Vancouver Marriott - Renaissance Vancouver Review

Our stay here was very nice. Note, our photos were taken after our two day stay so not everything is perfect. We found the room to be really spacious and we love having a kitchen in our room. Windows were large and allowed lots of light to come in. The room was clean and everything was in order. Also, paid parking was worth the money, garage had lots of room and it was secure. The only complaints would be that one of our bed side lights was dead.

Another small but crucial detail in my opinion is that this room had central air. This is much better than a HVAC unit that is mounted under the window. If you stay in hotels a lot, the little things go a long way.

Complementary breakfast was average. Because of COVID, we had to take the food to our room to eat. This was actually kind nice since we have a kitchen, we were able to make our own coffee and toast.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, it was cleaned and in a good location. Would come back again.

We ve been displaced from our home due to a life changing fire. We were very nervous to stay/live in a hotel in the worst part of a pandemic. We chose this location because they ve got a little kitchen, and great location. From the moment we walked through the doors the staff here has been so friendly & kind. The staff from the breakfast room, cleaners, & at front desk are all very hard working & friendly. you can see how passionate they are about their job. It s absolutely amazing. Immediately Walking through the hotel doors you can see how hard the housekeeping staff works. The hotel is sparkling from top to bottom. The lobby, elevators, hallways, pool area & our room have been immaculate all the time.They ve met and exceeded our expectations including strict Covid safety protocols, along with social distancing at all times. I can honestly say We trust the hotel, & this staff and their practices to insure our safety and comfort. Mike, Emma and Cynthia pay close attention to details and the customer service they display are totally top notch. 10++ They ve made a really bad situation just a bit better and have made us feel like part of the Marriott family.
We ve been loyal Marriott folks for 11 years & it s times like these that remind us why. The staff at this hotel should be used as a training sight for all Marriott hotels because this place knows how to make the guests feel welcome & cared for. Again great job! We re going to be here for quite awhile & we re so thankful we chose this location.

Great location close to Burrard Bridge. Walking distance to many local attractions, restaurants and shops. Very quiet and comfortable rooms. The only cons is the hot water temperature. It was a bit too low to be truly "hot". Otherwise I would give them 5.

The service is outstanding, and everything felt new and clean. I have no complaints with this place.

If any one is looking for great deals for hotels and resorts go over to . reserved a hotel on there and they had the absolute best prices any where!

Really quiet despite the heavy construction next door. Room was spacious and well kept, really clean. Easy access to downtown and all amenities. The staff was really kind and helpful and during covid were really good at keeping our needs first. Really appreciated. Thank you!

We really liked this hotel! Very clean, friendly staff, good location. The breakfast was great considering the covid-19 restrictions, great selection too. Liked the hot tub and parking was a reasonable price. Would book again.

Highly recommended. Excellent location. Very kind and helpful staff. Plenty of verities for breakfast. Excellent door service during quarantine time. We booked studio suite with full kitchen having all required utensils. Full speed free WiFi (we used to connect 4-5 devices) is a plus point. Paid parking is the only minus point for me. Overall excellent experience.

I would like to thanks for a staff from the operator/customer service. I booked the wrong hotel by mistake, while the guy who answered my call was very patient and helped me solve my problem. I forgot his name but I think he deserve the recognition. (His shift covered 11th from 2-3 p.m.) Thank you very much!

We had an excellent stay. The location is really convenient, right downtown and close to the west end. We loved our room, we had a studio suite with a massive balcony with nice views of the city and a kitchen. The room looked recently updated. The hot tub and pool is nice and there s underground parking. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay for families or couples, friendly and helpful staff, very clean hotel in and out with fully stocked kitchen and lots of space. Everything you need is within walking distance, so you are really set if you stay at the Residence Inn. No complaints!
