Best Engineering college in Mysore and faculty are good and very supportive. It's surrounding is greenery and campus is very spacious.There is basketball ground gym and campus constitute 102 acres.

Sri Jayachamarajendra college of Engineering (JSS Science and Technology University) is the best college in Namma Mysuru!

Beautiful campus, nice classmates, importance to sports and extra-curricular activities, affiliations with IEEE and other research institutes, most of the staff are good and generally understanding, overall, a lovely place to study.

This is possibly the worst and most overrated college in karnataka .The faculty feels that they are geniuses whereas they don't even possess minimum standards .It feels like we are in our primary school .They do 3 internals here and all of them are of no use.People who come here are from relatively poor background preferring this college for low fees .Mysore as a place does not have many places and great restaurants to visit.This college does not have many cultural clubs and bands too.People who come here are reluctant to spend .Any college in Bangalore would do good than this place .People come mostly from small towns or villages .So it's my sincere advice not to join this college at any cost

Join only if you are going for Engineering. MCA and other course's students are treated as unwanted elements and even principal and most faculty members give step motherly treatment. In placements MCA students are not allowed or mostly ignored.

Almost perfect college which u can hardly find in Mysore.Formerly know by Sri Jayachamarajendra college of engineering(SJCE).One of the most important things that account for the college's popularity are the type of students and alumni it has..and in this case it is the best as per my knowledge.Seniors are very helpful and you also develop implictly to develop such a good behaviour to react to others.The hostel of the college is also doing it's job fine in providing a good stay and good food for over 800 students.There are many clubs to keep u engaged and prepare you for campus interviews and other stuff.These clubs have been very helpful in flourishing the talents of young minds..Overall you will never regret for getting admitted to this college

Spreading over 150acres, campus accommodates many schools. One can enjoy life easily while studying. Most of the passed out students cherish memories for their lifetime as JCE becomes an emotion. Places like YAMPA, Nescafe, Basketball ground. After graduation, teachers have become friends. SJCE is now JSSSTU

The best college for CS and IS engineering in our state. It was too old and too good college in our society. About 200+ companies are visiting the college for placement. It was fomous for discipline as well as enjoyment. It was very good campus, have seperate blocks for each branch. It has several clubs. It has a very good ground for games.. In cet we got less than 5k ranking then only u got seat in thi institute

SJCE is good for placement. But not for teaching. But as u know all top colleges are famous for placement only not for teaching. Between you will definitely enjoy ur 4 years in Mysore.

Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering which was the dream child of Dr Sri Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamigalavaru the 23rd pontiff of Suttur Matt was officially inaugurated in 1963 by Dr. T. M. A. Pai, who was the then Chairman of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education.[6] Courses in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering branches were started first. The first batch of engineering graduates completed their course in 1968.[7] Electronics and Communication branch of engineering was introduced in 1968 followed by bachelor's degree in Instrumentation in 1978, Computer Science and Engineering during 1982, Polymer Science and Technology in 1992 and Information Science and Engineering in the year 2000.[8]

I'm a student of Environmental engineering department of JSS STU. The condition of laboratory is very poor. There are no reagents and equipment available to even complete the curriculum.

Good college for higher studies like BE , ME etc..

This is my Alma Mater, obviously I have good things to say about this school. Campus has grown a lot compared to when I was in this school. Still there is that old fighter plane in the middle of the campus. Campus is well maintained, buildings still look new. There are lot of trees in the campus.

One of the best colleges in Karnataka...campus is big and beautiful..
Circuit branches (CS , IS , EC) have better opportunities and scope here for placements.
Non circuit branches (Mech, Civil , IP) have lower scope here and not upto the mark.

The teaching is not that good and the students have to study by themselves.

The administration is horrible. I have had several experience where in the college did not care about the students' interest and their career.
