I returned for my second time and had a blast and won over 250$ had a blast unlike other rip off casinos. I love this casino. The only thing its a bit far from my house but worth every penny will return here shortly a definite must go to place if you like making money that is.
The new upgraded area's are gorgeous as hell. It reminds me of Las Vegas Casinos!!! Great jobs Viejas!!!

Had a great time. I think it's the best Indian casino in San Diego area. Only problem was all the construction going on, but when it's finished it'll be better than ever. Just hope the quality doesn't drop. Bigger is not necessarily better. Personnel, security, food all top notch. The buffet was delicious, great variety and all you can drink beer and wine, great deal. If you like the California casinos this one is one of the best!! Loved it! Keep it up Viejas!
Excellent hotel near the mountains, excellent all services, good buffet, good restaurants, valet, comfortable rooms with excellent bathroom, highly recommended.
Been coming here for years. The players card/comp sucks. We got a silver card a few years back and there's no benefit compared to bronze. The last several times we tried to get comp they told us no. We used to get free buffets and food comp but no more. When we go every weekend on Friday and Saturday nights. Sucks.
The buffet was cool besides all the chocolate infused dishes..
For someone that has difficulty breathing due to smoke; that is not the place, but it is fun.
It was okay, people were losing all around me and I lost too until I left and went to Barona. Before i did the staff seemed like they were run by crappy or stressed out management or higher ups. The staffs morale was extremely low and it was obvious to see it.
My girlfriend's and I took the bus from the palomar trolley station, and it took us an hour to get there!... got there played a little danced and had a drink had a very nice time and took the last bus at 11pm back to palomar trolley station... I will do this again because it was very convenient not have to drive, we were able to just enjoy the ride...

Went there for dinner at an Asian restaurant. We knew exactly what we wanted when ordering at the counter, nevertheless it took several minutes for the cashier to take the order and accept payment. We ordered an appetizer and was told they had run out so we were offered fried rice with the entree as a substitute. It took 50 minutes for our food to arrive, minus the fried rice and drinks we ordered. I told the server that the fried rice we ordered was missing and she just said no. The plate of lo mein was was decent tasting but not enough and we left still hungry. The room my friend had was beautiful and very clean. The housekeepers we encountered were friendly and helpful.
We absolutely love going to the Cafe located in Viejas! The food is good, prices are good but the best part is seeing Liz, the waitress. She is so bubbly and happy to see us every time. We request to sit in her section every time because she is the best. She makes our choice of where to go to eat very easy. Thank you Liz!
It is very clean and well kept. The rooms are ok... small and nothing impressive. We asked for extra pillows because the room only comes with 2. But we were only allowed 2 more. I have a bad back. So had an awful night of sleep. We went out for breakfast. When we came back from breakfast we could not get into our room. We went back downstairs and then went back upstairs and it still didn't work. Apparently the battery needed to be replaced. An hour later we could finally get into our room. It was not fun standing there for an hour waiting. Just do not leave important medications in your room. Everyone was nice. We understand things happen. But we decided to just check out a day early. Needless to say we did not have fun.
Went on a Friday for the lobster buffet. Food tasted great!
They can be slightly snobish. They tend to want you to gamble gamble gamble then leave quickly. Overall its a great casino.
The casino floor is really jive with modern games, the don't really monitor smoking and nonsmoking sections which is a bummer but other than that, it's gambling and it's pretty fun and the staff seem friendly
First timer! Had fun! The best time to go is in the morning as it's less crowded and the fwy is a nice smooth ride. Lot's of good games.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great price and only 30 minutes from the San Diego beaches and zoo etc. Starbucks inside, a nice cafe, an Asian restaurant, and a steakhouse. Even had a nice outlet mall across the street. Room was very nice and clean. I would definitely recommend trying this place. So glad I found it.
They treat me good, with me it's not just about winning. I mean hitting a jackpot is great, but my traveling all the way from Prescott valley az ought to tell u something.

First time there had a good time it was really nice and clean had a great time .won some lost some but left there happy by knowing that I had a wonderful time an experience at the resort itself, oh yeah and one more thing they had a wonderful spectacular fireworks show that was out of this world, you get to see what 50,000 fireworks look like and sound like close up.
Id love it alot more if they changed the carpet . or better placement of games so. It feels more welcoming
As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is very welcoming. The new viejas is so beautiful, and the food is excellent. The entertainment at the new dreamcatcher is exciting, you want to dance all night and play slots or poker too.
There is not a well defined area for nonsmokers as it used to be. The area starting from the escalator (the one going to the second floor) to the buffet entrance, used to be for nonsmokers but if it still is the regulations do not exist anymore.
Ate at the buffet. Wonderful selection of food. All the crab you can eat too. Use your players card for a discount on the buffet. Casino fun after eating.
Viejas is not my personal favorite casino, however it has been remodeled, added more slots, tablet games and it has concerts often.

My husband and I just went in for the buffet and the line was a bit time consuming getting a new card, but the buffet was worth the wait.

If you're looking to eat here then make reservations at one of their expensive restaurants because only if you get in line for the buffet 2-3 hours before you'd like to eat will you be able to actually get into the buffet to eat.

Their was only one lady out of the staff who was nice and she was room service . The bartender was really rude and snatched my mom's drink out her hand because it took her a couple minutes to fund her card and the lady also yelled at her . But that's not it I walked down stairs barefoot to get something from the snack area and another lady (security gard ) gave me attitude and told me I can't be down stairs like that and I need to go upstairs right away . So that's why I gave 2 stars .
The Viejas Buffet was great. The food was delicious and I can't wait to go again.
The executive suite is superb in design and amenities. HUGE bathroom with soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. Limited channel lineup if that matters to you. The A/C gave us problems with temperature control. ANY setting is cold. Pool water was cold, too cold.
Location is not that far from the main San Diego hub and is going away from traffic at rush hour if coming from the west going east. Great buffet with wine and beer included is a big plus that the other casino buffets don't have. It's a great place to entertain guests.
My host Suzanne Ferreri is the best! The staff are very good in cleaning and sanitizing the machines and the reatrooms.

the casino area is nice. there are a large variety of machines to play and places to eat. there is also an area where you can get free beverages such as soda or water.
Stayed for the first time earlier this week. Loved it! The rooms were great, beds were amazing, room service was delicious, and service was excellent. Definitely staying here again soon!
Very bad food the seafood were in bad condition we ablamos with a Filipina who ordered and gave us a very stupid answer we visited this place 2 times a week but we will not come back anymore nor recommend it never very bad service of the manager

I'd have given it 4 Stars but for 2 things:
1) It seems as though they're constantly rearranging their machines, & I feel like I waste FAR too high a percentage of my time *searching* for "our" machines. & every time they're moved, some are eliminated because they're replaced by the newer machines.
We 'gamely' give these new machines a shot, but their minimum bet is higher & their payouts are lower, causing us to run out of money significantly faster. Whereas we used to be able to spend hours playing, on our most recent visit together (7/11/18), by the time I found a couple machines we didn't hate, made it through the VClub line (to correct my email address & grab an extra Player's Card), got change, & rejoined my friend at those machines, she was ALREADY out of money & ready to go.
I had yet to put in a single penny.
2) With all of the expansion, they've set it up to where there's a chunk of space for Smoking, followed by one for Non-Smoking, followed again by Smoking, then Non-, & so on. As my gambling "buddy" is disabled & doesn't walk well, once we've exhausted our particular section it's very difficult to make it through to the next Smoking section (she's a smoker), & we have to take frequent breaks.
To make matters worse, navigating the new section takes a lot out of her/us. And since so many of the good machines have been eliminated, we far too often find ourselves unable to find anything to play.
Unfortunately the resulting exertion means we have no choice but to stay in that section til she's recovered enough to try to begin the overwhelming process all over again & journey to the next Smoking section.
This results in settling for SOMETHING to play, but again, all these newer machines require a higher minimum bet & we'll often go through an entire $20 without a SINGLE win that matches (or exceeds!) that minimum bet.
If we were rich & putting in $100 bills at a time, sure, we'd eventually hit *something* because we DO see it happen. But instead of feeding the machines $100 bills over a long enough period to "hit" something, for us $100 is our MAX budget for the ENTIRE day.
And it's not at all uncommon (esp while waiting in a line) to watch someone feed a machine $100 & watch their credit balance reach $0 BEFORE we've even made it through the line!
The last time we went together, the banks & banks of our fave machines had dwindled down to exactly 2 machines remaining. They're not even side-by-side, hampering the camaraderie that's always been around 90% of the fun. The whole point of going (for us) is for fun & entertainment. Not sitting together ruins it for us.
Fun hotel, casino with great restaurant. Staff was great and the bed was comfortable.

Went to Viejas Casino and ate at the buffet. A very large selection to choose from. The desserts we're delicious. It was busy so the removal of empty plates was a little slow but otherwise it was a very good experience and would definitely recommend it.

Viejas is always a fun casino to visit. Win or lose, my husband and I always have a great time. The staff is great , too! I always get a hot dog when we go because the woman that runs it has always been very nice.
