Our group of 6 had a wonderful time at Aliotti's! We had a large group, and a few of us had heavy accents, but the staff was gracious and accommodating to all of our questions and requests. The menu was solidly based on classics, but with interesting little twists on them that made it really hard to pick what to have. I finally settled on an omelette and I was not disappointed. They took so much care with every aspect of our food - even our fruit bowls were arranged like tiny pieces of art. I hope I can come back again!

This is my new favorite place for Brunch! Their hashbrowns are to die for, they have handmade puree for mimosas (the blood orange is divine) and their bloody Mary's are amazing. So glad my bf and I discovered this place. We'd been looking for THE breakfast spot out here in the Peninsula and we found it in Aliotti's! It's been our go to now for Breakfast out since!

THE best eggs Benedict's ever!! Hash browns were beyond this world, fresh, hot, crispy, TASTEY! Went great with the blood orange mamosa. Husband was nuts over the homemade apple pie. This is now our go'to place in downtown Pacific Grove.

Located in an older style building in downtown Pacific Grove. Usually much shorter line than "the popular brunch place" near the aquarium. Excellent service. Good food. They have interesting breakfast items like calamari and eggs which is a calamari steak with your choice of eggs. They do a competent huevos rancheros.

Everything is authentic, absolutely delicious. Everyone's very nice and kind. Family owned, old fashioned. Pictures of what Pacific Grove used to look like and they tell you history if you ask. Hopefully they're not busy.

The restaurant is on an older building and is nicely decorated but but has an old place smell which was a bit of a turn off when we walked in. The staff were very nice, but the food was not very good. It was well made but they used cheep ingredients and the coffee was terrible. I did not think it was worth it.

My wife had breakfast and I had lunch. We shared and were very pleased overall. There was a lot of variety on the menu - something for everyone. She had the pancakes, which were prepared just right. I had a pretty fantastic meatball sandwich. My only complaint is the tiny handful of fries that came with my plate. I am looking forward to going back for one of their burgers. I overheard the server telling someone that the patties are made to order. That's worth a try!

ITALIAN CHARM ! My wife and I found this restaurant after walking out because of rude service at a well known cafe down the street. We walked into the outdoor dining patio and were embraced with loving attention by the owner / founder Paul Aliotti within seconds of sitting at a table. That's what I'm talkin' about ! A lovely server named Rhonda looked after us from the get go when we ordered 2 x Lattes, 1 x Fresh Orange Juice, 1 x Eggs Benedict ( hard poached ) & 1 x The Dooling ( Bacon, Eggs, Fruit ) My wife's Latte came out courtesy of Rhonda and Paul the owner fetched my Latte for me. They use a Nespresso machine here but hey our lovely Lattes came in elegant glasses instead of cruddy paper cups. Paul and I had a real friendly chat...wow 43 years in the restaurant business is a great achievement ! Actually they have a B&B upstairs too. My glass of fresh Orange Juice hit the table and tasted great. Our breakfast dishes came out together and looked spectacular. Paul also introduced us to his son Domenic who virtually runs the restaurant these days with his wife Mary. Our breakfast meals tasted extraordinary..top quality ingredients and very well prepared. We had a very enjoyable time here and vowed to return !

The restaurant does need a little decoration, as it looks a little old at the moment, especially next to a few of the close by establishments, but please dont let this put you off. Our server Linzi(hope is spelt it corrently) was great, very freindly in a sincere way.

The food was very good, portion sizes were comparable to other local establishments, but was a little cheaper.

Please dont feel you need to stand in a queue for your breakfast, just drop in here.

Food is always great, but haven't had the best service.. last time we went our drinks sat empty while all the waitresses chatted and laughed it up by the cash registers.. bit disappointing there.

Delicious breakfast. Outdoor seating in the sun. It was pretty hot but the food was good. We had the Pancake combo, scrambled eggs and pancakes, with a side of homemade potatoes and substitute hamburger patty. Patty had the grill flavor, did not need to add seasoning or sauces to anything. Everything was fresh tasting. I will definitely go again when in the area. Oh and our waitress Alisia was Awesome!!! Great personality and although they were very busy she was timely and personal.

I had brunch with my partner today and we were a little dissatisfied. The food was ok but what were we shocked about was the bill. The price of the special was very expensive. We were not told the price but after looking at the menu which the average price was around 13-15 we didn t expect a $24 egg dish. The ribeye and eggs were $19. If the price difference would have been stated he probably would have changed his mind. Not because of the price itself but because it was so outrageous for that dish. The server girl was ok but she definitely should have stated the prices when she talked about each special. I honestly thought it might have been a mistake but it wasn t. Well I guess next time I should ask about pricing but also some of that information should be made clear ahead of time. *edit.. I m sorry you are seemingly upset about all of this. I wasn t trying to insult your server or your business. Yes he ordered it but honestly now the most disappointing problem seems to be your response to negative or constructive feedback. I looked at other reviews of the restaurant to make sure this wasn t an isolated incident as for the food but it seems the most noted responses are from you. Instead of back lash you might want to reevaluate the approach you send back to feedback given to you.

My first visit to Pacific Grove and I was drawn to Aliotti s Victorian Corner...now I know why. Exceptional service and exquisite food! I ordered the butternut squash and substituted bolognese sauce for the Alfredo. It was excellent. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming...just like an Italian home should be! Grazie

A companion and I visited Aliotti s Victorian Corner last Friday while we were attending the Monterrey Film Festival. We landed here after checking out a few other establishments in the area and boy are we glad we found this establishment!

My companion was initially disappointed because he did not see what he was craving on the menu, Chicken Paccati. However, after asking our host about it, she made a quick check and sure enough, they said they would be happy to make it! I ordered the lasagna with a side salad, curious if the lasagna would be better than my own.

While we were waiting for the meal, we experienced the best garlic toast I have ever tasted in my life! Moreover, when the meals arrived, we were both very impressed and amazed. My companion said that his meal was one of the best he has ever had the Chicken Paccati was moist all the way through and the vegetables were not over cooked, or under cooked, and were seasoned perfectly this coming from a guy who doesn t eat his vegetables. I hate to admit it, but the lasagna was WAY better than my own!

During the meal one of the owners, (the owners are a cute and obviously in love couple by the way) checked in on us to see how the meal was and of course we had nothing but praise.

Since visiting Victoria Corner I made mention of the experience to at least four of my closest friends who have been visiting the Monterrey area over the past week.

Stopped in here for Breakfast French (victorian) toast was delicious and moist in the center as it should be. The waiter was great. He was a nice smiling friendly man. If we are ever back in Pacific Grove will be back... maybe for lunch or dinner.

Wonderful corner restaurant with a very caring, personable staff. Generous portions, great service, charming decor . . . Relaxing home feel. Thank you for an excellent evening for our last night of vacation.

The venue feels like eating at home. They puree fresh raspberries for the pancakes and use fresh powdered sugar on the French Toast. I subtract one star for the diner quality coffee. For its location and top quality menu offerings, they really should offer better than the brown flavorless water. The staff seem to take pride in their service and make recommendations and engage patrons. For its pretentious, classical, facade, you'll be happy to find d a warm and welcoming venue with the best country fried steak special I've had in the Bay

I just finished dining here. The entire experience made me feel like the waitress was entirely focused on up-selling and not the well being of her customers. Such is the way of the industry I guess. Her names was Brittany, and I think she should have been more transparent about the stark difference in prices. Most things on the menu were under $13. The dish I was persuaded to order was $23. Naturally I wasn t made aware of this until the the check was handed to me. I won t be coming back. Thanks so much, Brittany.

P. S.

The owner seems to me to be completely unreceptive to actually resolving any issues. I have no doubt they would rather sarcastically insinuate that I m unreasonable for daring to express dissatisfaction than reevaluating their purposely misleading selling practices.

Furthermore, I thought I was unreasonable myself until I looked at the equally sarcastic responses to other dissatisfied guests complaints... including the response to my partner s review.

I just know that I won t be coming back. Had I said something in the restaurant I most undoubtedly would have been met with the same sass and utter dismissal. At least this way there is a record for all to see which would hopefully give the owner a chance to reconsider their tone and word choice.
