Great music, too few people unfortunately because of Corona, but Vera is beautiful!

Top tent! Be sure to come there a few times a month. Already had a lot of legendary parties here.

Really nice club ! They have multiple different events, such as Loft. And if you look up their site it gives you all the correct information you want for instance a detailed agenda where you can find all the different dates and performances and what the cost etc. I would highly recommend Loft its amazing and great fun ?

Vera is not only a common name. It is also super cool! Wide variety of bands and music! Having said that I ran into a nice woman here but lost her name. Send me a message please I'm desperate.

Over the years, many promising artists have been on the vera stage that later broke through internationally: U2 (1980), Nirvana (1989), Pearl Jam (1992) and Franz Ferdinand (2004).

Great place with many beautiful memories. For often small prices you can enjoy great performances here. Nice atmosphere, nice volunteers.

Would you like a nice evening with a nice environment and nice people then go here. Great variation in events and performances for everyone. With great pleasure I go to parties like loft & breakfast. Prices of the drinks are also very reasonable.

Very good live music club. Historical, with two rooms, a big one upstairs and a small basement downstairs. The list of bands that played here over the years is impressive. Very good sound system as well.

Alternative entertainment venue. Beer and soft drinks are cheaper here than elsewhere.

Awesome venue. Very intimate. The parking sucks, but not the venue's fault. Drinks are reasonably priced. Grab a kebab before or after the show. Bring a coin for the coat check. My second favorite venue in NL.

Live music venue. An institution. Nirvana played there. 3-4 shows a week. If you into live music and are in Groningen go.

Good place for all kinds of bands. In Vera you can taste music history.

Nice big room (main stage) with good sound. Bar staff took a long time in my opinion. Guarded wardrobe was a big plus.

The programming is noticeably deteriorating, is starting to look more and more like a galaxy or simplon

120 anniversary. A total of 33 experienced this. The mensa was first touched in 1986. Since 1992 regular visitor to concerts.

Small and cozy concert venue with a rich history. We were in the area and attended a concert on the gamble, which was not a great success but the bar brought comfort.

Vera, or as Blood Red Shoes called it on their setlist: the Legendary Vera. This place feels like coming home. Fair gig prices, great venue and after the gig you can enjoy the Kelderbar for some drinks.

The best rockclub in the Netherlands and famous all over the world mostly with underground bands: the Vera club. What makes it special is a combination of cool staff, great bands and a friendly atmoshere. The place oozes rock history with old photo's and posters of bands who played here in the past.

Vera is a great venue; it offers great concerts, movies, and events. The city wouldn't be the same without the Vera's podium (even bands such as Nirvana or Pearl Jam played in the Vera!).

Favorite club in Groningen, for the alternative work. This time it was the Black Sabbath tribute evening. Multiple artists are allowed to play every two songs from a famous band. Despite the waiting times between the acts surely worth it. Very affordable, a household name in Groningen!

Got to love Vera. But please do something about the long queues and the mean security

Nice room, great programming, friendly employees (all volunteers!). The only authentic pop venue in the Netherlands. Cheap beer, not overcrowded when t is sold out. In short: great!

Vera is a co-operative, a social experiment, a club, a center of the arts. It is one of the more amazing such organizations in the world. It doesn't get any better.
The labyrinthine, self-owned building houses a dungeon-like downstairs bar, a first-rate world-class rock stage, a print shop (all the remarkable posters are designed and printed in-house), and on the top floor very nice accommodations for band members.
Most of the workers are volunteers; everything is done for and with love.
Groningen is a beautiful little town, worthy seeing on its own. But for many, Vera put it on the map.
For listening and/or playing music, there is no better place.

Groningen's top concert hall, located in a beautiful old building. Multiple halls available, including a dark and gloomy small cellar hall, where you':re very up close and personal with the performing artists. Even witnessed some crowd surfing there, which is a feat in itself, considering the very low ceiling. Went there during Eurosonic/Noorderslag (famous festival), and watched the brilliant band Fleddy Melculy there. Highly recommended!

Sound is nice, but the narrow, long layout of the room is not very nice. Not only do a lot of people come to stand in front of you, it also ensures a lot of walking people from front to back.

Club for the underground. Great music, nice bar in the basement.

Every event is worth a visit. Constantly changing bands, away from the mainstream.

One of the few remaining pop halls in NL with a face. Tasteful, authentic programming in a beautiful, classic building.

Atmospheric room has been a center for alternative music / dance / underground for decades. Easy to reach in the center by bus / bike. There are a few parking garages in the neighborhood.
