Can I give this place 0 stars? I am a qualified therapist who went there for what I thought was a job interview and trade test. Instead of giving me an interview and watching my treatments, the manager left me to work unsupervised on paying clients for a whole afternoon. I was offered a job on the condition that I did what he called another "trial day". This is not standard industry practice. I could have been anybody working on these paying clients and the manager wouldn't have known any better. He barely said two words to me. For someone who does not follow a standard recruitment proceedure, I don't think that clients are getting the best (especially when you consider what they pay for the treatments). King Street Clinic puts a recruitment advert up on gumtree every month or so and I think this speaks volumes about staff turnover. If you aren't investing in your staff then you're not investing in yor clients. I think clients should be made aware of this when choosing which spa/salon to go to. (I suspect that it goes without saying but after witnessing one afternoon of substandard practice, I withdrew my application from King Street Clinic).
................................I wrote the above review ages ago (summer 2011). I am including this note on here now as I notice that what used to be called "King Street Clinic" now appears to have rebranded itself as "King Street Medi Spa". It appears to be the same thing but with a different name. I suspect they are attempting to rebrand themselves after aquiring such a bad reputation as "King Street Clinic" through reviews such as the ones on here.
