I'm helping a construction company migrate Viewpoint's Spectrum software from one server to another - the ticket for help was submitted on December 23 and neither I or the customer has heard from Viewpoint tech support one week later. You can't call the tech support directly - you submit a ticket and hope they respond. If you depend on your accounting software to have good support, I'd recommend looking at other options.

We began using Viewpoint software in 2013. Once we had finished the conversion process, the level of customer service declined to nothing. We have no way to verbally talk to anyone. We are not assigned an account rep that can help us escalate issues in any way. I have repeatedly opened trouble tickets and not heard from anyone for days and even sometimes weeks in response. The software is pretty good, but with no support, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Most customers are very unhappy with the long delays getting a reply. A manager once said that customers are used to very long delays and bad service. Sales might be nice but support is very slow and problems often take weeks or months to resolve.

Employees are essentially robots. Management plays favoritism. Long time employees can do whatever they want. New employees are micromanaged and terminated without warning. Nobody speaks their mind for fear of getting fired. Very low morale. Working here or being a customer is a big mistake. Absolutely horrible company.

5 star reviews are from employees. That is expected since they are getting a paycheck. Most customers give 1 star.

Look at reviews on Glassdoor. 2 stars, 30% recommend, 30% like it, so more than half are miserable. That should tell you something.

I had a meeting with Brenda in HR once. She was very rude and unprofessional. Wouldn't listen to what I had to say, only listened to what another person said, very unfriendly demeanor, and made it clear in body language and gestures that she was in charge and nothing I said during our meeting mattered. Linkedin shows she is HR Director now, which tells me another thing about Viewpoint, they support her attitude. She is the rudest HR person I have ever spoken with in my career.

I have no idea why anybody would do business with this unprofessional company that treats customers and employees like trash.
