the servo.

Best place in Adelaide for late night meals. Every time I come back from an interstate or overseas trip I would go here. They are also one of the only places that were opened for meals during the recent statewide blackout! Kudos to the staff here for being so patience
