Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre Brandon Review

The room was decent. Bed was a bit soft for my liking. The shower was fancy but a bit lacking on water pressure.

We went for brunch which was good but did not have everything that was at the last one so it wasn't as big of a selection. It was good over all it ended quick I thought but good over all.

I was visiting the yearly pavilions in town. It was a good venue.

I was there for a staff party. We were in the Imperial Ballroom. The food provided was delicious. As well as the bartending service catering service, DJ service, and MC service. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Had a great time.

Hotel was clean. Always check the online rates, when I called they told me the room costs $125 a night but their website said $105 a night. My room was next to the stairwell so it was a loud night. Room heater was very noisy when it comes on. Hot tub was nice.

Pizza was a little undercooked, but the service was amazing and the rest of our food was good. Drinks seemed a little strong, but not overpriced.

We had the breakfast buffet with a large group. The food was good and what you would expect. At the omlet bar there needed to be another element so the cook could do more than one at a time. The service was ok, the servers were nice but I had to ask two different servers for hot water.

Nice hotel, nothing fancy. Staff were great, texted me shortly after checking in to see if there are any concerns. Very clean, bathroom fixtures we new and modern. Swimming pool is small, but nice hot tub. Good atmosphere. Complimentary breakfast included in sit down restaurant, with actual breakfast choices and beverage included. Thanks!

Very good hotel for the value. Decent location, great guest service. Restaurant is great and breakfast is included. There is a pool in the center of the hotel. Very clean. If you have a center room the humidity of the pool can be a bit much. Bathroom are great with a walk in shower. Heater in room however is noisy.

Attended the Rotary Club book sale here and the place seemed clean and well maintained.

Just had my wedding there, the staff was great and the rooms were perfect. Would recommend.

The hotel is further in Brandon however it is close to a lot of amenities. They have a good option for breakfast in the morning that are included. As well as a Great Buffet breakfast on the weekend. they have a pool, hot tub and exercise room. Ice machines and drink machines on each floor. Ample free parking. Great service all around.

We attended their sunday brunch following a family gathering. We had requested to have a private space booked and we were in a room off the main dining area, it was perfect. They were able to walk though the brunch buffet with our guests to accommodate allergies.

Great rooms, clean, comfortable beds, nice pool, hot tub, and gym area. Restaurant food is great. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Brandon.

Service was great, shower was broken but still worked. They always take cash, that's a large part of my reason for staying at vic inn

I stayed at the Victoria Inn Hotel for a work trip and was very happy with the room and facilities. The room was spacious and equipped with a fridge, microwave and TV. The bed was very soft, but very comfortable, as were the pillows. The quilt on the beds is the perfect weight for all weather. The air conditioning unit was easy to use and worked much better than most hotels. It also isn't programmed to turn off on you in the middle of the night, which was a pleasant surprise. Despite being in a pool side, first floor room with an adjoining door the room was very quiet! There was some door slamming noise in the afternoon and early evening, but nothing while trying to sleep. The room was very clean upon arrival and when we took the please do not disturb sign down for maid service, we came back to a shiny and spotless room and everything in its place as we left it. The bathroom is modern and has heated floors! The shower has a fancy set up with rainfall overhead spray, wand spray and body spray options. I did have a hard time turning the temperature knob, as the "button" on ours seemed faulty. The sink also did not drain well. Oh well, small things. Parking was ample and check in was easy, even though we had some confusion over the company card on file Courtney took care of everything seamlessly for us. The hotel had a restaurant I have yet to try and a pool area so nicely attended, I was tempted by it. Great place for business, family or a weekend away. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Poor Front Desk Service, Failure to Follow up with Customer Requests and a WAY Overpriced Restaurant.

Very nice, updated and modern rooms. We had a pool side room and there is noise but the pool closes at 11pm so it is quiet after then.

They gave me a room next to the staircase which kids ran up and down all night. No bathtub just a shower however no hot water or water pressure. Clearly hadn t cleaned the carpet because someone dirty earplug is lying there. For $168 a night, not exactly worth the money.

Very nice Hotel. I've always been impressed by the quality of service received. Rooms are clean and well decorated. (Executive King Room) The restaurant has a great staff and excellent food. I'm looking forward to my next stay here.

Great service & great food. Most of our time was spent in a board room, little cramped & extremely uncomfortable chairs

It s an older hotel but nicely renovated with rain shower but low water pressure. Beds comfortable. Dining room nice but food average. Difficult to find hotel and NOT located along the Trans-Canada Highway as advertised.

We stay at the Victoria Inn every August while attending an annual conference.

It's a great hotel. The staff are kind and attentive, the rooms are decently appointed for a 3 star place and very clean, and the complimentary breakfast is always good.

While we stay for work, we always feel like we are having a vacation while staying at the Victoria Inn.

Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

They let us stay a little late in pool area. Clean and great bed. Slept well!

Restaraunt has horrible service and messed up our orders two days in a row. Staff was more concerned with thier cell phones then the customers. Room was ok but the hot tub was closed. We will not be staying here again, for the price we paid we expect better service. Not happy at all.

Salon rooms were very nice and are great for holding functions.

Hotel layout is a little odd, showers are really good, restaurant is expensive and mediocre.

Went for a professional fundraising event. The food, service, and staff were all excellent! In addition to the numerous other events I've attended there, I can't think of a time I've walked away disappointed.

Room is nice and renovated but pool is loud with kids.

Came here to rest early morning and they gave me suit option which was one of there top rooms, I maybe slept for 3 hours until all the pool noise woke me up . I clearly told the front desk I didn t want to be disturbed so give me a quite room,this was worst sleep I could get overlooking the pool.

It's clean, friendly, the pool facility and slide are lovely..oh and the heated floors in the room bathrooms is to adore.

I was volunteering at the English Pavilion and very much enjoyed the music and watching people dance.

Rooms were comfortable and pool and poolsite restaurant has great view.

Lots of parking space easy to access. Full breakfast included. Meeting room was spacious enough, temperature fluctuated a bit throughout the day. No bath tub in the room.

Hotel was clean and busy (all good). However I found the scented detergents on the sheets very strong and the beds way too soft.

Arrived to discover a planned power outage had been prearranged. I had prepaid. Hotel was without power from the moment I arrived until 130 am. No AC made the room unbelievably hot. Management decision to allow bookings knowing no power is criminal. Worst stay ever in a hotel in Canada. Normally a good hotel. Last night a sweat box where a security guard with flashlight took me to my room. Power came back on, hotel Lit up like a bomb went off. Why did they allow bookings? Waiting for apology and refund.

Had a wonderful stay at the Victoria Inn for job training, great staff, wonderful service and a very professional atmosphere.

Their swimming pool are nice it's nice to relax but I find their room small.

Very clean and quiet. Even got a discounted rate. A little more pricey than other motels but worth it. They even had an iron and ironing board and body jets in the shower. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were ok, but the bed was horrible. We used the large banquet room and it turns out it is in a separate building. Staff were nice but we always had to run out of something and tell them, as opposed to the staff monitoring things. Sound and sightlines are an issue. Very helpful staff.

The outside of this hotel was a bit misleading, looking at the building you don't expect the hotel to be as nice as it is. The staff were very friendly, the rooms incredibly clean and very beautiful, the pool is nice. Seems like a family friendly place but our stay was pleasantly quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice place. Very busy. Nice people. The DVD player I couldn't get to work. If you are thinking of booking with Expedia get a quote and they will price match and give you a free breakfast for 2. The hallways had a faint smell of cigarettes.
