Brilliant burgers - definitely worth the premium price. Staff really friendly as well.

The bun is bit cold and pickle tomato I found bit colder side and not on room temperature. The flavour of burger was taste bit dry first time for me of Velvet burger. This is the first time my experience to have Velvet burger is very average. The service is very good, quick and friendly. The fries were good.

Came in a few days ago for a tasty treat, and boy did velvet burger deliver! The food tasted fresh and the presentation was phenomenal. Even though there was only one person in the kitchen my food still came through relatively quickly. Shout out to Josh for fixing me up!

Beautiful burgers. I especially like Tuesdays when you order on line you but one and get one for free.
My go to is Big Bro which has a portobello mushrooms as one of the ingredients. If I am very hungry I get a gone burger, which is great eating. If I want to eat it delicately I split it in two, eat half a bun, the meat patty and bacon, then other half has a chicken fillet, tomato and lettuce. You can eat in or take out.

Ordered my burger without cheese as I'm dairy free but... It came with cheese so was disappointed. Also had quite a long wait for our food. Other than that it was good. Mum liked her chicken burger

I had my first Goneburger here last year and I could not forget the taste even in my dreams. Christchurch branch is just not doing as good as Dunedin's. I have had quite some burgers in the whole country, and I am confident to tell you that their Goneburger is definitely one of the best burgers in the whole NZ. Vegan? Try their Animal Rights, you will be amazed.

Orders tend to be a little late on Tuesdays, must be because they're swamped af while making sure the quality is still on point. Even though I've gotten my burgers 20mins or so late on many occasions (only on 241Tuesdays), I have never been disappointed with my meal. Always worth the wait. I got the Babe with skinny fries as the burger was recommended by the staff. Would go back again but might just do burger and a drink.
