Its an ok venue. Toilet facility is disappointing and the distance from the CBD can become annoying. In terms of rowing the lack of trees on the other side provides an unfair lane advantage.

1st Regatta for IGSSA girls and first look at venue. Great set up for rowing. Set up and set down areas easy to access. The only negative thing is the distance from parking to spectator area.

A very nice area. Well maintained. Good walking paths, nice (but small) kids playground, public toilets and two children's swimming areas. And of course the rowing course looks good. I'd say the facility is equal to the Olympic regatta centre in Sydney.

Absolutely beautiful spot. Since visiting over 10 years ago, this location has grown into a vibrant community. I attended a sporting gathering on Sunday morning (Sept 2020) and the amount of friendly faces and morning exercisers was great!

Family friendly paths with plenty of room. The paths offer a 5km loop around a lake. Plenty of plants and animals to keep the eyes entertained. We particularly enjoys the various ducks that have made home to the area.

It s a great spot for exercise, a picnic or even just a breather for 10 minutes, watching the water and thinking about the Queen in a swim suit

Good for walking, running, riding and walking your dogs. Would be better if they had more bins for doggy poo bags to put in and more drinking fountains. Plus it will be good if they had solar lights around lake as when out late and it gets dark it is hard to see the path.

This place is excellent for rowing, kayaking, and exercise, long wide footpath runs all the way down the lake. That's 5km of footpath. It's a fun venue that has lanes for kayaking and canoeing. It has change rooms and a kitchen for hot food in the functions area. Lift access and disability parking. Beautiful venue in a beautiful setting with the mountains in the background.

Great venue, ideal for a safe leisurely walk or a 5k run around the lake.
Water points for dogs, cycle tracks right around. There is even a public beach great for a cool dip and a picnic on the foreshore.

For swimming, cycling, walking and just chilling out, look no further than Champions Lakes when you live around Kelmscott, Camillo, Seville Grove, Armadale, Haynes or even Piara Waters and Harrisdale. The only negative thing about this place is, its where snakes are in abundance. Watch your step.

An impressive artificial pond. Its gotten way less stanky now an ecosystem has built up.

Great place to run Radio Control Boats. Lots of folk out, with kids on bikes, n dogs out for a run. Probably the best pond for flatwater sport in Perth. RC, rowing etc.

Great place if you're a rower, not so much if you're not involved in the sport. That being said, there is a jetpack company based there, and from accounts of those that have done it, that's definitely a highlight, a solid idea for a date too.

An 8 lane 2000m course with markings every 250 meters and larger signs for every 500m. A large training lake. Pontoons for launching and landing the boats is also along the training lake. Great for regattas as there are plenty of facilities.

Great venue for water racing/fun ... although for the willing spectator, with few amenities and hospitality services, not that accommodating ... it's for the participating sports people for sure
