Amazing stuffed French toast. Mascarpone is this delicious strawberry spread, must try! Kelsey our waitress was fantastic, & upon seeing us searching for just the right seat, the owner?/manager himself gave us his own! Spirulina smoothie is spectacular. Terrific all the way around, great location. Coming back tomorrow, suggest you do too!

The food and service at Velo Cafe are Second to NONE! Chef Sal is amazing with preparing and presentation, and I have witnessed first hand how the food for the day is selected. They support the local markets and Sal says, "Whatever is the freshest." During the COVID crisis staff has been exceptional, wearing masks and gloves and taking extra care to keep their customers safe. If a customer chooses not to wear a mask outside that is their prerogative, but all wait staff is adequately covered. Owners are usually inside with their families overseeing the operations and will occasionally make their way outside safely distancing themselves to make sure their guests are happy. You won't want to pass up an opportunity to eat at this 5 star eatery!

An all around fantastic place! Excellent food and service. Great owners and a very talented chef! A very unique menu and also BYOB, so don t forget to bring a bottle of wine with dinner. For breakfast they have a great selection of eggs benedict, stuffed french toast and avocado toast. For lunch the crispy chicken sandwich is a must try! And for dinner start off trying the octopus, than the samurai salmon and finish the night off with one of their dessert. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend eating at Velo Cafe. They go above and beyond safety wise. The food is amazing. Visit Peter Petrov and Nenad Neno Gorgiev. All of the staff are wearing masks and gloves. I felt so comfortable. I hope everyone who visits is respectful of everyone.

Incredibly rude and incompetent service. We arrived around 1245pm on Labor day without a reservation, and asked if they could seat the 2 of us outside in the shade. A hostess said it would be about 10min, and we agreed to wait. She got the table ready for us in about 10 min and seated ua. As soon as we sat down, some incredibly rude restaurant employee rushed over, yelled at us that we couldnt sit there, because the table had been promised to someone else - who werent even there. We told him the other hostess had seated us, but he rudely kept telling us we couldn't sit there. Needless to say we left, and we will never go bqck.

Just took my family here for breakfast yesterday, the place is located on a really nice corner in vetnor new Jersey about a block and a half away from the beach, since it sits on the corner the resturant features many windows which make it pleasant to dine inside or out, (yes they have outside seating). As we walked in we were greated by a gentleman named nenad who immediately found a perfet table by a window for our little party of 4. Coffee and smoothies were out super fast and the smoothies were definitely guilt free because it was all healthy, nenad even asked if the kids had any allergies to anything (very thoughtful.) We ordered 2 heathy omelets one chocolate chip pancake and one orale Benedict , the flavors in all the dishes were fantastic, my wife and son loved the fluffy omelet made with egg whites turkey bacon plenty of swiss cheese topped with avocado, the homes fries were perfectly seasoned and not all broken up and mushy like in other places. My daughter had one huge chocolate chip pancake with some bacon and she destroyed it like a boss, now for the super star of this whole experience the Benedict was amazing, it was very clever how they sit the poched egg on two slices of sweet potato avocado and spicy chorizo topped with a beutiful hollandaise sauce that also shines in taste, the flavors clash in your mouth making a slightly spicy yet sweet explosion of taste followed by the creamy flavor of the avocado very sophisticated dish with a twist creativity , the decor in this resturant goes with the theme of antique bikes, very nice lighting inside and out, and the dish and cutlery selection is very European. All in all i recommend Velo cafe as a must visit if ever in the area definitely will not disappoint, i will be going again

Wanted to love this place. The ambiance was great, from lighting to music. The food was ok if that. The octopus was frozen. The mussels white was the best thing we had. Salmon was so bland with uncle bens rice. The filet was cooked to perfection but lacked flavor, the port reduction was just okay. Was so hoping for more. Maybe this place is best for brunch!

We LOVE Velo Cafe and have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner multiple times. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and the owners/management are so kind. They visit our table EVERY time we are there and engage in conversation. It is so quaint and clean and they follow ALL COVID guidelines at all times. When your in the area, get your butt to Velo , you won t be sorry.

This cafe had so much promise from its menu. But it has an incredibly rude owner. See my husband's review -- Dilip Rajagopalan -- and the rude response by the owner as confirmation of how this place treats customers. Shame on you. You act as if we saw an empty table and sat down. That is NOT what happened. We approached the entrance, asked for a table for two outdoors, was told to wait 10 minutes. The person we first approached was an older, short lady who directed us to one of the staff. That person told us there was an available table in the sun but if we waited 10 minutes, we could get a table in the shade. We agreed. We asked to see a menu while we waited. She provided one (young woman with dark hair in a ponytail.) NEVER ONCE did she or anyone say there was a list, or ask for our names, so we could put it on the list. In fact the older lady at one point, as we waited, offered us an indoor table, but we said we'd prefer to wait for an outdoor table. So either you LIE, or you run an incompetent establishment, or you have an issue with non-white customers patronizing your establishment. The staff person who asked us to wait, approached us after about 10 minutes, said the table needed to be wiped down. She did that, sat us at the table, said she would get us a second menu. She was friendly and polite, the way restaurant staff should be. Before she returned, the rude, older, bald man shouted at us, saying we could not sit here. No apology. Extremely rude. We resent the way you treated us, and as residents in the area, will make sure none of our friends or neighbors patronize you. Which is too bad, because we would have been regular customers. Shame on you for the way you run your business and treat customers. Double shame on you for your response to my husband's review. Suggest folks try 7311 Cafe in Ventnor, as we did. Really nice staff, excellent service and delicious food. You could learn a lesson or two from that cafe.

Velo Cafe was recommended to us by our Airbnb Super Host where we are staying for the weekend. I must say I've been in customer service for a long time, and it speaks volumes that Velo has exceptional customer service. The lemon strawberry crepe was very good and their signature frappe is excellent. Hubby got their highlight omelette and it was very tasty. We're only here for the weekend but we're going back on Sunday and this place will be on our radar for future visits to AC. Thank you bubbly Julie, our server, for making our experience excellent.

Absolutely amazing place! The FOOD is unbelievable and so delicious, the staff offers great service, the place is cute and cozy! Me and my husband, loved every minute here and we will return every time we ll visit Atlantic City! Try this place, you won t regret! (VERY picky eater here ) Oh, and VERY IMPORTANT: they took all the safety measures to ensure smooth experience for their clients, during this horrible time! everyone INCLUDING the owner were wearing masks and gloves and had all the signs on and sanitizers etc. They DO adhere to COVID safety policy!

Their hollandaise is SO good, and I don't usually like stuffed french toast but I LOVED theirs. And the frappe is so so creamy. My only complaint is that if there's any wait (as there often is in the summer especially), you will probably be waiting much longer than you are told, and at times it's really unclear why the wait would be so long.

I heard they don't adhere to COVID mask policies. That's not only unsanitary but not great good business practice. Will not be going and will be sure to tell everyone I know in the area to stay away.

They don t adhere to Covid safety rules!!! The owner came over to our table while we were eating to ask us how we were and we respectfully (with a smile)asked for him to cover his nose with his mask. When we are sitting in our car getting ready to leave , he approached our car and yelled at us that we have no right to ask him to cover his nose and we are no longer welcome at his restaurant! He actually said to us you weren t wearing masks ! But we were eating and HE approached US! We now know they are posted on the covid warning site ! So avoidable .... smh....notice the owner doesn t deny this in his response ! Let s see what the owner says when the board of health call to talk to him about our complaint !

Excellent place, immaculate, great food, Friendly owner and staff, heavy table wear, sparkling glasses, heavy coffee cups, all of which, I expect to find in a 5 star Restaurant. Definitely will come again. Love the family atmosphere with photos of the owner coaching his soccer teams. Gotta love a local family business!

First time here was great- warm welcome from the owners, Frappe was great, italian omlette (pictured) was well made and hit the spot. Staff was very attentive. Eggs benedict and french toast looked amazing when it came out. We will definitely come back!

Excellent food! but I am devastated to see how it is possible that they leave a person with disabilities outside in the sun waiting for 1 hour and nobody attends to it! then they enter it and nobody attends it, a long time later a waitress comes up and tells him that they are already closing and that they cannot take your order! How is it possible that this happens, my God! It was a debtor, you have to be more human please!

Wow! What a beautiful establishment. From the octopus appetizer, to the samurai salmon and jumbo shrimp entrees and even to the tiramisu for dessert, everything was flawless. The servers are so attentive and friendly and I couldn t have asked for a better restaurant to come to in Ventnor. The owner even checked on us to make sure service was up to par, (which it was!) I will definitely be recommending Velo Cafe to my friends and will be returning soon!
