Vera's House of Bridals Review

As the mother-of-the bride, our consultant, Saritah, made the experience of finding the dress an enjoyable event. Very knowledgeable, with obvious experience. Can t wait for the day!

I had been to a couple other bridal shops before my Vera's visit and had decided that if I did not find a dress here, I would just settle for an online dress. Thank God for Vera's Bridals and my consultant Saritah! I talked with Saritah about what I was looking for and she quickly went to work pulling beautiful gowns. She pulled one that I said no to, but she suggested we try it anyway. What do you know.... my family and I ended up falling in LOVE with that dress! Once Saritah added the veil and bouquet, I instantly had the bride feeling I was searching for! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! I am forever grateful

I didn t have a good time there. I was looking for a bridesmaid dress there. They only helped me find one dress and didn t pay attention to me. There was a large group there as well so they may have missed me. We did have an appointment but I feel I was over looked. Very happy with how welcoming and open they were. However, we decided not to purchase the dress and asked them to size me and they wouldn t because I didn t purchase it. I was hoping for a good time with me and the bride but was not happy with my experience.

Ella was absolutely amazing! Super helpful and very patient. She knew exactly what dresses to pull and made me feel so comfortable. Highly recommend.

I don t even know where to begin... Vera s House of Bridals was absolutely amazing. It had all the right feels the moment I stepped through the doors and I felt welcomed. Claire was my consultant and she went above and beyond, making me feel comfortable and helping me choose my dress. She really knows her wedding stuff. She eased any worries I had and we ended up having a great time. She s definitely someone you want when you go dress shopping. Her bubbly personality is definitely contagious. She s the best. Vera also stopped by a few times to checked in too. She s the sweetest. I did end up finding my dress with Claire s help and I couldn t be happier. She really did go above and beyond and I m so happy she was my consultant and I went to Vera s.

This was the first and only place I had to look for a dress. We scheduled an appointment for a Thursday evening, so the store was not too busy and our consultant (Tory) was absolutely amazing! She listened carefully to what I liked and didn't like about each dress she brought in. She told us right away to be completely honest if we don't like something because, after all, she didn't design the dresses so her feelings would not be hurt. I showed her a handful of photos of dresses I loved so she had a starting point to go off of. I tried on about 10 dresses, and every one was a little bit closer to "the one". She also did a very good job in staying in my budget. I told her ideally I would like to stay under $1000, but if I absolutely love something, I'm willing to go up to $1500. For some reason I was very worried that after hearing my budget, I wouldn't get the same type of customer service that I would if my budget was, say, $5000. But that was not the case at all! The dress I ended up with was under $1000, so that made me very happy! Also, I should mention that because my wedding is only 6 months away, she told me right away that there were some dresses that I would not be able to get in time, so she made sure that everything she had me try on would be available. The experience alone was absolutely wonderful and I would recommend Vera's to anyone! Thank you so much, Tory, for making my dress shopping experience easy, and stress free!

Claire was an absolutely amazing stylist! I couldn t have asked for anyone else. She was a great listener and showed me multiple options that matched what I was looking for. She also supported me through the confusing and exciting feelings that came with this experience.

One good note to know though is that Vera s does not do their own alterations in-house. They give you a list of recommendations or you can find your own.

I absolutely loved my experience at Vera s. I was recently there this past Saturday and consultant, Lauren, was AMAZING! She was an amazing listener and was very helpful finding the style dress I was looking for. In fact, she found my dress! Which I absolutely love! I would highly recommend Lauren as your wedding dress consultant. Thank you for everything.

I had a bridal appointment a couple of weeks ago with Saritah. She was amazing!!! She helped make the experience so easy and fun. Saritah really listened to what I had to say about what I did or didn't like, I ended up ordering my dress that day after deciding on the one I loved!! The quality of all of the dresses was amazing, I can't wait to get my dress. I completely recommend going to Vera's for any kind dress!

Absolutely loved it here!! So nice, they made me feel like my party was the only one in the shop (even when it was a busy Saturday!) They stayed within my budget and really listened to what I wanted! I definitely said yes to the dress!!

I worked with Lydia today at Vera s. I was very happy with little people there during a week day. Lydia was patient with me as I tried on multiple dresses & explained so many things to me about all the details of each one. I was very happy with my experience & happy to leave finding a bridal gown. The staff is very inviting & friendly, and Vera s is very clean. Love, love, love it there.

As a plus sized bride I was very apprehensive about making an appointment at Vera s as I thought it was a couture only boutique. I was so wrong and I m so grateful! I had been to two other places that were so disappointing in their limited selection for larger women. I arrived super early for my appointment and was promptly greeted. I was shown to an area to start looking at samples that were on sale. I was thrilled to see the wide array of sizes they offered. In sizes that would even fit me! I worked with Bridget, she was so gracious to take me early and she was absolutely fantastic! She found so many dresses for me to try and they were all my size! I was amazed! Thank you so much Bridget! You re a true gem.I did end up purchasing one of the samples that caught my eye. I m so happy I found my perfect, wedding dress for me!!

I had a wonderful experience shopping for my bridal gown at Vera's!! Liz was absolutely amazing! Not only does she do her job well, but she is also a ton of fun!! Having my own room with someone dedicated to helping me find my perfect dress was wonderful! I would highly recommend Vera's and if you can request Liz, do it!! Vera s was the fourth bridal shop I visited during my search for a wedding dress. My previous experiences were all with very hands off consultants and dresses that didn t fit the look I was going for. I was feeling very anxious about having another failed shopping adventure. But to my surprise, my experience at Vera s was an extremely positive one! I worked with Bridget and she was amazing!! Upon arrival we sat down and talked through some details about the wedding, my previous dress shopping experiences, and what my likes and dislikes were in dresses. She then took us to our room and proceeded to hand pick out all the dresses for me to try. She made me feel at ease and asked all the right questions to help lead to me to my dress. I ended up walking away with a dress that day!! I highly recommend asking for Bridget!!

Vera's was amazing. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could!! The selection and price range of dresses blew my mind. I was looking for a white wedding dress with black lace detail, and Vera's was the only bridal shop I could find that stocked black and white dresses - I even tried on an all black dress while I was there. I filled out the lookbook before my appointment which helped me narrow down the styles I liked. Sahrita was an absolute doll and helped me rule out dresses that weren't right and also find my perfect dress at my initial appointment. Vera herself even stopped by while I was trying dresses on. Once my dress arrived at the store, I made another appointment and was helped by Lydia to try my dress on for the first time. She was also an absolute doll and I didn't want to take the dress off!! Both Sahrita and Lydia offered me some helpful advice, made me feel comfortable, and made the whole experience a blast. I was very impressed with the service and will be recommending Vera's to others. Thanks so much Sahrita and Lydia!!

I had the most amazing shopping experience here! Saritah was great to work with! She asked different questions to really figure out my style, and help me envision myself on my wedding day! I would highly suggest going to Vera's! It's worth the drive if you're from out of town like me!!

What a magical experience! I said yes to the dress today at Vera's. I am so thankful to Debra, the amazing consultant that worked with me today. I picked a dress to try on and didn't like it. After talking with Debra, she went on the hunt. She came back five minutes later with the most perfect dress. I can't express how grateful I am for her help and expertise. I had an amazing experience. Claire was so genuine and attentive. I did not expect to find my dream dress as it was my first time trying on dresses, but I found the one I love! Claire was so helpful and knew my style right away. I have had issues with weight and body image, and Claire made me feel so comfortable and confident!

After looking at several bridal stores, it was clear that Vera's had the best customer service and widest selection of dresses. We drove to Vera's from the Milwaukee area, and it was worth the day trip! Special thanks to Valerie for making my experience great!

Terrible experience!! We had an appointment at 11am on a Saturday which I understand is a busy time. We got downstairs to the bridesmaid dresses and were not given clear instructions on how their process worked. Everyone felt so flustered and lost. The bride asked to speak with the manager and she cleared things up a bit but then proceeded to tell us all the orange fabric dots on the dresses are the more uncommon sizes aka the dresses size 16+. You would think they would have handled that a little differently after seeing tons of thousands of different body types come into their store. They also would not measure us until we purchased our dresses which made no since. We then had to go through more work trying on every size until we all (6 girls) found one that fit. I was then told there would be a $30+ up charge to my dress because of the size. I felt completely unwelcome because of the size of my body. I left the store almost in tears because I felt so ashamed and terrible about my body image. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

I had the best customer service experience at Veras with Tammy! Not only was she super professional, she added an emotional component that was unmatched compared to anywhere else I d been. She reminded me that even though it was my second wedding, it needed to be treated as the most important - it brought tears to my eyes! My heart is forever grateful!

Drawback is that you cannot know the name of the trust prior to purchasing.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience finding my wedding dress at Vera's. Bridget helped me find the perfect dress. Nicest service I have ever received. When I walked in freaking out as I have never been bridal dress shopping, they told me I had nothing to fear and that they would help out which they did. I did take one star off because it is a more expensive place which did not work as well with my budget. Highly recommend for good customer service, first time ever bridal shopping and for people who have a budget that can spend around $1,000.

Yesterday, I said yes to the dress at Vera's & truly can't say enough great things about my experience. My mom & future mother-in-law both got their dresses at Vera's over 25 years ago & I'm honored that I can now say I did as well. I absolutely recommend asking for Caitlin if you are thinking about making your appointment here. I showed her one picture of a dress I liked online & she found gorgeous dresses to mimic the image she knew I wanted, yet compliment my figure. I ended up finding "the one" with the third dress I tried on. Caitlin could tell it was the one I wanted, but was patient with me when I asked if I could still try some more on. Their inventory is fantastic with a wide range to fit anyone's budget. I would & will recommend anyone who asks, to go to Vera's!! The girls I brought with me keep talking about how much fun it was. We will absolutely be back to shop for bridesmaid dresses & will be requesting for Caitlin again! Thank you Vera's for making this such a fun, memorable & truly amazing experience.

I came to Vera s with my friend for her dress consultation with Saritah. She was PHENOMENAL! By far the best dress experience I ve been part of. She was engaging, helpful, and SO knowledgeable while still making sure my friend knew she was the center of the day, and this was her decision. Also she was hilarious and amazing to work with. Shoutout to Leanne (I didn t catch the spelling of her name there - so sorry!) for being a great assistant and a general bright presence during the session! My whole experience with Vera's was wonderful. The staff was professional and efficient with making an appointment. Tory was my bridal stylist and she was amazing! She was professional and listened to what I wanted most in a dress and used her 9 years of experience and expertise to help my find my perfect wedding dress. The dress and veil are better than I had ever dreamed of. Thank you, Tory, for the wonderful experience buying a wedding gown. I had tried to find a dress at other bridal stores in the Madison area, but nothing compared to the service and quality of dresses at Vera's. I'm so excited to see the whole wedding come together now that I have the perfect dress.

This place is so fun to visit! The store itself is beautiful, and they have a huge selection of all kinds of bridal gowns. I needed a veil to go with my dress that I purchased out of state. I called before coming and asked if I needed to make an appointment, and they said I could just walk in since I was veil shopping. On arrival, the store was busy, but running smoothly. They led me upstairs to begin looking at their HUGE veil selection, I picked out a couple, and a consultant led me to a private room to put on my dress and try out the veils. On seeing my dress, she picked out some she thought would go great, keeping my taste in mind. I found the perfect veil in what felt like less than 30 minutes. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Afterwards, I asked if it would be okay to view the bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dresses. They have beautiful selections of each, and I was able to find the bridesmaid dress I want at Vera's. Thank you so much, and I look forward to continuing to work with you all in the future!

I can t tell you how thrilled I am that Vera s is still in business. It s no wonder at all though, with their exceptional customer service and genuine attention to every detail. I purchased my dress there in 1992 and just bought my daughter s dress there today. I wish I had the words to describe just how grateful I am to Lisa who graciously spent almost 4 hours with us to help my daughter find the absolute perfect dress. Not only did she listen to her thoughts but was tremendously helpful in providing guidance in making her dream dress a reality. It s even more beautiful than she ever imagined. Being the Mother of the Bride, I ve actually experienced some disrespect from other bridal shops but that was far from the case at Vera s. We were both treated with utmost respect and never felt rushed. Vera herself stopped in our room for multiple check-ins which helped make it even more of a goosebump special experience with her kind words, advice, and even a hug and photo! What an outstanding special experience! Thank you Lisa, Vera and the entire staff!

I had such a wonderful experience at Vera's and would absolutely recommend it to everyone! When searching for my dress the bridal consultant showed me all different styles and was so patient and encouraging as I tried on a ton of different gowns. When I wasn t finding anything, we went back to the storeroom for a lighting round to quickly see if we could spot anything that caught my eye. We actually found the one that I ended up buying that way it was the last one I tried on and it gave me butterflies and was absolutely perfect. I also had a really specific and particular way I wanted the veil to look and Vera herself helped out with making sure that I was able to achieve the look I wanted! Every step of the way the people at Vera s listened to me and put so much effort into making sure that I was happy and that the dress and veil were perfect too I really can t thank them enough. You can definitely tell that the people at Vera s, and Vera herself, really just want the bride to be happy and they do everything they can to make that a reality.

I moved my wedding up an entire year and was in a panic to find my perfect dress. Lydia at Vera s bridal immediately put me at ease as she helped me pick out dresses that I never thought I would like. The one I ended up choosing was all thanks to her and helping me feel comfortable. I finally felt like a bride after the stress searching for a dress. She was extremely helpful and even helped my mom find her mother of the bride dress in the same day. I will always recommend Vera s!!

I am so happy that I went here first. Lisa was our bridal consultant. She was kind, funny, intuitive, and empathetic; a consummate professional. She totally read me and my few pintrest pictures perfectly. This was such a special and COMFORTABLE experience. There was no rush and Lisa was authentically interested in matching my dress to the whole vision of my wedding. I had no idea what to expect and she answered all of my questions without judgement and with patience. I felt like everyone was genuinely excited and happy for me. Vera even stopped by; what a lovely person she is and an equally lovely business she has built. There was just the right amount of ritual and pomp to really start my wedding planning and make me feel special. This visit set the tone for the whole next year of planning.

I didn't expect to find a dress in one day and one visit, but I did. :) I would highly recommend this be a stop on every bride's list.

Saritah was amazing! I came in shaking from nerves and making decisions about something I knew nothing about bc I never had a vision of what ~*~the big day~*~ would look like for me. She got me on task and focused on me so I could picture myself walking down the aisle...all safely during a pandemic. Book an appointment-you will absolutely not regret it. Saritah is the best in the business and amazing at what she does!! She asked me what I was looking for and pulled several unique versions of what I had envisioned. Saritah was so patient and accommodating, and she never once made me feel pressured or rushed! She pointed out details I didn t even notice, and it made me fall even more in love with my gown! When she told me, this is what Zach will see when you walk down the isle , I instantly knew I had found the one! She truly made me feel like the most beautiful bride to be, and even got a little teary eyed when I said Yes to the dress!

Saritah shared with us the history of Vera s, and it made me proud to purchase my gown there. The fact that Vera popped her head in to say hi made the day even more special!

To be honest, I had booked an appointment at a different store for after my appointment at Vera s because I was nervous they wouldn t have anything in my budget ($1000 or less), and I was 100% wrong. They have over 700 gowns that could fit in almost any bride s budget.

I cannot express how amazing my experience was- all of the details of the day made it more wonderful than I had even imagined. Vera s goes above and beyond for their brides, and you can truly tell that they care and love what they do!

This is an AMAZING place to get your wedding dress. There was absolutely NO pressure to choose a dress that day, even though I did. The women who help you are REALLY there to do just that. Help you in any way possible find what you're looking for. I was stuck between 2 dresses, one a little less expensive and one a little more, but both still within my budget, and they just have it to me straight the pros and cons of each to help me make a decision. I spent almost 3 hours there and they never pressured me to hurry up and decide. It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend going here to get your wedding dress. Best shopping experience of my life.

I had an AMAZING experience at Vera's. I had an appointment at 4:30 on Friday and Tory was so wonderful to work with; bringing in a great selection and being very patient. I couldn't decide on a dress on Friday and they made room for me on Saturday, with Tory again, which was wonderful. She was incredibly patient (I kept going back and forth between two dresses) and when I finally decided she helped me ease all my doubts. We closed down Vera's both days and never felt rushed, even though there was no one left in the store. I can not recommend Vera's or Tory enough. I had so much anxiety going into dress shopping (worried about being put in something I couldn't afford, nothing fitting correctly, etc) but it was a wonderful experience. THANK YOU!! I am definitely going to bring my younger sister here and ask for Tory again!

I came across Vera's on The Knot then went on various website to check out reviews since it was going to be the first time trying on wedding dresses i didn't want to waste my time at the wrong salon. Every website had great reviews so i decided to make an appointment with the salon. When arriving i had the lovely pleasure of having Tammy be my personal dress shopper. She was GREAT! I told her what i was thinking and she said i will provide you dresses you like and throw some curve balls in just in case you might like them better. There were multiple dresses that were curve balls that i almost walked away. Tammy and Vera's Salon made finding my wedding dress fun and easy. I would highly recommend to anyone to try Vera's for their wedding dresses.

Bridget was amazing! She was so kind and patient. Finding a dress can be difficult and all of the staff we so great in going the extra mile to make sure I had the perfect dress.

Words cannot express the experience I had not only at Vera's but with Saritah. I was a little behind schedule on picking out my special dress. She reassured me we would be ok. I told her what I was looking for and oh my goodness she hit it spot on plus some. After trying on 4 dresses I put on "the one" I felt like a princess. Saritah was very patient as I believe I tried on the same dresses 2-3 times. NEVER did I feel rushed or pressured at Vera's. From the moment I walked in the door it was a great experience. The staff was amazing Saritah and Tammy were extremely helpful and it was even great seeing Vera herself. Hands down I will be recommending any soon to be bride to Vera's and ONLY Vera's. I know my special day will be even more special because of Vera's. Thank you again Saritah, Tammy and Vera.

Had a fantastic shopping experience today! Walked in to Vera's today and explained that I was in a bit of a time crunch to get a specific bridesmaids dress for a wedding in May. Tammy, helped me order and find the right fit and she was fantastic! I could not have had a better shopping experience. Everything was easy and perfect! I'm am so excited to wear the dress in May in support of my friends wedding.

The perfect experience! We worked with Tory and she truly listened to everything I wanted. My mom and sister came along, and she made it such a comfortable and fun afternoon :) I ended up getting the first dress she pulled for me and I can't stop thinking about it! Highly recommend.

We have been to a few bridal shops and this was by far the best place we went! Our assistant was amazing, and the lady that purchases the dresses came and gave us the final approval to purchase a dress that was not for sale amazing experience!

Vera's was a dream, I can't recommend it enough! The store is beautiful, and makes you automatically start to feel pampered. Large dressing rooms, detailed decorations, and so many stunning dresses to try on. I went to a couple other bridal salons and there was no comparison for the dresses and service. Vera's was it.

I had two appointments and a final drop in to try on the one again before buying it. The staff are so kind and willing to do anything to make it a great experience. My consultant Claire was really talented at getting me to talk about what I liked and didn't like with dresses. She helped me to figure out what kinds of dresses were without a doubt "me" and quickly started pulling ones that fit that idea exactly. They were all so beautiful! Claire was really nice, put no pressure on me to choose right away, and encouraged me to take photos home to think it over. Thank you Claire, I couldn't have done it without you!

I worked with Claire at Vera's and she was so amazing! I had gone to two other places and nobody took the time to ask me the questions that she did to get to my style and day. I came in thinking I didn't really know what I wanted but she made me realize that I actually do know exactly what I want and she was going to find it for me. I am a bride who wasn't all that excited about the dress but she turned it into something super special for me! <3 I am so grateful for that!

I purchased my wedding gown in mid May with the help of Tammy at Vera's, and my mom by my side! I had a lot of mixed feelings going in to trying on wedding dresses-excited, nervous, etc., but Tammy made it so relaxed and easy. She knew her stuff and made me feel comfortable. I never once felt pressured into saying "yes" or into liking something that I actually didn't. She allowed me to express my opinions and LISTENED to what I liked and didn't like about each dress. I started getting discouraged because I wasn't having that "this is it" feeling like on "Say Yes to the Dress," but Tammy made me feel comfortable and confident that we would find something. After trying on how many dresses, I realized I was comparing every dress to one of the first I tried on.. dress #4. I put it back on and Tammy allowed me to walk around and see myself in different lighting, mirrors, etc. instead of just being in the small room. After adding the vail, I was sold. Thank you so much to Tammy and the team at Vera's for being patient and helping me find the perfect dress! This was my first time trying on bridal gowns and it was a wonderful experience! I'm excited to work with you ladies in the coming months to help make this dress perfect for me!

Short Story: Found my dream dress on my first shopping experience, and felt like I made about 5 new friends at Vera s. Long Story: I planned on simply trying on dresses and purchasing a dress in a few months. I was terrible at articulating the style I was looking for, but was quick to shoot down ones I didn t feel were right. Allison was our consultant and Tammy assisted throughout the appointment. Not only were they patient, but Tammy took 1 look at my body type and said You re a Calla Blanche bride. She brought in 2 Calla dresses that fit me like a glove. Had I seen the dresses on the rack I would ve walked right by, but Tammy somehow understood the jumble of adjectives I used to describe how I felt and knew exactly which direction to turn. I tried on the 2nd Calla dress and was stunned!! I even got a visit from 91 year old Vera who made me feel like a model in my dress. They were welcoming of my decision to go to lunch and think before purchasing. When I returned, Bridget assisted me and was INCREDIBLE! We stayed for about another hour swapping stories with the staff and I honestly wish I could ve taken them out for dinner and cocktails after. These are the kind of people you want to do business with! Tammy, thank you for knowing my body and style even better than I did! Vera s you re the best!

Went shopping for a wedding dress for my daughter and 1st stop was Vera's House of Bridal and while my daughter was trying on dresses in walked Vera herself. She was as sweet as could be and stayed and talked with all of us (7) in our group. My daughter found a dress she absolute loves and looks beautiful in it. Canceled appointment at next stop because "she said yes to the dress." Highly recommend Vera's. I got my dress at Vera's in Janesville many moons ago. The tradition lives on.

The selection and quality was beat only by the customer service!

10/10 would recommend! Vera's House of Bridals exceeded all of my expectations, and I hope anyone who's wedding dress shopping gets the chance to try on dresses here. Tory was absolutely fantastic and I don't know how I was so lucky to get my appointment scheduled with her. She was patient, helpful, friendly, and professional. I was nervous about the trying on dresses and finding one that I liked, but she helped calm my nerves and find the PERFECT dress (aka my mom was crying and I couldn't stop smiling). Thank you thank you thank you Tory and everyone at Vera's! I even got to meet Vera herself during my appointment! Vera's makes it very easy to support local businesses and women owned businesses.

I had a wonderful experience at Vera's House of Bridals. I worked with Bridget, and there aren't enough adjectives in the world to praise her highly enough. I was very nervous about trying on wedding dresses, as I didn't really know what I wanted, and from the get-go she was kind, enthusiastic, and so lovely to work with. She listened very closely to what I had to say (no matter how inarticulate) and what I was searching for (both in terms of a dress and in terms of my budget), and in the end, the dress I chose was one she picked out and that I'd never have chosen for myself without her help. There were so many other small things, too, that made the experience five-star: for example, when I mentioned in passing I'd probably wear my hair up, she gave me a quick up-do that helped me envision the dress and veil as I was hoping it'd appear at the eventual wedding. She brought me a hairpiece to try, but didn't put any pressure on me to buy it then and there when I said I wasn't ready to make a decision. And so on, and so on.

I'd put a photo to go with this review, but my wedding's not for a while yet, and the dress is a surprise! I did have a five-star experience at Vera's, though, without question, and Bridget, if you're reading this, thank you again. You were amazing.

After a very disappointing trip to David's bridal that left our bride in tears, we reluctantly walked into Vera's without an appointment. Several staff members were helping other brides, so I wasn't confident we'd be able to browse. I was pleasantly surprised when Saritah greeted us. She could tell our bride had been crying and immediately did all she could to change our day around.

I had never been into Vera's, as I assumed it would be out my my price range. I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff and the range of prices. Gowns in the mid-hundreds were common, yet they had more expensive offerings too. I will be shopping at Vera's again and telling my friends about it.

Ella was the young lady who helped us from begining to end and she sure was a trooper. We must of speant about 2 hrs with her. Our group learned all sorts of things

I have to start by saying that Caitlin is amazing! She listened to what I was looking for and gave me multiple options without it being overwhelming. She made sure to include my family s opinions and really pay attention to what I liked and didn t like in each dress. She was very friendly and genuine. As someone who was very nervous to wedding dress shop, Caitlin put me at ease and I had an amazing time!

Went on a tuesday at 11 am with my mother, soon-to-be mother-in-law, sister, and best friend to get the whole "experience" of wedding dress shopping. I absolutely did! We were able to have two rooms- one where I changed and one where everyone sat and I walked into to show off the dresses. Tammy, our dress consultant, was the best person I could imagine to help me that day. She was helpful, supportive, and very sweet. She understood what I needed to hear and was able to recommend some dresses that I didn't come in thinking i'd want. I ended up choosing one from my favorite designer but wasn't on my list! Thank God Tammy brought it for me to try on. When I thought I may have found the dress, Tammy took me onto the second floor "balcony", which was multiple mirrors at different angles and distances. It was a huge help to see what the dress would look like further away, too. I wasn't planning on "one-stop shopping" for my wedding dress, but Vera's blew those plans out of the water with their excellent staff and dress selection. I even got to meet the owner, Vera! It will be a day I never forget, thanks to Tammy, Vera, and Vera's Bridal.

I am a very decisive bride, who had very specific features that I did not want. However, I had no idea of what I did want. Jayme did such an amazing job of helping me find options that were 1) flattering and 2) the style I wanted. When I didn't like something, Jayme handled the feedback appropriately and applied the feedback to the next dress I tried on. She was such a pleasure to work with. I haven't purchased my dress yet, only because I am waiting for my mom to come up in August (I am having my wedding in my hometown of St. Louis). I definitely plan on working with Jayme at that next appointment though. Such a great experience!

Yesterday I went to Vera's House of Bridals with my parents to search for my wedding dress. From the moment we arrived we all felt like VIP's and it was clear that everyone working that day was excited about helping brides while giving them a top notch experience. Originally, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a dress with my budget because of how nice their plethora of gowns were; however, I was pleasantly suprised when I realized that Vera's literally has a gown for almost any budget (not to mention I found mine under my anticipated budget.. SCORE). My bridal consultant was Nicole and she was absolutely AMAZING. It became very clear to me instantaneously that this was not a job to her- but a passion. She was so insightful, positive, and kind- I never once felt pressured or rushed the whole afternoon. At the end of the day, I found a dress that I love and that I can't wait to wear for my wedding in July! I am looking forward to coming back and working with the seamstresses for alterations too! Honestly, I am so thankful that I was able to find my dress at Vera's and I would HIGHLY reccomend it to any bride!

Lori was amazing! She worked so hard to do everything she could for me and my party. I was searching for a very specific look and this was my first time trying on dresses. Although I did not find my wedding dress at Vera's, Lori's service was unmatched else where. Lori spend over 2 hours with us and never once looked at a clock or made it seem like we were taking too long and she was very pleasant the whole time. My family came with me and they all had nothing but great things to say about Lori and the experience. I cannot believe that there are bridal locations that make the bride go and search for dresses and carry them back to their room- basically doing everything but zipping it up. Vera herself was there during my whole appointment walking and talking to guests- she even selected a dress for me to try personally and gave me her thoughts. Classy woman and boutique all around!
