We had wonderful evenings and I immediately forgot about it. This is ideal for an unforgettable unforgettable time. Even if you want to remember something about it, this is possible, but then you have to drink less than I did.

Great venue for music events in Groningen. Downstage cosy room with a bar, and a bigger one upstairs for the bigger gigs. Great prices for drinks

Often too many tickets have been sold for films, so there is no good seating anymore. Chairs are of poor quality! It is best to take a pillow to sit on. It is about "luxury" folding chairs. Furthermore, the image quality is just gone well.

Great place! Had loads of fun here. The club gets really packed rather late, but I guess that's only due to good music. Relaxed atmosphere, the staff speaks English and the bathrooms are clean. Entry fee only 2 when I went there. Perfect night

Nice atmosphere but the music is really too loud. Even with earplugs in it is almost impossible, very unfortunate.

The club for the international pop underground! Nice relaxed room. Everything is mainly run by volunteers who do it with love, and you notice that in everything. Door policy, bar staff, music. Best place in Groningen to watch a concert.

Totally crazy, several small halls with live music.

This is a must-do for everyone in Groningen. Whether you are a resident or visiting. Go here. Go and discover bands, enjoy the casual atmosphere and beautiful room with a reasonably priced bar. Vera is an association and works with volunteers. Those volunteers do it with great pleasure, that is certainly noticeable as a guest. Afterwards, I can heartily recommend a drink in the cellar bar. A night out can soon be in Vera. I like to come here. You have my recommendation.

The place to be in Rock city Groningen. Brings you underground music/ movies from around the world.

I was allowed to throw a self made noise show on a karaoke machine at 7am. The bouncer even brought me more cds with music to try.

Good music, more alternative than the rest of the clubs in Groningen .. But nowadays you don't see much of that in the audience ..

Nice place right in the center of Grunn. The rock temple of the Netherlands in De Rockstad Groningen. Relaxed place. Affordable. Good music. Vera the place to be!

Went to the Haru Nemuri concert, was worth the 6-hour round trip and overnight stay!

One of the coolest and historical important venue that I have ever visited as a guest and as an artist. Pretty big, nice personal, bar, sound and lights are excellent, etc.

VERA is a place where famous bands performed when they were completely unknown to the general public. Music can be quite experimental. Sound is quite loud, earplugs are recommended if you want to be at the front. At the back of the main hall there is a bar and also enough space to enjoy the music.

This club is the place to be for alternative music, with a focus on guitar rock from dreamy to loud and noisy, but also electronic music or reggae. Film screening every Tuesday. Most staff are dedicated volunteers. The atmosphere is laidback and female and queer friendly.

One of the best clubs in Groningen! I loved all the events and concerts I ve been to there and would definitely recommend for somebody who is looking for something a bit different and kinda funky! LOFT (which is normally every 2nd Saturday) is sometimes a bit repetitive but nevertheless it never fails to make you dance. Definitely worth checking out the agenda regularly to keep up with all of the weekly events.

Great pop stage where greats like Nirvana and Rancid started off: live bands, dance nights and the most crowded smokers' room in Groningen. Highlights are experimental, more underground programming; original and insightful promotexts on the bands; screenprinted limited edition posters; and the constantly updated darkly humorous comics on the walls.

Nice location in Groningen where we went to the Balkan music group Shantel and the bucovina club Orkestra. Nice room and nice atmosphere ..
