VRC is an official Heritage building located in Stanley Park. Established in 1899. It's a great venue for events like weddings, meetings, small conference and other special events. Beautiful scenic views of the city, next to the seawall and close to the Vancouver Aquarium.

This private club is the best kept secret in Vancouver. Way more than just rowing. There are four sections (rugby, rowing, field hockey and yachting) so something for everyone. Not to mention the best waterfront deck for a summer beer.

Great view from right on the ocean and right beside Stanley park. Rowing here is fantastic. The only real downside I would say is that it's not very good for people who have mobility issues. Lots of narrow stairs and parking lot is quite far.

We had our wedding here and the venue and staff on the day were incredible. The event co-ordinator,however, was terrible. She failed to respond to repeated phone calls and emails and was unhelpful to the point of being obstructive. The original person we booked with was great, but her replacement was awful and really added a lot of stress to an already taxing time. Hopefully they will resolve the situation as it's a spectacular venue and deserves better.

Got a membership here for the community contribution. It is a very home type feel and is more of a communal type eating and drinking area. If you are an avid tower and are looking for a place to hang out. This clubs for you. At about 300 a year it might be what you are looking for. It could use a renovation otherwise it looks fairly old, which might be the goal here.

While we were unable to host our wedding at the Vancouver Rowing Club due to Covid-19, the service we received from Olga was amazing throughout. From the site showing, to helping us reschedule (multiple times), Olga went above and beyond to help us plan the perfect day. We would highly recommend Olga and the Vancouver Rowing Club to anyone looking for a venue to host their event... the deck overlooking the water in Stanley Park is stunning.

So, very friendly and accommodating staff. However, only 1 person so not able to help dock. Of course, there is always a friendly boater on the dock to assist. And ... the club happens to be on the approach pattern for the incoming float planes. Not so loud to be annoying

Working with the staff at the Vancouver Rowing Club to coordinate and plan our wedding was very easy due to their professionalism and friendliness. J.J., the bar manager, made sure that drink options were to our satisfaction and assembled an amazing staff for the day of our wedding. Communication with the events coordinator was very easy and they were able to answer any of our questions promptly. The venue itself is located in such a beautiful setting and provided us with wonderful city and park venues. We felt it was the perfect place for a Vancouver wedding and it made our wedding day even more special.
